I am so happy my Husband enchanted me with a visit to this wonderful bistro. I sipped on a latte and indulged in a bacon cheddar and jalapeño scone. I enjoyed the latte and its smooth… creamy goodness. The flavor of the latte was consistent all the way to the bottom of my cup. The scone was warm… buttery and absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed his latte. He enjoyed his blueberry muffin. It was moist, fresh and delicious. The man at the counter was kind and friendly. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

My wife and I drove here especially to get the beignets. They're delicious and they're pretty big. If you order them make sure you get some strawberry jam with them and also some syrup. People were very nice great atmosphere and will definitely be back

There are high ceilings and elegant framing highlighting a full bar, coffeeshop and bakery. Here, the beignets are hot and tasty. I recommend the chips, grits and Nashville chicken. The theme is Louisiana style, new American cuisine.

The service is amazing. The staff are friendly, and move with such efficiency

The food is fantastic. We ordered two versions of the egg benedict, and it was a top contender for the best! Soft shell crab or avocado and shrimp, can't go wrong with either

Sat at the bar for lunch because there was a wait for tables. Happy we did because Leo took care of us. Food was delicious. Husband had shrimp and grits, I had the Croque Madam sandwich and an iced coffee. Pastry offerings looked fabulous, and we took some to go. Beautiful place with a historic and locals vibe to it. Definitely coming back and for breakfast next time!

This place is a gem & it's easy to see why it's so popular. Great food, great service... some of the best coffee I've ever had...EVER! Can't wait to come back to try the beignets!

My husband and I found this place because we stayed at the Glen Tavern Inn (check out my review there). It was a very quick 3 min walk so that was nice.
We got there just before the morning rush too. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
We ordered:
- lattes (one regular and one snicker doodle) - both were absolutely amazing!
- beignets - warm, fresh, amazing! You have to try them. You can order 3, 6, or 12.
- Pain Perdu (French toast) - good but very small. Smaller than what I expected. I ordered 1 slice because I thought it was going to be big. Not worth $8.50 in my opinion, but everything else was definitely worth the price.
Now for the most unexpected fantastically delicious dish.....
- PULLED PORK BENEDICT - I cannot tell you enough how incredible this was. Every bite was like tasting it again for the first time. Mouth-watering and very savory. It's jalapeño cornbread topped with slow braised pulled pork, 2 poached eggs, and a creole hollandaise sauce that was unlike anything I had ever tasted. Soooo Flippin Good! Ya'll! This was to die for!! It also comes with grits or Creole potatoes. We got the grits. They were good.
The total for this bill was around $65 so be prepared to spend a pretty penny but the service, the food, and the atmosphere are priceless.
They also have a small bakery next to the coffee area so you can grab a pastry and coffee to go if you don't have a long time to sit and enjoy.
We'll definitely be going back later for cookies and pastries.

Such a great find! The service was quick and friendly. We sat down for lunch. Everything we tried was delicious. They had several great vegetarian options. The cafe/bakery side also looked so good that we had to take some treats to go. Those were great as well. We will definitely return for breakfast and to try other baked goods.

Cute restaurant and good service here. Very crowded and could be a wait, indoor and outdoor seating available. Most enjoyed all of the bakery items, we ordered a variety and all were delicious. Big servings of food for the plated dishes for good prices. Coffees and chai latte here is just ok, large portions, non dairy milk available. One plate of food we ordered was forgotten about before they closed up so we didn’t get to try the shrimp and grits which was a bummer.

Who'd of thought we'd find incredible Cajun food in Santa Paula, CA. The chicory late was scrumptious. A chicory coffee with brown sugar syrup and milk. My daughter had the Croque-Monsieur; a ham and cheese open faced sandwich and a cup of seafood chowder that was delicious. I had a cup of shrimp 🍤 and grits with a side garden salad. The small garden salad was a generous portion and the balsamic dressing spot on. I absolutely loved the cup of shrimp and grits. Savory bacon, spinach and onions sautéed with the shrimp and creamy grits. I could have eaten a bowl, but wanted to save room for the luscious beignets for dessert. It was a very nice food experience for us. The service was good. Our table was wobbly and they fixed it right away. Our server was attentive and timely. We sat outside and just had an overall great experience. We went shopping afterwards. The cute boutiques and thrift shops on Main Street are lovely. Such great finds.

The food and the service are top notch! The Pain Perdu (French toast) is made from fresh French bread and is amazing! So are the beignets and pretty much everything’s else! Also, if you’re lucky enough to get her, Lea is the perfect server!

Sat at the bar for a mid afternoon lunch/ dinner. Great food. Excellent service and drinks from Leo.

I can't believe I can't recall the name of my cocktail, it was that good: sazerac, vermouth, Benedictine - new favorite 🥃

Deviled eggs with arugula and pickled onion pleasantly surprised and delicious.

Cup of shrimp and grits for gluten free treat. BLT salad would have been even better (for me) on iceberg.

Amazing chicory coffee latte to finish it off.

Bar chairs a bit uncomfortable. Footrest bar would definitely help.

Otherwise, really great visit. Highly recommend.

This is my favorite restaurant in Santa Paula (and there are lots of good ones). I visit about three times a year and always drop by Rabalais. Great cajun/creole food. I recommend the breakfast shrimp and grits with a runny fried egg. The red beans and rice with anduille sausage is great. The place
Has a wonderful old-time feel like a bistro from the early 1900s. They have a full bar and great espresso and pastries too.

One of my go-to places in Santa Paula. The service is always great, they have an amazing coffee selection using locally sourced beans, and a bunch of homemade pastries/baked goods (and even beignets). All of their Po Boys and Croques are amazing. The serving sizes are huge and the prices are fair, definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Delicious food, absolutely fantastic both the bone-in pork chops (so juicy and tender) and the Jambalaya. Fried calamari appetizer was one of the best if not the best tasting calamari I ever had.
