Hotel Les Mars

Sumptuous. We went for our anniversary. The concierge was kind and helpful. The experience was luxurious in its details, from chocolate left on the pillow to travel slippers laid out by the bed and room service for breakfast. It was an easy walk to downtown and we found plenty there to look at and taste.

Absolutely one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in! A true gem in Healdsburg. The staff is super accommodating. The rooms are GORGEOUS! The bathrooms are LUXURIOUS! And the location is perfect. Walking distance to stores, great restaurants, and tasting rooms. (and a Farmers Market on Saturdays). And a short drive to hundreds of wonderful wineries/ vineyards. I was going to "treat" myself with one stay..... and have been going back ever since. Its THAT NICE!!

Absolutely beautiful room and great location in the town. Champagne when you arrive at check-in and a lovely fireplace at the foot of your bed. Chocolates on your pillow with turndown service. Parfait and scone for breakfast delivered to your door at the time of your choice. Amazing experience.

Excellent staff. I came here for a Healdsburg Chamber networking event. The place is stunning and very charming. I was greeted immediately when walking in with wonderful hospitality. Love the decor, ambiance, and vibe of this hotel. It's conveniently located in downtown Healdsburg. I enjoyed our networking event in the back patio area which was perfect.

Everything was perfect! We were greeted immediately when we walked in, they helped with our bags and car, handed us a terrific glass of champagne at check-in, were so helpful in every way! We originally booked nearby Hotel Healdsburg, but when we didn't get the room we actually booked and all they could say was were "so sorry, but we can't help you," as well as not helping us in any other way, we left and luckily Hotel Les Mars had rooms and the staff was so warm and hospitable. The restaurant, Chalkboard was really good as well. Great service, the servers really knew their wines and food was good. Highly recommend the hotel and restaurant for a luxurious wine country getaway.

Excellent staff and service.
The chalkboard restaurant next door is quite tasty and reasonably priced. No corkage fee if you're staying at the hotel. My lovely wife and I had the cheese macaroni, homemade, a heirloom tomato salad and a fantastic dessert which I can't remember the name of right now ha!

Two-night weekend stay was awesome! We’re definitely returning. Accommodations, location and service were ideal. Quite a value.

The new manager Demetri and the entire staff were awesome, welcoming and provided an impeccable service. The Hotel Les Mars is a Luxurious and very comfortable establishment worthy of a very fine European hotel and of the Relais & Chateaux affiliation. Its location in Healdsburg is perfect as it is located a block from the downtown plaza and within walking distance of restaurants, stores and evening social events. Parking is street only and may be difficult on weekend but not problematic. We'll return and do recommend this establishment.

Outstanding hotel with spacious rooms, classic French furnishings, marble bathroom (with a bidet) and a fireplace! Large French casement Windows open to the quiet streets below. Amenities like bottled water, Nespresso machine, fresh cream, chocolates at turn down each night, and even a bottle of wine at arrival were all included. Loved that the tv went into a cabinet when not turned on. The four poster canopy bead was super comfortable and was great for just lounging in hotel provided robes. Sitting area and desk made catching up on work emails simple and comfortable. Also had a both an after dinner bottle of wine with friends, and a business meeting in the library off the lobby. It was incredibly comfortable and the staff was accommodating. Finally, the Chalkboard Restaurant in the building was excellent (as every Healdsburg restaurant has been). Just a block from the park and lots of restaurants, shops and tasting rooms. Truly a pleasure to stay here.

Absolutely amazing! Rooms are some of the most beautiful I have ever stayed in and I am used to staying at high end hotels. Staff was very accommodating and made me feel like home away from home. The town is really nice so it was a score for my 10 year anniversary trip. Bring your sig other here and you will have lifelong memories!

Been privileged and fortunate to have stayed in many world class properties in the world. Sad that I didn't get to stay at Les Mars due to the California wild fire in Aug 2020 (all my other reservations - Single Thread Restaurant, Horse Back riding were all cancelled). However, my review is about the experience with the interactions with Claire, guest manager at the property. Absolutely world class and the best I have experienced in the US, by far. I called to ask for some information and Claire recognized my caller id even though it was booked thru Expedia....Wow The time and detail she spent providing recommendations show that she genuinely wants you to feel like a guest rather than a faceless customer. Claire, keep up the good work and stay safe.

Hands down lovely. We went on a whim for Mother's day and I am so thankful. The hotel is small (maybe 15 rooms), on the main square in Healdsburg, and rooms are welcoming, clean and big. Service was great and the fee included a fabulous breakfast in the morning. Only small dislike was the skim milk provided with coffee early in the morning before any cafe in town opened. We also enjoyed the 5pm wine and cheese tasting in the library. It is offered to all the guests. This hotel reminded me of our place in Paris last year and I can't wait to come back again!

Cozy, old school European vibe with all the modern amenities one expects. Their staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful with recommendations and reservations for restaurants and various activities. Super easy walk to local spots and main plaza. Loved Chalkboard downstairs for cocktails and Shed across the street for coffee and meals.

Book weekend because I was seeing a show across the street.

Hotel Les Mars is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and the staff are amazing.
