It was nice, quiet and comfortable and clean. The price was $134 for 2 beds, not bad for being Chrisman Eve with no reservation, across the street from a restaurant bar, and a casino. Highly recommend

Extremely comfortable! From the carpet to the bed, it was wonderful! The staff was really friendly! You might have a little walk to your room, but worth it. It was quite and no one bothered me.

I stay at this hotel once a month. I get a king bed room, which is very comfortable. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is clean. Shower in a bathtub. Towels are medium thick. 2 sinks, one in shower room, one in front of room! Free wi-fi which works okay but not great. Ate breakfast at the restaurant, which is off a menu, not buffet style, which is nice. There is a parking lot section that is mostly blocked off because it currently has large storage boxes because of some room remodeling (like size of a 18 wheeler trailer, and several of them). Parking will be better when that work is done. But the hotel is great and I will be staying again.

Super friendly staff, realllly tasty restaurant and a very nice room.

This hotel is in a great location and a great price. We stayed here because we were going to lake shasta to rent a pontoon boat. It was only about a 15 min drive to the marina! The breakfast is not included because it is a full-service restaurant. The room was nice, comfortable and clean. The building was cool in the heat of summer. We disnt use it but it appeared to have a nice pool and hottub. We will definitely be back!

Not sure if its sections of hotel or they revamped it all but our stay was wonderful. Room was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable with tons of pillows-love tons of pillows! Restaurant food was very tasty as well. Overall a great place to crash for the night.

Very comfortable room and location. Updated rooms. Breakfast was also good.
Only downside is the toilet is too low for standard height and above people

Stopped through on our way home to Washington. Front desk was very friendly. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. The bartender Megan was a total sweetheart. The young man working with her was very helpful and recommended things to do around town. They both are very genuine people. The rooms could be updated. Also our room was pretty far from the front entrance we had lots of luggage to carry... we were offered by many employees including the restaurant staff to help... so that made up for the rooms being outdated. I would stay again. I also recommend having a drink and eating dinner in the restaurant. Staff is amazing.

Room was very clean front desk staff was incredibly friendly even though I checked in at 11 o’clock at night. These are the reasons why I continue to stay here when I can. Huge shout out to Ruby thank you so much for the help supporting military service members and making it an enjoyable stay.

What a delight for weary travelers. We stayed here twice. Once on our way to our destination and once on our way home. Both times the staff was pleasant, the rooms we're clean and comfortable and we felt welcomed.
Two inconveniences, no elevator, however the stairs we're not too high, and breaksfast in the dining room was a bit expensive. The dining room staff need a course in friendliness. They weren't rude, but they also didn't smile, seem enthusiastic about helping, and just seemed miserable in their job. The housekeeping staff was so nice and accommodating and very professional.
Over all the experience was pleasant and I'd definitely stay there again.

As a truck driver, I am in a new hotel almost every night. I'm also a very harsh critic. This hotel and restaurant earned every star. While it doesn't have an expansive menu or liquor collection, the Braided Main certainly doesn't skimp on portions or value. The hotel staff was kind, pleasant and courteous. The outdoor pool and adjacent outdoor spa were quiet, very clean and very warm and comfortable, even in February. The room smelled nice, with adequate sheets, towels, toiletries and the usual amenities. Tasty coffee! Great tea! I would recommend this to friends and strangers.

CLEAN ROOMS! GREAT SERVICE! VERY FRIENDLY STAFF! I STAY HERE TWICE A WEEK FOR WORK AND NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL IF YOUR VISITING THE REDDING AREA.

It was great! Clean. Place is huge!! We only stayed to sleep. So glad we did, though. It was the only place I could find that didn't allow pets. And staff was super friendly. Next time we'll try the bar and restaurant!

Enjoyed the room. We got home and found that her jewelry was missing. They must have taken the jewelry when they cleaned the room the first day. Because the next day we left

I was a frazzled stressed out mess due to RV breakdowns in extreme heat when we limped into Redding California.

Diana and Nicole at the front desk are two of the most kind and gracious Hotel Professionals I have ever encountered. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and we rested for a few hours at the pool where our littlest one lost a tooth. Diana must have sent a text to the Tooth Fairy because she ended up leaving a letter for our little one. She was delighted.

Already having a great experience here. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The shuttle was great they where very friendly and polite. I don’t see why there is so many low ratings. Don’t ever go off rating check out the place yourself. Pool is very maintain and clean. Rooms are great very clean and detailed. Ac blows super cold and it’s pretty hot out here so that’s a plus with the AC. I have zero complaints keep up the great work.

Had one of the best stays in Redding while staying at this Holiday Inn hotel. It was convenient off I-5 and the staff were amazing! Truly made me feel like a welcome guest and that made my stay even that much better.
Rooms were clean and had everything I needed while staying at this hotel for almost a week.
Restaurant and bar were also a nice addition to having access to. Great food and service all around.
