Wow if you haven't been to this Ixtapa YOU NEED TO GO!!!
The food here is absolutely amazing nothing like what I would expect but they still have all the classics plus so many amazing new menu items

Ixtapa Appetizer (aka the no name)
Small deep-fried burrito (chicken or picadillo) with melted cheese, guacamole, sour cream, green onions, tomatoes, and salsa.
My friend actually ate it all!

Tacos Arrachera
Marinated skirt steak in tacos with onions, cilantro, and avocado. Served with our traditional Esquite on the side.

Best tacos I've had in a long time! Had to eat it all and then came back another week for more! Can't stop talking about this place

My BFF and I like to go after swimming. We usually have the same waiter (I'm sad I can not remember his name), he is so wonderful! He puts up with our long stay and always makes us laugh!

Ixtapa Snohomish-Huge portions! Be careful don't down too many complementary chips and salsa....Great service. Had their shrimp seviche, fish tacos, and fried jalapeños. A...mazing!!!!!! Oh and churro! Ohhh......something special. I won't tell you how they serve it so it wouldn't ruin surprise.

My 5-star review is mostly based on one dish: Molcajete. Super yummy, has great variety… there’s a cheese-stuffed jalapeño wrapped in bacon in there. House chips were clearly homemade and just fried. Vibe and ambience was festive.

I've enjoyed this restaurant from decades ago when I was a child, and it makes me happy to see it's still around while so much else has changed in this town. The food is comfort and delicious, and the servers are kind and patient. Bathrooms are clean and nicely decorated. The only downside for me is how dim the lighting is.

It was summer out. I was able to bring my dog outside and eat and drink. The food and service was great.

Great Mexican restaurant! You can’t go wrong here. Portion sizes are huge. Fresh chips and salsa when you enter were awesome.

Their food is fantastic. Pricey, but worth it. The drinks are extremely tasty, and always top shelf. The mango daiquiri is a great choice!!

This place is really stepped up their game and become one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. They always treat me very nicely and are quick and prompt with the service. You should definitely go and check them out. Good prices and great food

My wife and I stopped here for lunch after visiting Craven Farms pumpkin patch. We had never been to Ixtapa and had no idea what to expect, so we were pleasantly surprised by the fantastic food and nice environment. I had the Luis Platter which was Grilled Shrimp, Chicken and Beef with rice and beans and my wife had the 2 item combo with a pork tamale and a shredded beef enchilada. Food was great, portions were excellent.

I have to say this was pretty amazing! I have three enchiladas with all the fixin's. A side of homemade guacamole which was outstanding and there was so much food of course I couldn't finish it all. The salsa and chips were awesome as well. I highly recommend this place. The outdoor dining was cozy and warm. It's nice to be able to sit down and have a real dinner! Next time I'm in Snohomish I'll be back

Love this place! I work right next door and they always take care of us when we stop in. Super friendly staff, drinks are always amazing, and the food is great! Love that they are so close to where I work! Great place for lunch or dinner. Thank you for the great service!
