I've been staying at hotels for about 5 years now.. and Here at the 6.I have been treated like a KING.. especially from the front desk Lady's.Ashley and her partner in.Crime they go Out of there way to make sure that Everything is PERFECT for me.Each and everyday..

This place was extraordinary! You wouldn't think so, being a Motel 6, but the staff MAKES it. Ashley, Maria, Dawn - everyone has been so courteous, helpful and they always have a genuine smile on their faces. You don't always get that everywhere. Will definitely always choose this place because of them. Thank you!

We love this motel. Very friendly staff. Ashley, Jennifer, and Katherine are incredibly nice. Everyone from the maids to the maintenance man are wonderful. Rooms are extremely clean. They even have a jacuzzi 😉. Close to restaurants. 5 minutes from the beach. Every room automatically has a refrigerator. Great location to stay at folks.

If you are an app friendly deal finder you book through third party apps . So your expectations are to pay less than what motel rate.
Day chekin associate was unable to find itenerary we just booked. But Jennifer is a evening specialist and does perfect her work with guaranteed customer satisfaction.

It was nice and a good price. Good service. Clean. Room had a lingering cigarette smell but other than that all was good.

I personally have never had a bad experience at this location. It is a short ride to my workplace and the staff is extremely welcoming and will make sure that your stay is comfortable and safe. There are multiple shopping centers and restaurants (fast food included) that are within 15 minutes of the site. Definitely recommend checking it out.

Room was clean and everything functioned well. Jacuzzi was awesome needed after the strawberry festival LOL
Refrigerator and microwave worked great. There was no room cleaning but another set of towels were provided when we requested.

Rooms were basic. I don't think the tub was ever used as a tub so it didn't hold water. I was too tired to complain but I'm sure they would have fixed the problem. The bed was kinda cheap. I was looking for a cheap and clean motel! Was satisfied!

I would just like to say that I rarely write reviews, especially for hotel stays...but motel 6 Johnson drive has gone above and beyond with everything from their friendly helpful staff (Kathy u are amazing!) to their mini fridge in each room (you're listening to us!). I've probably stayed in a dozen different rooms here and every one has been clean & comfortable. The management has been professional, yet understanding, thru COVID, flooding, and other crisis situations we have all experienced over the past couple years...when I come here, it's like coming home...keep up the good work motel 6 south ventura, you have hit the mark and I will be a loyal customer here always...

Jeff an Kathy are extremely good with customer service an accommodate me when I have 2 different booking every week all the staff is cool an gen. Manager aswell excellent service an rooms are very clean beds are awesome 👌

Pretty good just a lot of weridos walking around at times cleaning people need to learn how to say hello 🤔
Despite reporting to front desk, the man trying to look in my peephole, and girls standing in hallway hanging out & talking outside my window (literally all night) "there is nothing we can do about it"
The rooms are standard, clean, and the checking lady at 3pm was friendly, but it went downhill when the sun set.
I felt uncomfortable, and like a target for criminal activity. More than the average number of sketchy characters around the property, who did not have rooms there 🤔 staff is ight

Nice stay here. We can recommend it. Clean room and pool with whirlpool. 10 min to Walmart and 15 min to the beach.

Ashley and Daniel are superb people. I was in need of some human kindness and received it today at the Johnson Dr, Ventura, CA Motel 6. I’m a regular at Motel 6 because I travel with two dogs and I know what to expect. So, my 5 star rating is based on my best experience at Motel 6 and 1 star is my worst experience at Motel 6. Motel 6 is an average place to lodge. If you require more, simply pay for an expensive room. What can make a big difference is staff. Ashley and Daniel are such staff people. They still don’t know this but I have a medical condition right now that makes me sensitive to sun and heat and we’re in a record heat wave. Furthermore, I slipped and fell on wet stairs at the beach and came down hard on my tailbone. I just needed AC and a bed. I showed early for the reservation and asked if I could enter the room early too. I’m not a demanding person so if they said it wasn’t possible I can accept that. Ashley and Daniel must’ve noticed I wasn’t feeling well because I didn’t mention it to them like I said above. Nevertheless, they switched me to a room that was available at no charge and even called me in the room to check if everything was ok. I’m appreciative of the little act of humanity they offered me today. Being able to share my experience with you makes me feel better too!

Very good experience- the cute little manager at the front desk (I think she was the manager?) was very nice and helpful. The room was clean. We stayed ended up in the corner room on the ground floor. It was a good location, not too much traffic outside our door. If you’re looking for a basic room, with nice front desk ppl, and a hassle-free experience- this motel 6 is the motel for you!

I booked the room through their website and saved a lot of money. When I walked in the last time, they charged $170. Booking the room over the website before showing up, I only paid $82. We needed a room for a disabled person, so it was downstairs, and had a bathtub. I'll be staying there again. Edit: I'm keeping it at 5 stars because it's a good hotel when the experience is good, which is 99% of the time. This last experience was awful though. There was a mouse in the room that went into a hole in the wall. They tested the fire alarm at 6:30am. Then bathroom sink leaked and there was a puddle on the floor.

It was a great experience. The maintenance staff were very professional. As well as the front desk staff. Definitely will stay again.

Not our 1st stay and not our last. Great ownership & management. Dog / pet friendly. Military discounts for Active Duty & Veterans. Fantastic, friendly staff across the board including room service & maintenance. They're always making improvements and fixes to the property. I never have anything bad to say about this Motel 6. Very well managed & owned. Two Thumbs up!! \m/ \m/
