We enjoyed a delightful dinner. The atmosphere, food and service were all as we anticipated. The only disappointment was the delay during the serving of the main course. The last person was served about ten minutes after the first person at our table received their dinner.

Came in purely at random and wasn't even particularly hungry. But others in my party were and they picked a winner. Some standouts were the play on French onion dip with house made potato chips. We had a couple pasta dishes (one mushroom, one bolognese) and both were rock stars. The fried chicken is an absolute must. The chicken's fantastic but it's sitting on a bed of heaven: purple cabbage, yogurt and a hot vinegar sauce. All together, they're just music.

Everything on the menu sounded delicious and we were so pleased when our order arrived. Be careful not to over order like we did. We were told they were sharing sizes but they were very generous portions. The pork belly biscuits are a must order!

Great lunch / brunch experience. The outdoor patio is so pleasant and spacious. They have some outdoor heaters and fire pits that makes the place even more comfy. The staff were all very nice with us, I felt really well taken care of. The food was delicious, we had one of the pastas, pretzels, the cheese and charcuterie board and the pumpkin pudding bread. The mezcal cocktail was amazing and a must if you like spicy cocktails. Our pasta was so tasty but all others seemed nice too! Pretzels were really warm which felt quite nice.

I went to Chalkboard for my birthday dinner in late November with my girlfriend and family. It had been about 3 years since my last visit, and I was really happy to see the positive changes they've made while still maintaining what they've always been great at. The food was amazing – we had a variety of cocktails, starters, salads, and main courses, and none of them disappointed. The service was top-notch too, and a special shout-out to Kayla L. for her fantastic service and attitude. I highly recommend Chalkboard if you're looking for quality food in a great spot.

Top notch dinning! This food will impress anyone. The Pork Belly Biscuits are must. Thank me later. Great spot for any celebration. We had a wonderful date night and plan to go back next chance we get. Shout out to the awesome staff and cooks. Yall did an awesome job. Thank you for an amazing evening!

I was in a little bit of a funk, had a couple of hours to kill before a meeting; and decided to stop in to Chalkboard. I spent my evening with Jackson, Kaija, and Yana who totally turned my mood around and I left feeling delighted. Watching Jackson carefully and thoughtfully curate cocktails for customers, Kaijia caring for each guest as they came in and even after, then there’s Yana who puts so much energy into making sure each guest has the best experience possible. I thought to myself during this visit- does the owner know or care about these amazing employees or are they lost individuals in a billionaires business portfolio and I sure hope the later is not the case. Employees like these are priceless and especially because I interviewed each one of them and they care about the owner, company, brand; even more importantly is they care about every customer. Regardless of who you are, this posh property and dinning establishment is what it is- because of its employees like Yana, Jackson, and Kaijia. Thank you for turning my evening into a lovely experience- you truly never know how your sweet souls might just turn someone’s “rough moment in life” into a happy sweet moment. I hope this review brings a smile to your face, touches your hearts, and brightens your day- like you did mine ;)

Delicious meal and fabulous service. The pork belly biscuits are a mainstay on the menu and a must have. The rest of the menu changes regularly, but homemade pastas are fantastic, we had a shrimp with preserved lemon pasta that was delicious. Be sure to save room for desert as it was possibly the highlight of the meal. They have a very talented pastry chef.

Upscale casual bistro located in the Les Mars Hotel just off the square in Healdsburg. Tapas type of menu and the servers do a good job explaining portions etc, so we were perfect on what we ordered. We started with an excellent steelhead trout crudo- so delicate it melted in your mouth and was paired with an excellent hot pepper and citrus sauce. We each got a salad - the Caesar was very good and the market salad had an amazing vinaigrette dressing. For dinner the steak came perfectly prepared medium rare and the clams were served in a hearty spicy and garlicky sauce. For dessert we chose the Toffee cake with ice cream - this was the only improvement I noted - basically a small 1.5” scoop of ice cream with a 6” diameter cake - just a slightly larger amount of ice cream would have been perfect. The wine list is thorough.

Sharing small plates is a dining adventure. Presentation adds to that adventure. Every item can be enjoyed. The desserts are incredible. Take the time for a memorable meal.

This is our third time eating at Chalkboard and the food, service and ambiance never cease to impress! The bouillabaisse was perfectly light while still being satisfying enough for an entree, the salmon was amazing as well and went perfectly with the corn and green beans it was served with! For dessert we had the cherry sorbet since we were celebrating a birthday which conveniently (intentionally?) tasted delicious with the black Forrest verrine, so delicious! We’ll be back next time we’re in the area!

Food was amazing! The most interesting and flavorful fried chicken I've ever had! It was boneless chicken thighs! In an amazing sauce! Brussel sprouts were amazing! Yellow tail crudo was good. Little gem salad hit the mark! Grilled corn was well made. MUST TRY the fingerling potatoes! SERIOUSLY! Server was a little snobby, and the drinks were slow to the table, but still a must visit.

Chalkboard's food was delicious - our favorite was the short rib ratatouille. The back patio was spacious and beautiful, and the service was excellent!

Love the food!!!! Their chicken was amazing!

I like their pretzels and Burrata Peach Salad too.

Chalkboard had a fun atmosphere (loved the back patio) and very decent food. A good place to go with a group (including kids) and have a long, relaxed meal. Our main meal also did not come all at once; there was about a 10 minute wait between dishes.

Amazing selection of Tapas style dishes and artisan cocktails! Be sure to check out the Mexican inspired pasta!

We had a wonderful experience here! The service was very friendly and pretty quick, and the food was absolutely amazing. We also ordered cocktails, which were great but obviously drove up the price-per-person. Our waitress said it's usually suggested to order a few things and share, which made it easier for us to try more menu items and worked out really well for us.

Great food and drinks. Service was friendly and competent. Nice wine selection too!
