Floating Granite Ball

Outstanding!!! Truly one of the best floating balls I’ve seen. Santa Paula really wouldn’t be the same without this marvelous attraction. I cannot overstate how much I love this granite ball. As far as granite balls go it’s it smoother than most. The water on the ball certainly adds to the smooth effect. I could stare into the smooth granite surface for hours. In fact I have, I once spent 6 hours at this beautiful ball. After 45 minutes I just became mesmerized by the beautiful ball. I have no memory of the remaining 5 hours and 15 minutes. All I wish for in life is for me to remember those moments with the ball.

Attention-getting red granite sphere floating on a layer of circulating water. I'm not sure how it works but it's very peaceful and intriguing. It's in the same park as the bronze statue of the two motorcycle cops who rode through the night to warn residents living in low lying areas after the San Francisquito dam broke and flooded the valley, killing more than 450 should.

Nice spot to stretch your legs and eat if your driving through! Neat granite ball that you can spin.

Was a fantastic find in Santa Paula! Massive granite ball that is held up by water.
I thought it was just on a spindle but you can spin the ball in any direction though it has some weight!
