Stopped by this place on my way through town. It has a good hole-in-the-wall feel that you find at local-run Chinese food places like this. The owner is the one who served us and I’m pretty sure she cooked most of the food herself too. We were the only party there when we started our meal since it was between lunch and dinner. Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free, which is so hard to find. Even the soy sauce had gluten free options! I’ll definitely be here again if I find my way through town again.

Vegan &Gluten free options for nearly everything here!! Go try the "shiitake orange chicken," I dare ya =) best dang Chinese food I've enjoyed yet. Hands down.

My wife and I have been ordering here for years. It's the one of the frw decent Chinese restaurants that I like.

Their food is sabsolutely delicious and you can tell their products are fresh. Outstanding customer service. The best Chinese food I have had in Sonoma county. I'll be coming back!

This has become my family's favorite restaurant. The food is fantastic, the service is great. My family calls the head guy the Energizer Bunny, because he never ever slows down. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for some really good Chinese food.

Fresh, delicious food. Great delivery service. The interior is clean and staff are awesome and friendly. The food, like I said, is fresh, delicious, a lot of it is organic, and locally sourced. They even have several vegan options. The best Chinese food since I left San Francisco!

Just got take out PORK FRIED RICE & BEEF with VEGETABLES...
I almost needed help carrying out the 2 cartons...they weighed a ton.
The rice was great...the vegetables were snappy & PERFECT...not over cooked.
I am very very pleased.

China Chef is amazing. I was a first time customer today not expecting star treatment but that is what we received. I called in a large order for a party of 15 with about ten different dishes. I said I would arrive in 30 minutes but I could wait. When we arrived she had everything wrapped up in trays and boxes on a kitchen cart ready to help me load it into my car. She said they prepared enough for 20+ people no problem and she was not exaggerating. The food was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious! EVERYONE loved it. China Chef is our new favorite place for excellent food and customer service. 😊

China Chef is my new go-to restaurant when I’m in Cotati - they have so many vegan options and my boyfriend can vouch that their non-vegan dishes are equally delicious! I can’t say I’ve tried too much on the menu because I always end up craving their vegetable wonton soup with extra wontons - it’s the best I have ever had! They give generous portions at a great price and the owner is very sweet. The one time there was a misunderstanding with my order, they were apologetic and quick to remedy it. Definitely give this place a try!

China Chef is a wonderful Chinese restaurant that goes above and beyond to serve great food at a great price and not only that but with sincere friendliness. My family and I eat there for dinner often, as they are kind to all of our dietary needs. They have both gluten-free and vegetarian options. It is especially hard to find restaurants that are knowledgeable about making gluten-free dishes. China Chef is, and the food is delicious. They catered my wedding at an affordable price and with very much generosity. I highly recommend China Chef as an eat-in, take out restaurant and caterer.

I went there and the service was wonderful and the food was great they brought me tea without asking them. The tea was great and they were checking up to make sure everything was good very frequently and I definitely reccomend this restaurant for anyone and everyone who needs a place to go to that is fast and easy for a family of any number.

Fantastic Hot and Sour soup and other dishes!! They have many gluten free and dietary options and have been very accomodating and I have continued to buy my soup here as it is delicious and nourishing. Thanks L and staff!!

Great restaurant! The owner is very nice and friendly. Having been to China multiple times before, this place has authentic taste (Hunan province style). This place never disappoints--for Chinese restaurants outside of the Bay Area/SF, it is very hard to find a good-tasting place. I'm glad to have found this restaurant and have returned multiple times.

Unassuming and amazing food. They can make practically anything gluten free and delicious! The waitress was knowledgeable and pleasant. The food also came out amazingly fast. This is a must for eating eat here.

Wonderful food! Huge vegan option, many items are gluten free too. I have eaten here many times, it's one of my go toos.

Visiting from out of town and needed to find somewhere that accommodated my vegan life style and my boyfriends meat eating life style and they were beyond accommodating with many options for both of us. Great food, large portions, fast service, and clean environment.
