Arroyo Vet and staff are amazing. Dr. Villano and Dr. Gonda (I’m sure I spelled his name wrong) are so thorough and both of them have saved a few of my dogs lives. I can’t believe the kindness and compassion they show to animals and their owners. Karen, Jackie and Brooke are so helpful. Stuart and everyone else are the best as well. I wish I could remember and list everyone but I just want to share that Arroyo is the best. Thank you Arroyo.

Caring, compassionate, and professional. I’ve used other vets in the Conejo Valley, but none compare to Arroyo Vista Animal Hospital, and especially Dr. Gonda. Every vet, every vet tech, and every staff member are the best. I know my puppy is getting the best possible care.

Love this place. Everyone is very nice and caring. DrJohn is my hero. He helped with my nearly 17 year old Schnauzer who was in CHF for 2-years. He is the real deal. He knows what he is doing and has a kindness that comes through interacting with people and pets. He truly cares and it shows. It was heartwarming to see him cuddle with my new Schnauzer. Highly recommend.

I found my visit to Arroyo Vista to be pleasant and stress-free. Every employee that I dealt with was friendly and accommodating. I called them and they gave me an appointment for my dog the same day. The veterinarian was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I feel like I can place my trust in them when it comes to my dog’s health.

Arroyo Vista is a really great place to bring your furry family members. They are professional, pleasant, helpful, and are knowledgeable in how to best treat your pet. Dr. Gonda has been helping us with our puppy. So far we are really happy with the care we are receiving. Thanks for having a great team!

My first time using this vet and my experience was great. Staff was very friendly and nice. No wait, the Doctor saw me at the time of my appointment. Place was clean. My dog seemed happy and not nervous. Doctor explained everything and has very caring with my dog. I would highly recommend going to this vet.

I really like this Vet office! My dog woke up shaking and moaning. I thought he was very sick. Dr. Michael Villano saw him the same morning. Right away Dr. suspected his back was injured, but did a full panel blood test. Bloodwork showed a very healthy dog except he must have tweaked his back (probably from jumping off the bed). He was prescribed a pain medication and my dog was feeling himself again in about 3 days.
This was his second visit to Arroyo Vista Veterinary Hospital.
The first time we saw Dr. Gonda. I would recommend either of these wonderful Doctors. Office staff are very kind and cheerful, too.

It was a very good experience . But , It made me anxious when the gal brought out my prescription and then told me she was too tired and put the wrong labels on the wrong bottles . Yikes !! Office staff was wonderful, as was the Dr. The price was out of control. I almost choked when I got my bill for one injection for nausea for my dog was $167. Wow.
Office visit , antibiotics for seven days and for nausea pills plus that injection was over $400.
That’s way more than you would get charged at urgent care for a person. I’m not quite sure what I think. I want quality care for my dog, but I also need to stay within a budget. It will be interesting to what other people think. Thanks.

All the staff were very pleasant. The appointment was right on time, they did not pressure me into doing any test and in fact told us that doing tests wouldn’t really change anything due to the age of our beloved pup. All in all a great experience. My wife was also very happy with them, when she took our other dog into them to be spayed a few months ago.

I’m new to the area and chose this vet based on great reviews. I’m picky about who cares for my Savannah cats. My initial experience was great, from the initial phone contact to my meeting with the doctor. I’m relieved to know my kitties have competent care in our new community.

I feel this review is long overdue. I am forever thankful and I appreciate the kindness, expertise, experience and care my little Lexie received. Dr. Villano and his team are absolutely amazing.
I took my little senior chihuahua to Dr. Villano right before Christmas. She needed some teeth extractions and she also had an inguinal hernia that needed repair.
From the moment we got in for her very first appointment everyone was nice and welcoming. I was so worried about my little one having surgery but when my hubby and I met Dr. Villano, I was relieved knowing my Lexie was in good hands. He explained everything in detail and took the time to answer questions and listened to my concerns.
Lexie had surgery on 12/27. I took her home that day with medications and everything was explained to me in detail by Dr. Villano and his wonderful staff.
Today, Lexie is fully recovered. She is a happy little girl and most importantly, she is healthy. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Dr. Villano and everyone at Arroyo Vista, I wouldn't take my Lexie anywhere else!

