Dr. Ember Keighley

My mom has been a patient of Dr. Embers for a few years. I met her for the first time today. My mom has had nothing but wonderful things to say about her. I was very impressed with the care she gave to my mom! She was very compassionate, caring, and thorough! Thank you Dr. Ember!! You go above & beyond in caring for my mom and are a true blessing! You are a rare and special physician! We would all be so lucky to be treated by a Dr. like you!

I do not agree with the one review on this site. Dr. Keighley is one of the most empathetic doctor the I have ever seen. She is always interested in what I have to say and she also send me to a specialist if necessary. I wish more were like her!

My second most horrible "doctor experience" ever. If you are looking for a doctor who does not judge and approaches you with empathy, you will not find it in her. I was forced to change doctors when I moved to a new county - and Dr. Keighley was accepting new patients. My initial impression was positive - do not be fooled. Even though I was diagnosed by a previous doctor a few years earlier and saw specialists before - somehow, it was not enough. At some point, for the purposes of my disability appeal - I asked her to fill out a quick questionnaire. We made it to the question regarding my migraines; now, for a few months we have been discussing how I run out of my medications due to the fact that often I need more than one pill per migraine and the insurance only pays for 9, but I get about 8 migraines a month. Dr Keighley asked: oh, so how many migraines do you get a month? I answered, as always - "about 7 or eight". She smiled and said "oh, let's say 3 then". And it is what put in the form. "LET"S SAY 3" ?? If that does not give you an idea of what kind of a doctor, much less human being she is, nothing will. Thank you for your lack of understanding. It pushed me to finally look for a doctor who - like the wonderful doctors I've met in the past - actually cares.
And I am no longer suicidal due to my physical pain and inability to find compassionate care.
