PLEASE READ! BE AWARE!!!
I wish I can add a 0 star to this school, but unfortunately I cannot. I ,myself am a fully developed 21 year old college student who attend Brekke from 2nd-6th grade. I loved this school to an extent where I honestly considered Brekke my second home ,but not till i had Mrs. Benfatto for 3rd grade. This lady doesn't deserve to be a teacher or even teach! During my 3rd year of attending, my mother died of cancer! Numerous times I would brake down in tears, till one day i remember sitting in our classroom across from her and she decided to call my tears "lagrimas de cocodrilo'' which means FALSE TEARS. I remember her looking Into my eyes and saying it in such a harsh way. She is beyond lucky I didn't know who to go to, how to stand up for myself, or how to stop her from being such a negative teacher while I was going through my childhood depression after losing my mother.
I do recommend this school, but definetly not her as a teacher . Again be aware of her and I make this experience public, so parents can be informed by individuals who attended Brekke Elementry and encountered mistreatment by staff.