New to the area and was not too sure of an unfamiliar pet clinic.
That said I was very pleased. My dog was given great care. Got us in in a very short time. And explained what treatment he needed for an ear infection.
The clinic called this morning to check on my dog. Thank you.

I love Arroyo Vista Vet Hospital! They are responsive, caring, thorough and professional. They’re been caring for my pup since she was a baby and I am very pleased with the care she receives. Dr Gonda is wonderful!

Arroyo Vista Vet is great! Everyone is so welcoming and nice. They made sure my dog felt as safe as she could. She looks like she was trying to mimic the picture on the wall :) Just moved to the area and vetting a few places (no pun intended) :P They were very professional and I will be returning. I highly recommend them.

Easy appointment making process. Plenty of options for appointments.
They got us in right at appointment time and the vet was in within minutes!
They weren’t too personal with me but they were great with my dog!
I definitely recommend them and will definitely be back

Update 1/2/24:

We have now been here several times since 9/2023 and we still have nothing but amazing things to say about this practice. Our rescue pup is doing so well, and everyone in the office provides exceptional care and service. They make you feel like family here and they treat our pup as their own. It’s really heartwarming. Also, over the holidays, Dr. Gonda was on PTO, so we had the absolute pleasure of meeting with Dr. Villano. We were equally as impressed with him as we were with Dr. Gonda; we feel so relieved to know that our animals will be in excellent hands with multiple doctors at this practice.

The office staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, and the techs are so kind and supportive as well. I always feel as though we are thoroughly cared for here. Their passion for animals is undeniable and we cannot recommend them enough!!!

We’ve only been here once so far, but we only have good things to say!

Dr. Gonda is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind, respectful, and an excellent listener. We felt thoroughly heard by him and the rest of the staff. Everyone who helped us was truly just so pleasant and kind. We didn’t feel like we were being rushed like we have in the past at other vet offices. Everyone took the time to really help us get the right treatment for our girl. 10/10 recommend.

We have seen significant improvement with our dog’s skin condition after only a few days.

We recently rescued our pup and she had just gotten spayed and also had tons of redness and flakiness on her skin from allergies and fleas. She also had issues with her ears (she was very neglected).

The vets associated with the rescue did the best they could with limited resources, but Dr. Gonda helped our sweet girl so much. He identified right away the right meds for her and her skin began to clear up with it 24 hours; her ears look better, she’s not scratching, and she is starting to become herself. Before she came home with us, the thing was on a hamster wheel of treatment that was only just barely keeping her issues at bay. Now they’re finally truly getting better.

We have so much peace of mind and overall relief knowing she is really getting better.

Her fur was oily, and now it’s starting to feel silky soft and we haven’t even given her a bath yet!

We have been very pleased with the care Moose has received. Dr Villano is always patient and listens to our concerns. Everyone at Arroyo Vista is professional.

I raise Burmese cats. This is my preferred vet during business hours. I like Dr. Gonda; I don’t have a lot of experience with the other vets. Their hospital manager is a very cool and competent guy. He is familiar with uncommon solutions, such as melatonin implants to temporarily prevent heats in females. If we ask for something unusual, they’ll research it and not just say no. Their fees are in line with other vets in the area. If you’re an established client they’ll work you in if you have an urgent situation. My cats have never come home sick after visiting this practice. After all, sick animals go to the vet, so sanitation is important.

All the staff were very helpful. There is a very happy and open energy when walking in. Very organized and efficient. They got me in and out in 40 minutes for my first time. The Vet was amazing and even chatted to me a bit about how things were going. I felt my pup got amazing care from great people! Was referred by family and definitely will come back again.

I called on a Friday morning in hopes to get my dog in with, what I was thinking was, an ear infection. They double booked me and I was so grateful that they were able to fit me in. Her diagnosis was a ruptured ear drum. Dr Gonda is the best! So gentle and caring. I even received a call the next day checking in on Roxy. They may be a bit pricey but, IMO, worth every penny! Thank you Dr Gonda and your wonderful staff for all that you do!
