Beautiful place to hike with lots of trails, some steep, and others pretty flat.

This is my go-to for exercising dogs, a relaxing hike or trail run. This trail system is so versatile for any ability level or choice of recreation; even more now that the flats wetlands have been offered. This is such a nature infusion right out the back door!

A great local conservation area where you can take various trails and see spectacular views. You can see local flora and fauna. Parts of the trail overlook the Saltese flats and if you get near the water tower you can see liberty lake. I enjoy local areas that you can hike.

This is a great place to hike, fairly easy, but awesome views from the top, including of Spokane Valley all the way west to west Spokane, Mica Peak, Liberty Lake etc. Great place to get out and exercise.

This place is beautiful! With various difficulty trails available it makes views of the entire valley possible at nearly any ability level! Go straight up the mountain or take easy switch backs, this hiking area has it all!

Great trails to run, hike, and mountain bike on. I went for a trail run since it was my first visit. I wanted to check it out for mountain biking as well. I think it will also be a great mountain bike ride. Lots of good views around the top. Not many people up there, although it was a little cold. Probably busier in the nicer weather:)

Came here with gravel bikes unsure if we'd be able to ride the trails without popping tires, but this place was perfect for our gravel bikes! Even my 28 mm tires with tread made for road biking did okay. Little slippage, but not bad. My partner's Salsa Journeyman equipped with wider tires with a little gnarlyer tread handled it like a champ.

Had a nice walk out here with my dog and my sister. Nice trails and adequate parking. Lots of nature. I didn’t get to the new visitors center there. Lots of Woolley caterpillars out that day.

I have lived in Spokane for 11 years and it amazes me that an avid outdoorsman like me is still finding new places to explore. What makes Spokane special is the fact that you can get in the car and drive 20 minutes in any direction and find somewhere spectacular. Dishman Hills, Finch Arboretum, Little Spokane River, Bowl and Pitcher, Mt Spokane and Mineral Ridge have been some of my go tos, and today found this by getting in the car and going, no destination in mind. Found a trail that started off easy and gradual, then found myself at the bottom of a huge hill with 2 options to climb. Long meandering switchbacks, or straight up! For the sake of time I chose the straight up option and boy was it fun! Highly recommend. Spokane’s motto is: “Near Nature, Near Perfect.” Makes sense!

Stopped here just after sunset to watch the moonrise and watch ducks and geese flying into the pond to spend the night. Very nice evening.
