El Bueno Mex Grill

Today we went to a new Mexican restaurant in town, El Bueno.. We were pleased to see that they had tortas (a sub-style sandwich) on the menu. I ordered the Al Pastor Torta, and my spouse had the Bueno Fries with shredded beef. We also got the chips and salsa appetizer.

The torta was incredibly yummy; perfect from bread to the pastor meat filling. As you can see from the photo, I had the lettuce, tomato, and guacamole left out, and they added avocado 🥑 for me so there were no onions in my sandwich. That creamy avocado flavor blended perfectly with the spice of al pastor, refried beans and queso in the torta!

My spouse's dish was also reported satisfying, although I noticed the meat, cheese and beans had been pretty much high-graded, leaving a layer of fries. Next time, we'll probably order two tortas. Because there WILL be a next time, and soon.

Our go-to pit stop on the way to Saint George. Delicious, fresh, and authentic. And, always really great service! Waiting for food here takes about the same time as fast food chains but tastes significantly better. So glad we found this place! Tacos are always a good choice.

Delicious food! We got the Quesa Birria and street tacos. Meat was very tender and filled with flavor! Will definitely be back!

The food was amazing! The quesa birria is worth the price. Also ordered a side of rice and beans and loved it. All good things here.

Highly recommend! They are truly “The Good.” I’ve been very impressed with the service and the food quality. Always served hot, tasty and fairly priced. I also appreciate that all the employees wear their masks consistently and correctly.

Absolutely worth stopping in. The food is delicious. Decent prices. We got quesa birrias and 2 of them with rice and beans was plenty filling. $10.50 ish a person. I think the name of the place changed but its in the same place. Stop and check it out if you have the time for good food.

So good it great! Better than the others I'm from California and this place feels like home and the food is just the best. The music is perfect the food is perfection and the service is customer quality at its finest !!!!

This place is so good! Way better than Cafe Rio and Costa Vida! More authentic and delicious! I got the Bueno nachos. Was not disappointed! And the owners are so friendly!!

This is the Best Authentic Mexican Restaurant in town! I love the Bueno Burrito and I get it just about every time. Make sure to get a churro or Choco Flan as well!

We chose this restaurant based on the reviews of others. We were totally pleased. My husband had Asada tacos and I had Asada burrito and they were both excellent. The service was quick and friendly. What a delight. We will most definitely put this on our radar when we return to the area. Excellent food

Awesome place to eat! The staff is super friendly and the portions are a good size. Really good, authentic food. My husband would probably come back everyday for their rice and beans if he could. Definitely recommend!

Authentic Mexican food at it's best. The food is fantastic, and personal service by the owners is extremely helpful and friendly. It doesn't look like much from the outside, they haven't finished the remodel from the previous tenants. Don't let this deter you, it is an excellent place for a quick lunch or dinner

We were driving through on vacation and at the recommendation of a local resident of Cedar City, stopped here and were very pleased with El Bueno. The service was great, the food was even better. Very well prepared. Flavors were not overwhelming and very nice sized portions.

The food was fantastic and the service was even better. I had the nachos and my husband had the Chile Verde plate, both phenomenal. We finished off our meal with some fried ice cream. Highly recommend!

The birria tacos were very good as was the carne asada burrito. The meat was wonderful, well seasoned and had no gristle. The restaurant was very clean, masks worn and impressively, when we asked for lids for our food the employee who had just been at the cash register went to the sink, washed his hands thoroughly, dried them and then handed us the lids. Great food and good sanitation is a win for sure.

Our family just had lunch there. Great prices with a lot of food given for the price. My husband had a burrito & I had mini tacos (street tacos). My son had nachos, and a huge portion was given. EVERYTHING was tasty! We'll definitely be back!

This food is hands down AMAZING! It is the best Mexican food. I love the regular tacos the best! Service is great, ordering is sometimes hard because of the language barrier but it is worth it!
