Jacob Cohen, owner of Dreadlocks Denver, has been my dreadlock specialist for 4 years (and counting)! He created my dreads using the crochet method so as to avoid the use of rubber bands and unnecessary products. Throughout my dreadlock journey, Jacob has gone above and beyond to ensure that my expectations are exceeded; he hears and values my vision, communicates kindly and openly, and works meticulously from start to finish. Additionally, I love that Jacob is a passionate cosmetologist with an eye for color! I really cannot recommend Dreadlocks Denver highly enough - it is by far the best one-stop shop for natural hairstyles in the Denver area!!

You can rest assured that what ever hair type you have Jacob will work with it, and do an amazing job. Jacob heard my desires and concerns and made sure to ask if certain things where perfect as we went along, such as my desired size of my dreads. This made me feel at ease through out the process and everything turned out spectacular and as desired. Apart from Jacob and Zascha's talented work, they made the appointment comfortable and enjoyable. It was pleasant getting my dreads installed due to the wonderful atmosphere created at the studio. It felt like time flew by. For the first time in a long time I can say I'm looking forward to my next hair appointment to get my locks touched up. After my dreads where installed I was given a very clear and thorough care sheet for my locks. Everything exceeded my expectations.

Very pleased with the whole process. They were able to get me in due to a cancellation. He was able to do my root maintenance in two hours and he did a fantastic job. Also shaved up my neck and ears where I've got a small undercut. I started my locs at home and there's just no comparison with how well he's able to do the roots. It feels like he really strengthened them while being able to pull in almost all of the flyaway hairs. I anticipate going back every 6 months or so, depending on when he can squeeze me in. I definitely see why there's demand. Thank you all very much!

Jacob is absolutely amazing! He helped get my dreads looking fresh & healthy again, & he is so easy to talk to (which is important when you spend hours at a time with your stylist). He pays close attention to detail & sincerely listens to any concerns I have. I would definitely recommend him!

Amazing people! Jacob and his wife run this cute place decorated with plants, making me feel: if they can care for plants that well, they can have my hair. I have been nervous about letting people do my dread because my hair is getting thin and dry with the age. I wanted a single dread on the side of my head, and since it’s so short, I asked for and extension until it grew long enough to be on its own. The match was better than I expected, and positioned so perfectly that let’s me do whatever I want with the rest of my mane. His patience with me was spectacular. Thumbs up!

I drive all the way from New Mexico to see Zascha. She takes her time doing my dreadlock maintenance. Both Jacob and Zascha are exceptionally welcoming, knowledgeable, and have incredible energy. The studio is clean, light, bright, and relaxing. Trust them with your dreads!

Service is always so great. The atmosphere is relaxing and I have never had a bad experience.

The atmosphere is awesome and the decor is inviting. You won't feel the time pass because Jacob is a great conversationist. If you're looking to get your dreads done in an all natural way with no chemicals then this is the place for you. Jacob's crochet hook method is amazing and creates flawless dreads. 10/10 would recommend.

Jacob Cohen is one of the best and most passionate dreadlocks stylist there is, he cares about everyone of his clients and just wants to see a big smile on a persons face when he’s done with his work, He’s always going above and beyond for his clients no matter what, his method of crocheting is amazing so you don’t have to worry about other unnecessary things , he communicates so well and a kind spoken person, his work is unbelievably great, definitely one of the best shops for all your needs , i highly recommend this shop...
