Rio Del Norte Elementary School

Excellent school, although a little behind on grades. My kids have gone here for most of their elementary school careers and both have done incredibly well. The school is newer so it has a lot of new technology. While they don't seem to make the average needed to pass everyone, my kids have rated at the top of the nation in their grades, so the potential for learning is definitely there.

I've been to this school when I was younger from Kindergarten to 5/6th grade! It was wonderful! Right now, I'm in high school and I always walk around admiring my childhood school,the kids happily playing. I made so many friends there. Come to this school,You will not be disappointed! The teachers and staff are super friendly!

I love this place because I go to this school and I learned a lot

I loved this place because it has 8 Tetherball Courts. There is 2 of them near the Playground. And 2 near the Basketball court. Also There is three near the Fifth and Preschool classes are. Another reason why I love this Place because I get to learn a lot.

The only thing I hate about this school is I have seen so many people in their cars blocking the pickup area outside of the school when they are trying to pickup their kids. And their parents encourage their kids to not use the crosswalk when they are trying to cross the road.

Pick up time for kids are horrible at this school. Some parents likes to double park to pick up their kids and blocking the ones that are actually parked and ready to go. There are NO clear instructions for parents where to pick up their kids without blocking oncoming traffic. The kids are sometimes being encouraged by their parent to cross the street without using the cross walk its so dangerous. Its so heartbreaking police is being called at this school several times in order to enforce traffic.
