Travelodge by Wyndham Redding CA

We stayed here in a room with kitchenette for 3 days and had a pleasant experience. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Area is safe and reasonably quiet during nights. Front desk staff were good and available round the clock. Only concern I had is, the ceiling is not that height (may be 6.5 ft) and had fire sprinklers installed, so people has to be careful with them.

My wife and I have stayed at this Travelodge yearly going on 10 years. The rooms are clean and recently updated … perfectly adequate for an overnight stay.. Good breakfast every morning. I’ve never seen the complaints like the ones recently on these reviews. The husband wife managers are courteous, honest and very pleasant to deal with. Just call ahead and your’ll likely get a fair rate. Much easier than registering on the 800 number with Wyndham.

We decided to stay here for a night as part of a road trip from Sonoma County up through Tule Lake and into parts of Oregon. We had some issues booking through our preferred third party, not receiving a confirmation of booking until nearly 45 minutes later which resulted in an unintentional double booking (and both were allegedly non-refundable).

We got to the service window around 11pm and spoke to a very nice gal who quickly saw we had two bookings and asked if we wanted two rooms. We explained the situation, and as it turned out she intentionally did not charge through our second attempt before we arrived, in case it was an accident. She cancelled our extra room and that was that. Remarkable service from the get-go. She didn't have to do that for us!

Our room was a second floor single bed king suite, and we also learned that it was one with an additional kitchenette. We didn't book a kitchenette so that was also a pleasant surprise. Our linens were clean, the bathroom was functional (vanity separate from the shower/tub and toilet) and the room was spacious and pre-cooled (maybe a given for most, but I've stayed at motels where your walk in and it feels like someone left the oven on).

Most everything else was as expected, which for the price ($102 after fees through id90) had certainly passed my expectations. I'm most thankful for the awesome service we received. On our return, we will likely be staying again. Thank you!

The kitchenette room was perfect for my family during our stay. River trail & park was just a walk away for the kids to play. Will stay again!

My parents felt safe staying there. They liked the way it was as far as cleanliness. Super simple To reserve a room over the phone, my parents also felt very Comfortable talking to the front desk. Is mom and pops said they were kind Great place to stay for parents.

The staff is amazing, the room was clean and comfortable! Quiet location. Would definitely stay again!!!!

Sunny was a hoot. She was very welcoming and said OMG your baby is beautiful. I had my service dog with me. She was training a young lady and was very clear with her instructions and very professional with her trainee. Sunny was very cheerful and talkative. She explained what was available for breakfast and the times that it was available. She absolutely was professional with my Oreo.
In the morning Heather was at the desk. Very pleasant woman. She also asked if she could pet my service dog.
The rooms were clean. I originally thought there were no blankets but I was wrong. There were comfy blankets. The property was clean and I felt safe there. The usual signage concerning don't leave things in the cars were there. Like I said I felt comfortable. Walked my dog when we got home from the concert.
Breakfast was available and it was actually pretty good. Eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, juice, waffles both mini and large. Make your own. Butter and other things were available. The area to eat was clean.

Friendly staff. Nice property. Limited parking for vehicles with trailers but serviceable. Definitely on my list for next pass through the area.

Everything was great with this place, except that the airconditioner was too loud and we did not sleep well. They offer a great breakfast too. (that's rare)

Room with kitchenette was perfect for my stay while working a few miles away. Staff was friendly and helpful at every turn.

For what we paid and what we got- it surpassed all our expectations. An amazing price to delivery ratio. It’s a modest lodging accommodation that was incredibly well maintained! Our room surpassed our expectation’s, the front staff were attentive, welcoming and kind. Overall, this stay was very pleasant. Highly highly recommend!

The staff is absolutely amazing! From Sunny who checked me in, to Megan, who Sunny was training, to Heather, who was at the front desk in the morning. We had to stay longer than originally planned due to car issues, and everyone was very helpful. If you need a clean, inexpensive place to stay in Redding that has an exceptional staff, I cannot recommend this Travelodge enough!

We were traveling from Alabama and this was our last nights stop before getting home to Oregon. The service was top notch and this is by far the nicest Travel lodge I have ever stayed at! The staff upgraded us to a suite so we would have more room because we had two dogs with us! So unexpected and nice😊 The bed was cozy and the Thai restaurant within walking distance had delicious food too!

This hotel is one of my favorite hotels. The exterior looks like a castle, making it easy to see and inviting for kid's lol. The rooms are big, and the staff is really good about checking every room for cleanliness and being kind and respectful to the guests. If an issue arises, they are fast and efficient to get it solved. I would recommend this hotel every time

Clean grounds, clean lobby and clean room! Amazing staff that are genuinely kind and happy. Our room is amazing- spacious with kitchenette! Beds are clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean, hot water and nice pressure. The pool was great as well for my kids! So happy to have stayed here.

Enjoyable location. Decent pricing (I used Travelocity, but still great) & nice staff. Checking in was easy & the rooms were very comfortable.

Wow! Where do I start,? The customer service at the front desk was so accommodating and truly kind. I felt like they genuinely care...and they do! When I got to my room I was so wonderfully surprised how fresh and spotlessly clean the room and bath and bedding...well, just everything! I had a very comfortable sleep as well. I have to travel through Redding quite often...so I plan to stay here every time...This hotel has no down sides...ALL 5 star ALL the way! Thank you!

Extra spacious, comfortable, nicely furnished room with king size bed. Air conditioned, pet friendly with attractive faux wood floor, full kitchenette with stove and oven, microwave and minifridge, and sink, as well as glasses, utensils, dish soap, dish towels, etc. Pull out sofa, table and 2 chairs, extra large flat screen tv, large closet area, 2 night stands. Plentiful outlets. Very small grass area for pets. Only negatives were toilet was lower than normal and hot water not as plentiful as we like, but enough for 10 minute shower. Shower head was fine for us, but likely a little low for tall folks. Front desk staff was top notch! Very happy, will stay again.

Very friendly office staff, clean, great price.

A truly wheelchair accessible room!! The staff was wonderful here. I was pulling a small U-Haul and had to park on the street, but felt perfectly safe. I can't say enough about the great staff here! Since this is a halfway point between home and our son's will be staying here again even though it's not next to the freeway.
