A friend said recently she dreads her waxing appointments and I realized I DON’T. I look forward to visiting Amber and her cozy studio. She works efficiently and with so much mindfulness. She pays attention to the ingredients of the products she uses and searches out the most gentle, most natural, and most effective ways to work. Her studio is spotless and her threading is unmatched! I always leave feeling more beautiful and grateful for her time.

Wonderful experience with Amber at Tru Beauty today! I had been growing out my brows for a couple months in anticipation of getting them professionally shaped and I am so pleased with the results! I had been looking online for someone that not only wore a mask but also asked that of their customers, I felt very comfortable and safe getting my brows done by her. She even had this really cool way of threading my brows without having to use her mouth to hold the thread, really innovative. Also loved that I could book my appointment using the online system, so convenient. I can’t recommend her enough and if I could give her more than 5 stars I absolutely would!

Amber is fantastic!! It took me 5 years to find the PERFECT person to do my eyebrows. I struggled to find a place that could thread and who would listen to what I want. After a horrifying experience with eyebrow threading at the Cherry Creek Mall, I originally met Amber while she was working at Brows on Upper 15th. In the past, I've always had my eyebrows threaded (I have very sensitive skin so waxing isn't really an option). So, when I first moved to Denver in February 2013, I started a search for a local eyebrow threading studio. First on my list was a boutique at the Cherry Creek Mall....BIG mistake. Unfortunately, one visit left me with almost NO eyebrows at all. As result, I called Brows on Upper 15th in a panic...Brows on Upper 15th recommended Amber and since then, my life has never been the same (maybe a little dramatic, but needless to say, Amber is really that good)!

During my initial consultation, I told Amber about my experience at the Cherry Creek mall. Amber suggested I see her every week to start, and then taper off into monthly visits. I took Amber's guidance and saw her every week for about the first 3 months (to check my progress and prevent me from over plucking in between visits). Eventually, every week became every other week, and then every 3 weeks. Which, soon became every month, and is now every 2-3 months. Throughout the process, Amber diligently helped me monitor my eyebrows as they grew back, and helped me create a shape that I could realistically maintain long-term. She also taught me how to pencil-in my eyebrows, which, has made a huge improvement to my overall look. It's been a few years since I started working with Amber and I am still constantly getting compliments from friends/passerbys regarding my eyebrows. I have never felt more confident with/without makeup.
