Brought in my Jackson to be set up and the luthier was extremely kind and helpful! He got my guitar setup and ready to rock by the next day! Will be coming back for sure! The owner was great as well advising me on what cleaners and fretboard treatments I needed. Good customer service not pushy at all!

Such friendly and knowledgeable help from the staff! Helped bring to light some of the points of a whammy (did I spell that right? 😂) which my brother is specifically looking for in his next guitar and will definitely consider before he decides on which guitar to buy. My brother was not pushed into buying anything and the guy genuinely seemed like he wanted to help! Five stars!

I went in for help with sound for a big outdoor party. I was ready to purchase an additional amp or set of speakers but the owner actually talked me out of it, telling me I just needed to buy a little adapter for about 4 bucks. Huge help, worked perfectly, and he cared more about my needs than making a sale. Will definitely go back for any needs I have!

Owner is friendly and knowledgeable. They have more than I had expected of a Redding Music shop. Mike repaired and replaced the saddle on my cheap acoustic guitar for a reasonable price. Will definitely return for any instrument repairs or accessory needs.

This Hero saved my gig last minute! Stayed open 45mins past his closing time for me to drive from Mt Shasta to Redding and pick up the only 2 18" drivers available in the area! 🙏

I walked into Mike’s music knowing what I wanted but had no idea what I needed or even how to articulate it. Mike spent well over an hour showing my wife and I several different pieces of equipment and how they all worked together. In the end not only did he build an incredible sound system for my wife and I, but he did it within the budget that we had set. I may not have left an expert in producing music but I left knowing how to set up my new equipment and when we got it home we set it up and cranked up the sound! It far exceeded our expectations. Brought in a mic cord that wasn't working. Instead of selling me a new cord he found and resoldered a bad connection for free. Great service !!!!

So helpful and even with describing what we needed over the phone he knew what it was and held it at the counter for us till we got there.
