We are so glad we chose to dine at Valette!! We shared the chef’s choice 5 course tasting menu and it was a culinary delight!! The food was prepared perfectly and coursed out in perfect timing. Exceptional service, food and cocktails!! We can’t wait to visit again!

We live on the east coast and this is our second time! Food is amazing and the portions generous and cocktails on point. The star is the baked scallop! If you don’t like scallops, this dish can change your mind. Will we come back? Yes

Valette Restaurant is located in the downtown Healdsburg area and has both indoor and outdoor seating. I love the ambiance of this place and the service is always excellent! We have been here several times since the food is amazing! The staff are friendly and it's always a great experience dining here.

The food is absolutely delicious! I ordered the Pan Seared Lassen Steel Head and my husband got the Smoked Prime New York Steak. We shared a Sonoma County Citrus Salad that was also amazing! The wine list has amazing options and I love that they have wines from local wineries.

We shared the tasting menu since we don’t eat much. We paired it with wine and it was spectacular! The service and the food were phenomenal!

Our waiter John was amazing. His recommendations were all very tasty. We would love to come back and try more dishes. I loved the poke starter and the steak entree.

Went for Restaurant Week. Service phenomenal. Food was absolutely fantastic. Always order the soup. Best course by far.

I jewel of a find in Healdsburg. The owners focus on fresh and high quality ingredients. Menu options are creative, well done, and mouth watering.. The ambiance is wonderful. Service is great. Fresh, hot bread is served. As one would expect with a high-end restaurant, prices come in a little high. All together, it is worth it. Looking for a great experience, try Valette.

Update 3/5/2024 - It was my son's 25th birthday. We chose Valette to celebrate and made reservations. It was a Tuesday at 5:30. So, not busy. We sat outside in the patio. Everything was perfect. The menu didn't disappoint. Our choices included duck, steelhead trout and sides of sweet potatoes, and mixed vegetables. Of course, there was artisan bread. Yum! Our server let us know that the duck required extra preparation time, maybe 30 minutes. No problem, we had lots to talk about. The wait wasn't long, and our meals were served. But, there was a glitch. No sides. We waited a few minutes. Still no sides. So, I asked. Our server returned and said he just ordered our sides - like this was good service. It wasn't. And, he didn't acknowledge the error. Main dishes without the sides is a terrible dining experience. How does this happen when the restaurant isn't busy? I thought our server might offer some kind of comp, a gesture. Nope, nothing was mentioned. Not to get lost, our meals were wonderful. Our experience told us Valette would be great. This evening, it wasn't. Mistakes happen. Owning the mistake matters. Particularly when the cost of the experience is high. Will I return? Maybe.

We celebrated our 40th anniversary and everything was amazing! They made our special evening perfect. I highly recommend the chefs tasting menu!

Arrived early with a reservation for 5 people. They accommodated us right away. Service was quick and professional. Food came out delicious and flavorful. Cocktails were expertly crafted. Table service was attentive and left nothing wanting. Started with bread for the table with a poppy seed butter, fresh warm and delicious. Apps came next; beef tartare was my favorite, followed by the burrata, caviar, and tuna poke. All apps were amazing, bright, and fresh. Split the pork loin and the duck breast. Finished with cappuccino and the snickers cake... was definitely worth saving room for.

It's a fairly small restaurant so most tables were for parties of 6 or less.

Service was very friendly. They kept our wine and water flowing and tried to time our dishes well.

It gets pretty loud inside with the small space and acoustics. I wish it was a little easier to hear people talk, but it's ok.

Don't skip their fresh bread and butter! It's far better than other places.

Their ahi tuna, trout, and wagyu steak were all 5/5! And their homemade snickers bar.

If you haven't been here yet, book a table immediately! We ordered a 6-course tasting menu with the wine pairing and the food was unbelievable! It was easily the best tasting menu experience of my life, partly because the service (from Frank) was so good... and partly because the food was extraordinary. We especially liked the scallops, the ahi, the beef tartare, and the sole. The vibe is incredibly chill for such an elevated culinary experience. We loved it and we'll return! Total price for 2 before gratuity was about $420, a bargain for the quantity and the quality of the food and wine!

Great meal and an anchor event for our group vacation. They very smoothly accommodated the vegan, vegetarian, and omnivores in our group. All the food was AWESOME. The wine pairings were also outstanding. An experience to remember.

My first time having California Cuisine (as a Californian) and it was such a wonderfully executed dining experience.

The heirloom gazpacho was a nice start to the meal and a very nice surprise in the flavor department: light, floral, and enhanced with the natural sweetness of the heirloom melon. I thought the scallop dish was very nice but needed a touch of heat and acid; it still was a very solid and interesting app.

The duck breast is a must-get. It was everything I expected of a duck breast dish from the California cuisine perspective and more: succulent, crispy skin, perfectly mid rare, and yet it never ate heavy. Use of duck confit in the salad portion of the dish was both smart and delicious. My partner loved the halibut, which was glistening from what I saw.

Loved the meal so much and a perfect end to a trip from the wine country. Thanks Valette!

Valette has won me as a permanent customer not only because of their very delicious, creative and well presented food, but also their impeccable service from the entire staff team led by general manager Harry Bryan. Special shout out to Frank, who happened to be our server twice in a row. Frank is knowledgeable, professional and very personal. The cocktail he customized for me still the best drink I had. Whenever I had a special request, he always went extra mile to accommodate and turned out to be great surprises. Thank you for such memorable evenings for my friends and my family. We look forward to have another fantastic experience on the coming NYE.

The outside patio is so well done, you feel warm and cozy. The staff were all so polite and attentive, very well versed in the menu. I can’t even begin to say my favorite part of the meal, best duck I’ve ever had. The brea butter and jam was amazing. Our server Jacob was so funny and knowledgeable.

Very inviting and warm atmosphere. Service was very friendly, efficient, and helpful. The wine recommendations were perfect. Menu options are excellent, something for everyone. I enjoyed the velvety pumpkin soup, just perfect for a cold rainy evening. Entrees were fresh and delicious.

We had the poke, burrata cheese, duck and pork with a fantastic Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley). We were celebrating our anniversary and they complemented a couple of desserts.

Incredible!! This was one of my most favorite dining experiences ever!! My husband and I came for our anniversary and both got the 5 course Chefs Tasting Menu. I got the wine pairing with it. It was absolutely delicious!!! I loved that we each received different dishes for each course so we can try a little of everything. My favorite (besides the amazing desserts💙) was the beef tartare! I’ve always wanted to try it and boy was this the place to try it. It was amazing, with the truffle on top! My husbands fav was the Scallop en Croute. I included a few pictures so that you can see the gorgeous plating as well. When we come back to Nor Cal this will definitely be on the list of must dos!!! Also shout out to Sandra our wonderful waitress, the managers and the other roving wait staff who all made sure we were having an incredible experience! 💕💕💕

Really an excellent dinner. Had an exceptional steak and my wife's pork chop was also great. Good wine list and overall experience.
