City of Kunming Park

Delivered this rating solely for its great vantage points of downtown Denver and the Sunset over the mountains to the West. Nice area in a quiet neighborhood. That being said, do not expect the amenities offered by other parks (playground, walking paths, water features, etc). All in all a very pleasant visit.

Great place to have a quick picnic the park was peaceful and we only saw a few people walking their dogs. Great view.

Mountain views and beautiful trees. You can catch a glimpse of downtown also. Lots of dogs playing in the park. There are several benches to sit on or you can sit along the retaining wall of the garden.

We moved to this neighborhood almost 2 years ago and this has become my favorite park in Denver. Great views, not too crowded, bathrooms at nearby Harvard Gulch Rec Center - great place for a walk!

Such a neat little park I discovered! Idk if it's often busy around sunset but tonight it was awesome to see several groups (social distancing I love it!) all set up on the grass to watch the sunset over the mountains in the distance :)

Fantastic place to watch at sunset!

This is such a sweet and peaceful park. Just empty space in a crowded city, with a long view of the mountains and a nice stretch of grass for sunny days. Nothing for the kids but do they need much more than grass and space in our concrete jungle? Highly recommended for all ages.

Denvers interest in having open space parks is nice. Without knowing the name or it's meaning until I actually looked at the park sign, which lead me to read the stories on the kiosk, I became interested in the reason behind it. The connections to Chinese immigrants and the race riot that caused the 1,000 Chinese residents to be dwindled down to 100 in a matter of a couple years was strange, as well as the location of this park, with the name being changed to the "sister city park to Kunming. Regardless the stories were cool, inc the donation of stones from the Chinese govt. If you look into the history of all the stories put on this tablet you will be more intrigued, guaranteed

Had a wonderful time with my husband here. Fresh love and a Park go hand in hand. Stumbled crustose Park. My husband and I just wrestled around in love. And fell in love with his Park. And then reading about the history of the park. We found it incredible. We keep wanting to come back to this park. But we couldn't remember where was. But now we found it again. So that we can come back to this park. But the same old feelings. This park has magical powers. And the history behind it is incredible just love it. I will take pictures and share them. Thank you

Beautiful park has so much to offer the dog walkers are very considerate and clean up after their dogs. They have so much to offer for the adults. The sight is beautiful when it snows.

History of Kunming China: this was the city where the Ameircan Volunteer Group (Flying Tigers) was based during WWII. Lots of aviation movies and video games were influenced by the pilots of flying tigers.
