Very clean and pleasant location. Get away from the city. Safe.

Great park by the river and plenty of places to just chill out and enjoy life! Has Has skate park, pools, volleyball courts, and a soccer field too! Nice trails for walking or riding bikes that go all the way to sundial bridge and up towards Keswick and wraps around to the other side of the river! Spring time I the best to do it as it's not so hot out!

There is a skate park, a water park pool, playground, and a large picnic grass area. There is lots of parking here. You can walk along the river here. There are always homeless people here,

Very cool skate park. Has 4 stair ledges and hand rails, flat round rails, half/transfers/quarter pipes for very skating, grind boxes, drops, gaps, old school snake style surfing structure, table tops, manual pads, bowls, ect. Come check it out! Bathrooms will be on the left side of the aquatic pool place when faced towards it. Drinking fountain located across from the basketball court.

Great park! Perfect place to run the energy outta the kids for a bit. Skate park, Bike jumps, playground, aquatic center, and so much more! Lovely Sacramento River Trail to stroll down that passes right through.. This is my kids' favorite park to visit by far!!

* PLEASE READ IMPORTANT INFO 4 PARENTS *** Awesome skatepark much needed here in Redding. As someone who’s been skateboarding for 10+ years and is part of the Redding skate scene we greatly appreciate it…..

HOWEVER please SUPERVISE your children. Letting your small children slide play and run around on the skatepark while there is a perfectly fine (huge af) park with slides right there is UNACCEPTABLE. There have been countless times where myself or another rider has almost gotten seriously injured because of your kids. Most of the people skating are good enough to try and avoid it but accidents happen and I can see some Karens getting seriously pissed at a skater / rider when the parents would be totally at fault for letting them run around in a professional grade transitional bowl that’s being used as intended by riders. And of course we would never want to hurt your kids. Also if your child is not comfortable riding and making sure to take turns while there are a bunch of intermediate - advanced people skating / riding, the old skatepark or the bike pump track is a great place to learn to roll around on boards bikes and scoots until they are comfortable and can learn skatepark etiquette.

This park is amazing and would love to keep it a good place for everyone.

Fun park to visit with friends and family, very spacious with a lot of shade and room for picnics and activities

I have read a lot of comments about homeless, it will be so nice to provide some coffee to this people and some meals, specifically on this cold 🥶 days 😞

Great park they need a better outdoor fitness area I talked to parks and rec and they are working on donations to get an outdoor fitness area i definitely can’t wait. The community needs this 🙏

Love this Park And It's Location Perfect For A Family Or Just By Yourself .

Can't say enough about this Park since preschool remembering the train merry-go-round and the smell of hot popcorn in the air.wish that place was still there.had thanksgiving dinner there solo it was good

I teach an exercise class here for the City of Redding so I am at the park often. I love it here and it's usually a very safe and beautiful walk from Caldwell to the sundial bridge (and back).

Nice family park. We used this as our starting point for our bike ride up to Shast Dam

There a nice skate park and a small bike park for kids. A big plus was no homeless

Nice Park w several restrooms. Kids love the BMX track and there is a nice walking/biking trail along river.

Very pretty, love the park. Would definitely have a picnic here or a party. Very shady so it's nice and cool.
