Visiting Angels

Visiting Angels was such a blessing for us. Everyone we dealt with was kind and understanding; my mother felt comfortable and safe and so did we. Though my mom passed away after only a couple of visits from Visiting Angels, we are so grateful to have found them while she was alive.

Visiting Angels cared for my uncle for three months, adapting to changes in his schedule more than once. The caregivers were gems! They each bonded with my uncle in their own way. We felt safe knowing a visiting angel was with him. The caregivers provided phone updates as needed. They made sure to answer his phone when he didn't so he never missed a call from a loved one. And they were great sports in watching a LOT of western movies!

Visiting Angels made such a difference for my Uncle after my Aunt passed away two years ago. He had three different Visiting Angels and all of them were wonderful. My wife and I nicknamed them Charlie’s Angels. They gave him daily human contact, helped him grocery shop and just made him feel like they cared about him. Five stars, highly recommended.

My family was extremely happy with the care that our mother received from Visiting Angels. Their caregivers and the office staff went out of their way to address a wide range of needs, including a global pandemic, during the two years that our mother was in their care. We especially appreciated the compassionate approach that filled in gaps when needed and addressed changes in our mother's needs. I would highly recommend their services for other people who want to keep their family member in their home for as long as possible.

We have a dear friend at the Veterans Home who has been moved to the side of the home for more care and can’t go out with us for lunch anymore. We learned that the Visiting Angels can take him out and we can meet them at the restaurant, so that is what we have been doing. Brenda, our “Angel” is such a sweetie! Our friend really likes her and she is a breath of fresh air for all of us! We appreciate our friends at “Visiting Angels” very much!

I want to thank the staff and Debbie, my worker who helped me in so many ways while I recovered from a major eye surgery. She provided caring support while respecting my need to be as independent as I could. She was always punctual for times and made herself available if emergencies should arise.
Debbie also helped to provide emotional support, as I did struggle with some depression right after the surgery.
I am very grateful to Debbie for her gentle manner and kindness. I am glad that Visiting Angels is in my area. I highly recommend their services!I
