El Tesoro Mazatlan

The food was excellent out of this world. My wife and I had vegetarian enchilada, black beans and rice with a side of chips and some churros. The pineapple drink was so so so good, a real thirst quencher. 😁 The service was excellent. The service was quick. The atmosphere was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. I will be coming back again and again and again and again. 💯👍🏾❤

A lovely family restaurant with absolutely outstanding food. The pastor super burrito was sublime. Excellent salsas at the salsa bar. Friendly service makes you feel at home! Just go, you won't regret it!

First thing you need to know about this spot is that this is some of the best Mexican food I have had in Northern California. Just period. There isn't a dish here that wasn't good. The shrimp tacos were bomb, the enchiladas were great and I don't even know what we had with shredded beef as well but that was just delicious. And don't get me even started on the churros and Jamaica / Horchata (pure deliciousness)

Pair good food with phenomenal and I mean phenomenal customer service and this is spot where you see within 5 seconds of seating down and eating why it is so highly rated.

Parking is spotty and sparse next to the high way so be prepared for that. There is a local bar next door that was getting busy so be aware of the crowds around. That all being said, this spot is legit worth the travel and trip for and definition of a spot once you know about it you're going multiple times again.

The staff is incredibly friendly. Great portions, good taste, well priced. But again, amazing staff!!! I tried a carnitas taco and really enjoyed it. The food also came out fast, which we really appreciated since we wanted to get back on the road.

Such a great experience! The staff was so nice, friendly and accommodating. Before we even sat down properly they brought us tortilla chips, which they replenished twice more until the food we ordered arrived. It didn’t even take that long but they brought us chips while we waited for a few minutes. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, with good portions too! The shrimp tacos were so fresh and tasty and quite big as well. The El Tesoro steak taco was also delicious truly comfort food. At the end of our meal they brought us churros on the house which was a really nice treat to end our dinner and very nice of them. Highly recommend this place if you are local or you’re driving by like we did for dinner.

Authentic Mexican food! The service is amazing and they have a large, extensive menu. Get the street tacos and the churros. I love when the staff sings traditional Mexican songs.

AMAZING! This burrito was as long as my arm. I shared it with my boyfriend. They asked me if I wanted it cut in half. The ratios inside were perfect. With each bite getting steak, guac, ric and beans in it. The beans inside were so flavorful! Everything was perfect. The staff is so friendly and have great energy and attitudes. Also the salsa bar had so many options! Can’t wait to take other people here! This place needs to be shared with the world!

I really enjoy this place. Food is so flavorful. Fish tacos are favorite for us. There's music playing in the background. Staff is amazing, nice and attentive.

Pastor and marinated beef tacos were awesome. Really friendly people and just overall a really good little spot for some classic dishes. Delicious! They hooked up some Churros too. Hard to beat that.

Everything was fresh, every item had a unique flavor, and the staff was amazing. You will get a higher quality food than a normal Mexican restaurant.

Don't be deterred by the homeless and people loitering. The same people are there everyday. If they were remotely troublesome the P.D. would run them off. If you're worried just park out front and lock your car. Remember, it's Vallejo not downtown Detroit you'll be fine.

Oh my goodness!!! It was such good, authentic Mexican food and it brought back so many memories from when I was younger. I wish I could give them more stars. It was a wonderful, unexpected delight to our trip to San Francisco. ❤❤❤ and the staff was so friendly and cheerful. I can't say enough good things!
