Mercer Hair Studio

This is a waaaay overdue review. I have lived in Europe, L.A., New York, Denver, and now in Northern California, and Kristin is THE BEST. Always did an incredible job, and always made my hair beautiful. My hair even got healthier while I was visiting Kristin. On top of that, she is so sweet and thoughtful. Thank you, Kristin. I sure miss you here <3
P.S. During my last visit, I got the product she has, Seven 7(Gazar), and I am so happy with it - I should've gotten it earlier.

I had my first appointment with Kristin yesterday, and it was lovely! I scheduled a "long haircut" and got 6+ inches off. Kristin was extremely professional and talked me through everything she was doing. I learned a lot of tips about haircare that I will certainly use. I walked out feeling so happy with my haircut and lucky that I found Kristin's studio.

Kristen is great!! I've been going to her for over a year now. I started going in the pandemic and her space was extremely clean. She's always been very friendly and we have great stories we share back and forth. I have curly hair and I always leave her studio feeling great about it. The hot towel and hand massage treatment is THE BEST. You need to book your next appointment when you are with her because she books up quick.

Kristin is amazing! She is so incredibly friendly, talented, and even gave me a hand massage while we waited for my color to process. I have never seen a hair stylist that have such great service. And I love my hair! You won’t regret going to see her.

Kristin was absolutely amazing! A friend of mine recommended me to go see her and will definitely be seeing her from now on. She is a funny and kind human being and I had so much fun getting my hair cut. My hair cut looked great, the products she used were fantastic and the scalp massage was so relaxing, felt like I was in a spa for a moment! I highly recommend her! :))

First off, what a beautiful salon and calming environment!! I have been going to Kristin for years and have never been disappointed. She does so well with talking through what exactly you are looking for and comes up with a process to keep your hair is the best condition as possible. For someone like me who likes to dramatically change their hair color, this is so important! Weather it’s going from dark to light or to crazy fun colors, she has always reached my desired hair coloring that I was looking for! Finding someone to trust with your hair is hard to find, and I couldn’t imagine anyone else touching my hair! Worth every penny.

I’ve been going to Kristin for about 6 months and I’m very happy with my cut(s) and color. I’ve finally found a stylist (after 5 years of marginal yet expensive cuts/color from others) that I’m going to stick with! Kristin has impeccable taste, and I trust her advice and instincts. Her salon is a spacious studio with great lighting. It’s super comfortable and Kristin makes my visits both relaxing and pampering with an amazing scalp massage and hand massage. I highly recommend Kristin if you’re looking for a stylist with great technical skills and an artistic/stylish/classy eye.

Kristin is so friendly and attentive. She listens to what you want done and the end results are phenomenal! I get my haircut and my bangs trimmed and each time they turn out amazing! I definitely will keep coming back!

Kristin is awesome! I had some very uneven hair colors (quarantine decision) and she evened them up beautifully and did a free bang trim! I never felt awkward like I normally do at other salons and we had the best conversations throughout the whole appointment. Looking forward to going back for some highlights! I would highly recommend Mercer Hair.

Kristin is amaze ballz!! Her studio is a beautiful, serene space, where you will receive caring and professional service. Kristin tries her very best to produce whatever desired look her clients want. She never lets me leave the studio felling uncertain about the outcome of my hair! She also rocks a good conversation 😉. Kristin has been coloring and cutting my hair for over 9 years and there is a reason why I have never ventured out to explore other stylists— she is fantastic! I dye my hair black and was alway worried about damaging products, Kristin not only has a great attention to detail, she uses quality products that have never damaged my hair. Over the years, I have come to Kristin for a variety of different cuts, I could find a picture in a magazine and she was able to virtually duplicate the look and style! I have thick hair, and it's always been hard to find someone who takes their time to do it right, and Kristin does just that! She performs high-quality cuts, and never disappoints. Kristin was attentive, listened to my specific details from my previous and beloved hairstylist back in NYC, never making me feel like I was being ridiculous. Kristin blew me away! She is extremely talented at her craft. I had a poofy thick scraggly unruly mane. When I walked away I looked and felt like a million bucks. My hair has never been this soft in my life. Kristin's spirit is radiantly beautiful. Her Studio is like an oasis from the chaos of life so calming and renewing. She gives an amazing scalp massage that alone is worth the money :-)

Having recently moved from NY & finding the right Hairstylist was not only stressful, but gave me major anxiety. Can I just say how Kirsten super exceeded my expectations! I went in there with a hot mess and seriously came out looking amazing! I found her on groupon, but didn't purchase anything, I just booked directly on her website. Well, not only did she give me the best scalp, and hand massage ever ( I'm serious, I got goosebumps from her scalp massage) she actually honored the groupon price!! I HIGHLY recommend her. She's amazing, and has a new customer for life!

I moved around the country a lot and had to change a lot of hair studios. Some I choose not to go to again simply because of the wrong vibe. If you know what I mean? When you do hair, you come to relax, you do not to feel rushed or stressed. You selfishly want all attention on you by your hair stylist. This is the attention you get from Kristin and I appreciate it so much. That is of course on top of me walking out smiling all the time because I feel so good about how my hair looks after too!

Bottom line, it does not just take a professional experienced hairdresser to make you fall in love with her. It takes it all - and it takes professionalism of an ‘nth’ degree.
