Dardano's Shoes

I have been going to this high quality shoe store for years. It is particularly good for comfort and travel shoes. I have also gone there to have older, beloved shoes repaired and polished. When I need a solid pair of shoes that support my feet as I age, this is the first place I go. They also have a lot of socks and purses/bags.
Periodically they have a sale, and I am on their mailing list to receive notification.
Fun fact, this is a family run business since 1938. How cool is that? They have two locations, but I have only been to the Colorado Blvd. store.

Store has one of the best shoe selection I’ve ever seen. My husband and I couldn’t decide what was the best part of it shoe collection or customer service. Layla who helped me to choose two amazing shoes, provided excellent service. Thank you, Colorado!!!

I love Dardano's so much. Jackie helped me pick our the perfect pair of Brooks for my everyday sneaker. She took the time to fit me properly with the right arch support. So nice and kind, and she knew her stuff! I got the donate my old sneakers I was wearing and wear the new ones out. I'll be back when this pair needs to retire.

Went to Dardano's and spent an hour there, looking at their great selection of not only running shoes, but cool German house shoes and Birkenstocks. Their service is amazing, with each person an expert on the foot and shoes, they really are helping you find the best pair, a rarity when shoe shopping today. They have a great membership program too, which gives us good savings. Really great shop and excellent service.

I had a very good experience yesterday shopping at Dardano's. It started from the time my wife and i walked in the door and were greeted by Jon Valentine. I have neuropathy in my feet and Jon was knowledgeable as to what types of footwear would be best for me. We tried different socks and shoes. I wound up buying quality footwear and left the store a "happy camper".

We are from Upstate New York and visit family in Denver 2 or 3 times a year. We make a point of stopping at Dardano's for their quality products and the knowledgeable and courteous service we receive from their employees.

I have never bought shoes here but I've had MANY repaired. They have handled everything from a gouge in leather on a pair of high end heels, to straight up broken heels on TWO pairs of shoes, to resoling cowboy boots, replacing the heel pieces on nice shoes. Every single time, my shoes come back not only fixed, but in overall better condition than when I brought them in.

I looked at the website and was unsure how to order so I called the store to make sure they had them in stock to pick up instead. Conner checked and informed that they did have them available. I came to the store directly and mentioned I had spoken on the phone with someone about the shoe and Conner set them aside for me without me even asking. He honored the online price and was super friendly. I have never had a better experience anywhere shopping especially during the holidays. Conner, you are the man and THANK YOU SO MUCH for your amazing customer service and kindness. Will be coming back 100%

Matthew was super helpful in helping me pick a set of new insoles! I explained the issue I’ve been having with my foot for years and he knew right away what would help relieve my pain. He let me try out a few options and explained the benefits of each until we ultimately settled on something that made a world of difference. Thanks again!

The best experience in service and repair I’ve ever had! I lent my gorgeous ivory Tacova cowboy boots to my daughter and she trashed them. She spilled something on them that discolored one half of a boot to a yellow color in addition to major scuffs, color transfer and the stitching was stained. I took them into Dardano’s to repair and they came back like nothing ever happened to them! They look amazing!! Ryan Dardano and Layla were incredible and Layla even remembered me when I came back to pick them up. I wish I had taken a before and after picture, you wouldn’t believe the work they did and were able to 100% repair my boots!! Their communication through the whole process was incredible through text messages, letting me know that they were working on them and when they were done to pick up. I felt very well taken care of. I am a Dardano’s customer for life!

Wesley was amazing! He suggested several styles of shoes for me try and explained why some styles would be more beneficial for my feet. I highly recommend Dardanos to anyone who is looking for high quality shoes and professional friendly service

Even tho this place is quite expensive they do sell quality shoe products lines. This is a late review, but wanted to share my experience with this store from 2000 - 2019. I had bought shoes here until the VAMC (VA Medical Center) took over that part being I needed shoes for my diabetic feet. Staff here are very professional and courteous. I will miss the experience I had here. :(

I have a fantastic experience every time I go into Dardanos. I always trust that I’ll leave with shoes that are comfortable and fit me well. It’s especially important to me since I have neuropathy in my feet and good shoes can dramatically improve how much I can walk in a day. I’ve had great experiences with both Cher and Crystal. They were both welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. Crystal especially has gone above and beyond for me. Thanks, y’all, so much!

Dardano's was by far....THE BEST sneaker buying experience I've ever had! And I am a long time, comfortable sneakers buyer, so when I say that. I'm 100% serious! Tracy the employee that assisted me, was wonderful, experienced and helped me select the Hoka sneakers I needed for a good fit by measuring both feet and then for even better balance she suggested a pair of inserts. When I put the sneakers on originally, the fit was perfect. With the inserts....hah! Then it was over the top excellent! So end result? My going into look, became, making the best sneaker purchase in all my years of buying sneakers. And needless to say, I've bought literally 100's of sneakers!! Thank you Tracy and Dardano's! A little sidenote: I joined the mailing list for email and this purchase earned me $10.00 credit for my next purchase! Now that's a great deal! I'll be back for sure!

I had a great experience. Had to come back here to exchange some boots I was not satisfied with, and Connor was super attentive and helpful. Thank you for your patience and professionalism in helping me to pick the right winter boots. My dog and I left the store very happy!

Dardano’s Shoes on South Colorado Blvd is a wonderful store with expert employees who really care about finding the very best shoes for customers. Today Sept 15,2023 Dardanos was very busy (as usual), bur I received outstanding attention from James, Dardano’s Store Manager. James patiently spent a great deal of time with me since my feet are not easy to fit. We finally found a great pair of walking shoes. Many thanks James & Dardano’s!

I bought a pair of Hokas ~5 months ago from this store, and noticed that one of the shoes was ripping prematurely. I went in and talked to Steve, who let me exchange my shoes for a new pair, and was super helpful with the whole interaction. He assured me that even though those shoes start to wear down around 6 months, that the ripping isn’t common and most likely wouldn’t happen again. Thank you, Steve!!!
