I have used Safety 1st three times so far to transport my dad to and from his medical appointments. Ayreen and Gamil are dependable, responsive and professional. This company provides outstanding service! I broke both of my ankles & could not walk. They’ve handled my pick ups and drop offs without a hitch (plus i have stairs). They waited with me at my doctor’s appointment & personally took me to xray & into the office. It was nice knowing they were there waiting & i did not have to call for pick up. Dealing with other agencies in Ventura was a nightmare! Thank you Ayreen for your excellent service.

These folks are excellent. Friday afternoon before Easter and we must move our father from skilled nursing back to the hospital. Called services for two hours and could not find a gurney or wheelchair transport. Then I reached Safety 1st and Ayreen asked me which one I wanted, they could do both that evening. They were exactly on time, waited for a couple of nurse actions to complete, then went in to load the patient. They were very good with this elderly person, careful, told him what they were doing. Equipment looked great and well cared for. Their vehicle was a minivan modified for a gurney and looked spotless and professional. Loading was efficient and smooth. The drive to the hospital was professional. I really appreciated that though this was a non-emergency transport, they still drove to the ambulance entrance to the Emergency Room, which bypasses the ‘check in’ entrance. When the ER Doctor asked about the illness Ayreen simply called me and handed over her phone. The Doctor was great and our father was moved into the ER to be seen. Irene followed up and the entire process could not have been better, and a huge relief. They exceeded expectations and I will ask for them again.

I found Safety 1st Medical Transport via a Google search. I checked out their Yelp page to make sure they were a legitimate company, and then made a call and left a message. Ayreen got back to me and we confirmed the job that evening for the following Monday in two days. Ayreen owns the business and was our driver that morning. I believe she has a partner, as well. Her van was clean, looked and felt safe, and she put my nervous grandma, who was requiring transportation in her wheel chair, at ease. To me it felt like we were traveling with a trusted family member. Her van had three seats available for people to travel with those they care for. Ayreen waited for us to finish up, and was ready to take us back home quickly. She made our stressful morning easier. I am grateful to have found and supported her business.

If it was possible to give a 10 star rating, I would. I don't know what I'd have done had I not had the great fortune to be transported by Safety First Medical Transport. My initial experience was so extraordinary that I've requested their service whenever possible. They can always be counted on. They're always on time, even early, and arrive with a smile. My husband needed transport from home to an Assisted Living Community. His immobility is new and I forgot to schedule transport prior to the move date. I called Safety First and they were able to accommodate us the same day and even get him to the facility prior to the cut off time for new patients!
Gamil, one of the transporters, even helped me pack my husbands belongings into the vehicle! His partner Aaryn offered kind support and comforting words to my husband as he was a bit anxious with the move.
I would recommend this team for anyone needing transportation for a loved one. My husband was treated like a person and not just another body to move.

Safety 1st has been there for us since my husband had emergency heart surgery and was in bed for over 40 days. He was weak and I could not take him to dialysis myself. He is transported by gurney and Safety 1st is one of the very few who can take a 6'1" big man! Ayreen has been so patient and professional, especially when unexpected delays come up! They are considerate of my husband's needs and asks for updates about his health. They really care! They have come through for us on unexpected short notice for travel to nursing home from ER. and was there next morning to take him to outpatient surgery. We have been lucky to have such wonderful service. ❤
