Really love this little boutique! Really cool unique clothing and jewelry. Only place to get pendleton shirts in Humboldt county as far as I can tell. The owner is super nice and even makes some of the clothing that she sells along with other localy made designs. She also has donated items for schools fund raising auctions when my kids were still in school! love supporting this shop!

I absolutely love the clothing and Lindsey! Recently purchased a Plum Duster with hood that ties in the back like a corset.. Such femininity... unique and sexy! Shall I say Renaissance?
I feel beautiful and confident wearing this Duster and it's not like clothing anyone else has ! I have more clothing than that by the way fron Sacred Empire and plan on more ! Such a creative soul in Lindsey Love this store and her creations .

Wonderful clothing shop! I try to only wear natural fiber whenever possible especially in the summer to keep cool. Lindsey’s selection of hand made in shop items are sure to please. She even does custom work. My new green cotton dress is my new favorite. Thank you Lindsey!

I ended up here the week of graduation because I had not found a dress yet. The lady/owner(?) was so helpful and pointed me towards favorites and dresses she has been waiting to see someone in. I tried on 3 dresses and bought one made by her. I've worn it twice now and have considered going again to peruse just because it was a nice experience.

This store is HANDS DOWN my favorite place to shop. Lindsay is always super welcoming and knows exactly what will look great on me by just looking at me! She has a gift. Everything at her shop is quality especially the items she makes herself, I still have everything I have ever bought from her looking like it did the day I picked it up! Go. Now. Or when she opens ...you will LOVE it.

Sacred Empire is such a blessing! The clothing there is high quality at fair pricing. The owner Linsday is an angel! I’ve known her for twenty years and her creations have always been super duper beautiful. Definitely stop in and support this grassroots local business run by good hearted folks💖

I have never written a review on google, but I felt like it was necessary after seeing the few bad reviews! I've only been in here three times but every time i am SO SATISFIED with everything... customer service, products and even the prices! I find that small boutique style stores with local artists work can be very expensive but sacred empire has such great prices with great quality and beautiful clothing and jewelry. So unfortunate people didnt see that too. Definitely check out the place, they always have awesome styles that are hard to find in most shops!

The owner, Lindsay is just lovely along with her beautiful clothing creations! Such a sweet little boutique store that is always a pleasure to visit.

Love this store. Best prices and best selection in town. Picked up a graduation dress for my daugter and a dress off the $20 rack. We always make it a point to stop here when in Arcata. It's become a tradition for us when I'm in the area.

Amazing, high quality, mostly hand-made clothes that will last you years if taken care of. I highly recommend checking out Sacred Empire!

Sales associate suggested I try CVS when I didn't seem interested in the jewelry they offered.

Giving one star because the owner messaged me accusing me of posting another review on here I did not post. I did however not get phone calls back from the store. I was told by the store clerk that they do free alterations with tekki. I promised Lindsay the store owner I would prove to her that my google account has my name on it. The one thing I like about the store is that at least half of the stuff is made in america and that the store contributes her own clothing line that is made locally. The staff is snobby though. Because of her accusations I don't shop here anymore.
