This park is wonderful for Hiking, mountain biking or Horse back riding. The trails are well maintained and have benches to sit and enjoy the views. I have been coming here for years taking my daughters fishing in the pond. Come out and enjoy the park with its abundance of wildlife and view of rolling hills. There is also a picnic area with playground for kids…

Well kept secret in Petaluma, their park is spacious, multiple rolling hills and views of more. Many bicyclists and Hikers, casual walkers, families, and a healthy diversity of people, It has many access points, and spacious parking lots

We went to this park on a Sunday in August. The park was mostly dry, but we enjoyed our time here. There are quite a few trails here, and the people are nice too. They’ve a parking lot here too, which I presume isn’t free. We did the panorama trail, and the smell of wood and nature took us into another world. I’ll be back here to explore other trails when I’m in Petaluma. The mobile network wasn’t available here for us(T-Mobile), and we didn’t have a car, so we had to walk some distance away from the park to book an Uber, in case that helps anyone.

Just hiked here for the first time with my mother and my son who is 9. We had gorgeous weather. The hills were lush and green. We brought sandwiches for lunch and ate at picnic tables and my son played on the playground near the parking area. It was an easy hike to the top of the ridge where we had great views of the Petaluma Valley. The path we chose went past a large pond. My son loves to throw rocks into the water! There was a strong wind at the top of the ridge. Be sure to bring layers!

Really beautiful park to get outside at Petaluma. The poppy's were in bloom and it was green and gorgeous. Nice views and a pretty easy hike for anyone of any age

Gorgeous place for a hike, lots of optional loops you can take or not to adjust the length of your hike to the needs and desires of whoever you may be with.

This is one of the most beautiful hikes and views that you can experience in Sonoma county. I highly recommend it! Go all the way up!

Wonderful bit of nature minutes outside of Petaluma’s downtown. Moderate hikes worth every inch of effort. Must see.

This is the best park in Petaluma for taking a hike. I love the new entrance!

One of my favorite go-tos to get out of town for a bit. If you go early enough, you can listen to the birds singing their morning songs as you wander the trails. And try to spot the abundance of wildlife and wildflowers. Bathrooms are by the main parking lot, near the playground. There are water fountains at the main and Windsor Ave entrances. Dogs are welcome, on leashes.
There is a $7 fee to park at the main parking lot.

We really enjoyed the great view from this short and easy 2.5 mile hike, overlooking cities below the expanse open space!

Chatting under a shady tree, BONUS!

Beautiful park with beautiful views. We came here on a 65 degree days and loved the views. There were many folks riding horses, which was fun to watch. Lots of steps in some places = good workout.

Offers good but challenging hikes since there are a lot of hills. Two different areas to park, one is paid and one is not since it is in a neighborhood. Beautiful views of Petaluma, good place to take the dog to. Some trails are more shaded than others, so definitely bring a hat and sunscreen. Probably 3+ miles worth of hiking to do here, and they’re in the process of building a new trail it looks like!

Wonderful place to hike. They have done a lot of work on the trails. The West Wind trail from the traffic circle on Windsor is particularly nice.

Early evening hike, beautiful but SUPER windy! Love the hills and steps, my regular walks are flat and it's nice to have a challenge.

Very peaceful and wonderful hills filled with sprawling old oak trees. See wildlife of some sort every time we come out. Will frequent often!
