Raul’s Smog

Raul’s has smogged all my vehicles for many years. After the most recent time, they sent a check a few days later, a refund after they’d noticed they had accidentally overcharged me. I was perfectly happy with the work and the cost, didn’t suspect there was a problem, and had they not informed me, I would never have known. Now that’s an honest business right there.

Good local business I've been to a couple times now, for SMOG check. They run on a first come first serve basis, had a few cars there when I rolled in but they were very quick and I only waited about 15-20 minutes for my smog check. Glad to have a good place near home. Thanks!

These guys are great with a great price too. They charged $58 out the door for my 2008 Ram 1500. Anywhere else they would have charged me $15 more. I'll be coming back for my other cars.

Raul's is AWESOME! Every single person whom I spoke with while waiting my turn to smog our car was incredible! After having 6mo of one issue after another, paying for parts to fix ourselves or forking out funds for mechanic to fix, we weren't to donate the vehicle. We decided to try one last smog, only to have it FAIL again. They provided us w/information & assistance in Retiring the Vehicle through BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repairs) for $1500! It's not very often you find good, hard working people who genuinely care about their customers thoughts & needs.

Even more amazing was the fact that a week after having the smog done & paid for, I received a letter informing me they had made an error on our invoice, it stated I'd been overcharged by $8.25 (honestly I never would have noticed or been concerned about if I had discovered it before receipt of the letter, they had been so kind & helpful from the moment I pulled onto the property, not to mention the fact they helped me get $1500 unexpectedly which was so exciting) they then sincerely apologized & enclosed was a reimbursement check for the $8.25 overcharge. They are the real deal! I'd give them 10 stars if it would allow me to! Definitely worth any amount of time & money, just knowing you see in good hands. We need more business like this in this day & age!

Raul, his Wife and employees are so nice. Raul’s honesty and kindness are the make them stand out. We have taken our trucks there for 20 plus years and I am so happy always with their service. Can’t say enough about them.

I could not be more satisfied. Raul's Smog is operated by wonderful people with decades of experience. Their pricing is excellent -- these are good people who are not trying to take your money. Everyone is so friendly, too, and that means a lot to me. I've got smog check stations closer to my house, but I will always go with Raul's because my experiences there have been just perfect. I give them my highest recommendation!

We've had mechanic work and smog done at Rauls Smog. Everyone is very friendly, polite, reasonable prices. I drive from Ventura to Santa Paula I'm happy with Rauls service. It's hard to find honest Mechanic shop. Highly recommend!

I've gone too many mechanics trying to find the perfect one. Raul can fix anything and do it right doesn't go for the expensive stuff right away figures what is actually going wrong and fixes the problem. I have had a couple things with different cars and it was not what I thought there's actually something rather simple he could have gone for the big-ticket item but his honesty is what keeps me going to him as well his knowledge.

I went in today (8/17/21) for a smog check ✔, the staff was super friendly and helpful. I was in and out in less that 20 minutes. This was hands down the smoothest and easiest experience I have ever had when smoging my car

Raul is a gentleman, he understood we're in pandemic time.. As soon as I arrived to his place, start working in my car ..did his work and forwarded the results to the DMV...did not take too long. Thank you Raul👍

Nice smog station and fair pricing.
CAUTION! THE GOOGLE DIRECTION BUTTON TAKES YOU TO AN ORANGE TREE IN THE MIDDLE OF A FARM. MANUALLY TYPE THEIR ADDRESS IN GOOGLE TO GET TO THE SHOP. They are working to fix it, so hopefully by the time you come it is fixed.

Staff is very personable. Very efficient and accurate. I have been their customer for a long time and will continue to use them.
