Heather Piechowski, the owner of Genuine Auto Repair, is professional, knowledgeable, honest, and passionate about car maintenance and repair. At Genuine Auto Repair, I also feel like I, the customer, matter and my automotive needs take priority.

I have five demanding schedules to juggle, and I didn’t feel like my vehicle was safe to take everyone where they need to go.

Genuine Auto Repair worked fast to fix my car and get it in safe and good working condition. Heather also took the time to inform me on the signs, in addition to the warning light, that indicated trouble. I really appreciate that.

The Family friendly car care place. Its the first time I have ever been given anything besides a bill to hang on my refrigerator, not to mention the suspension replacement is absolutely better than it ever was brand new.

Over the past 16 years I have been taking my fairly used and sometimes abused vehicles to several of the other independently owned and operated mechanics around Littleton with varying amounts of success and honesty.

Everything on the list that she recommended actually needed repair and the hourly rate charged did not seem excessive nor the amount of hours.

Genuine Auto Repair did an excellent, fast job for me with brakes, fluids, filters, etc. Heather was so nice, and helped me decide which things I should fix now and which could wait for later. I appreciated her helping me figure out what was best for me rather than just trying to maximize profit. I'll definitely be a return customer :)

Heather and John are fantastic and run a true, family owned small business. I brought my vehicle to them after not having been to a shop for service in quite some time, and they not only inspected everything to give me a full report, but also gave me a full rundown of costs and priorities so I could plan for upcoming needs. They worked exceptionally hard to get my car back to me on time, even staying late and being available outside of their posted shop hours for me to pick it up between a busy work schedule. They were transparent and very communicative about my car, and I felt like a friend after having work done! If you are looking for a mechanic shop that cares about you and will be honest and upfront with you, this is the place to go. 10/10 for everything!

Like many people, I try to fix my own vehicles as much as possible. I had been chasing an overheating problem on my Jeep Wrangler and John and Heather were able to correctly diagnose a faulty aftermarket thermostat that was opening too late.

Anyone who has worked on Chrysler products knows that genuine Mopar thermostats for a 3.6 pentastar are practically unobtainium right now and Heather had the foresight to order a handful of them months ago to keep in stock.

If I’m remembering my bill correctly, they include a 3yr/36k mile warranty on their repairs, which is exceptional. However, I wish they’d allow customers in some cases to forego the warranty and bring in their own parts—not talking about bottom barrel rock auto, but OE/Spicer type stuff.

To be perfectly honest, I had some sticker shock at the price of the parts, but I don’t use shops often so perhaps that’s just my inexperience with outsourcing repair work. But still, I am happy to leave a five star review because they correctly diagnosed my Jeep, were honest about a potential issue that it thankfully wasn’t, and I’m happy driving the vehicle again, which is the most important part to me.

Quality work and parts used, they fixed sub par work from another mechanic and addressed what I thought was a break issue and was a actually lower control arm problems. Considering I had set the appointment for just one problem they fixed both in a reasonable amount of time

Heather and her husband clearly care about providing an honest, high quality, and affordable auto repair business. They were thorough and transparent, and really helped explain where costs were coming from and what made the most sense from a consumer perspective.

I'd been to nearby shops in the area prior to finding Genuine. These shops had failed to mention that the estimate provided was likely very low, and that halfway through the repair probably would have called to ask for more money due to the risk of complexity they never mentioned up front.

Had to get a lot of repairs done on my vehicle, they were great! They diagnosed the vehicle, got the parts, and kept me updated throughout the whole process! It took a while but as to be expected in the automotive world there are unforeseen obstacles! They are friendly and overall genuine and do amazing work. Highly Recommend!

I am Genuinely impressed with this place of business!
My wife and I are new to the Littleton area and so I called 8 different places and simply asked for a quote on a fully synthetic oil change, and tire rotation. of the 8 locations I called, Genuine Auto Repair was the second lowest price. I am SO thankful I decided to choose them over the cheaper option. I have never had so much faith in a car shop so quickly! There is no pressure to do any sort of service or maintenance on your vehicle. They will speak to you plainly and they never became impatient with me, or any other customers while I was there. Heather, one of the owners, actually sat down, free of charge and went through paperwork of my recent purchase from a dealership to see what I am covered for under my purchased warranties. The conclusion that we both came to, was that it would save me money to not have oil changes in her shop for the duration of the warranty. She was not shy about saying the best option for my particular scenario, with my vehicle, is go to a competitor. They way I see it, Heather saved me $700 by helping me to better understand the fine print of my dealership warranty. Because of this GENUINE HONESTY, I will be bringing my second vehicle (with no warranty) to Genuine Auto repair for all service and repairs for the foreseeable future. I can also say that after the duration of my 48 month dealership warranty expires on my first vehicle, they have more than earned my business for that vehicle. I will be recommending this place to all who ask my opinion! As far as I can tell, they are experts, and they are genuine.
On a side note, you have a chance of seeing an adorable baby, and/or a puppy when going to this place. I am thankful for Genuine Auto Repair!
