The food service industry has an overabundance of ancillary services, most of which fall well short of the expectations and claims made for how that they can improve your business.

RSI has been a rare exception. RSI has been absolutely critical to the day-to-day operations, long-term goal planning, weekly accounting, financial analysis and so much more for my restaurant.

The RSI service pays for itself several times over during the course of a year and I cannot give their company a better recommendation or endorsement.

We grew from an office in a basement to a ‘mom and pop’ operation to a legitimate business. Being accountable weekly through RSI for performance and profitability made us grow up as a company.

We realized the value of the Weekly Accounting Service RSI provides. With RSI we had more immediate control and understanding of our financial position, and understood how important it is to see Financial Statements weekly and have out Accounting Services consolidated in one platform. Not having to use 3 different contracted services through a local CPA was better for us organizationally and cost-wise. Overall RSI demonstrates efficiency and value by providing access to a single-portal solution to our Accounting needs, so we don’t have to navigate multiple interfaces for what we need.

Ten years ago we understood very little about budgets. We based Cash Flow Position on bank balances, we looked at P&L’s only on an annual basis; we realized we had a great deal to learn. We hired RSI and we got smart. Honestly, when we considered RSI as a service the impetus was mainly to get payroll support. We realized we had a need to learn how to handle our business from a financial perspective. RSI helped us get where we are. We saw the importance of learning what we should stop doing and what we needed to start doing. In conclusion, we appreciate the value RSI adds for their clients as they grow and change. The real value is that operators can get as deeply knowledgeable of Accounting and Financial principles as they are willing to become. Our team has benefitted from becoming well versed on what RSI offers. We have also benefitted from taking the RSI Training piece meal, learning at our pace and the varying levels of experience as our staff has grown and developed over the years.

Restaurant Solutions has helped us open our eyes to see where we needed to re-evaluate our menu. Whether it was repricing, rethinking, re-plating or getting rid of menu items all together, RSI’s Menu Engineering guides us to make the correct decisions for our businesses in real time. RSI’s Menu Engineering Graphs and Reports shows my team how to effectively price our menu items. The managers know where they stand with costs and what trends impact our business.

RSI’s services keep all 11 of our businesses aligned and consistent on Inventory and Ordering practices and cost accountability. We have great leverage with our vendors due to the RSI Interface; we can review and print reports detailing the business we do with vendors. RSI advocates for us and helps strengthen our Buying Position. They have provided us with proof of our consolidated leverage to negotiate the best prices and deals.

RSI developed financial acumen and accountability team and build leadership in my organization. They are stronger, better, more focused leaders due in large part to RSI’s ongoing Training and Support. RSI provides excellent developmental tools and training which gives me the time I need to oversee my company as a whole, instead of having to micro manage all of the day-to-day operational tasks.

I oversee 11 units; the only way I’m able to do my job as COO is to use the tools, Reporting, Accounting and Financial Services and Support Team that RSI offers me.

I was told I would stop being billed on 3/19 by Mike Henson (the same person who is also one of the primary reasons we were leaving) and we’ve still continued to get billed this week even though they said the last bill would clear on the 21st. Currently been on hold with them for a while waiting for someone to “solve this issue.” This place is a scam - we are also still resolving tons of tax penalties that were accrued because they didn’t pay several of our taxes correctly over the past two years and they said they would take care of penalties - surprise surprise they have not!

Do not use them unless you like having your money stolen!

This place is a total joke - when we started with them in 2018 they were pretty good but the last few years have been awful.
They don't pay taxes on time, are impossible to get ahold of to look into the issue and then never follow up to pay the penalties that they eventually admit are their fault. On top of that the system is maddeningly glitchy - partly due to the fact they are constantly trying to update something to make it more automated which in turn makes everything less accurate. Also most of their workers are pretty incompetent - I'm sure it's hard to find good talent to work for such a terrible company and that has become extremely obvious. Worst of all they employ several outrageous higher-ups who find it appropriate to cover their mistakes by yelling at you for complaining and saying you need to give them grace and patience to fix their mistakes instead of just working to make less mistakes - I once said I expected more and was allowed to be upset with their inability to complete simple tasks and was told very rudely that I'm not allowed to complain even though I'm a customer paying them money and that I needed to treat this as a "partnership." Two men in particular - Eric Lang and Mike Henson acted extremely inappropriately toward us and spoke to me in a way that I can't imagine they would have spoken to a man - I would save yourself the trouble and run the other way.

I want to add that we stayed on for three extra months this year trying to have them help us clean up our books - and they still only did about half the work that was asked of them. They are really struggling. Huge waste of time and money.

0 stars is more like it. I would never use RSI for payroll services. They are the worst payroll processor I have used out of 4 different companies. Last year, they erroneously sent the State of Colorado almost $2k for a tax we did not owe. It has been over a year and they have not been able to get me a refund. Currently, I cannot even get them to respond to multiple emails, support requests, and phone calls. I would look at ADP, Benefitmall, Paychex or almost any other processor before RSI. If you notice, most of their positive reviews are from employees, which just seems sad. But maybe they will respond to this review- who knows.

My two pubs have been customers of RASI since 2014. Until recently they had been a wonderful asset in running the businesses. Now they struggle with even the most basic services, they can not be reached by phone, and their core competency seems to be circling the drain. Very disappointing and very problematic.

The over charged me after we told them we don’t like their services. We asked for refunds and they ignored our requests. Their robotic services suck. You can’t ever get ahold of them. This service is good for restaurants who are failing. I highly don’t recommend them. You get what you pay for lol.

Just don't. They started off okay but have gotten progressively worse and unresponsive. At this point they don't even answer the phone. I have been waiting 4 months for them to file a past due return and they are literally ignoring me. Do not use this company.
