Cushing Park

Nice park. Great grass, plenty of parking, and a good amount of amenities around the park. Worth coming here to throw the ball with the dog.

Wonderful little neighborhood park with tons of features! Skate park, basketball court, two playgrounds, ample covered picnic tables, West-facing performance area, lovely little pond with a bridge, a small field for dogs, and some outdoor fitness equipment. Whoever designed this place did a great job! Wish more parks had all this going, and this place shows that you don't need a lot of space to make it happen!

Great little skatepark, as well as a playground-park, plenty of open grass and fields, great location both geologically as well as it being neatly tucked away into the neighborhood. Features for everyone of all ages. Bathrooms only open during the summer was the only downside I could say about the whole park.

Nice neighborhood park that has a little something for all ages. Good selection of equipment, basketball court, skate park, and grassy areas for play. Bathroom and water foundation are still closed.

Public meth smoking saunas. Night classes offered in the CCC, Colorado College of Crime, taught by the newest class if Englewood police retirement gang. Also the ever popular pastime of Denvers rich & my, ,,"Jack thy Ñeighbor", "Care of the Crooked Cops", and how to go no sleep 10 days"so hotel unnecessary

So much fun to watch the skaters. My dog loves it, too.

We went on a Saturday, and it was packed but not too much. There was still plenty of space for everyone. It's a gorgeous park with lots of things to do. There's a disc golf course, things for kids, lots of places to walk, and it's just a great park that's nearby. You should definitely check out this park if you haven't.

There are so many things we love about Cushing Park. The lake, the trees, the skatepark, the playground. My personal favorite is the entry at the north side. It feels special to walk through.

Update: We've been living here for years now and Google suggested I update my review. When the kids were little we enjoyed the playground. Now they enjoy throwing Frisbees in the open green spaces. The new skatepark looks great but my kids don't skate. I do see others having a great time.

I vastly prefer the new, open, picnic space. The old one was creepy and made the playground feel unsafe. I wish they'd changed it years ago but I'm glad they have now!

My brother lived here with me for years but is in college now but he really appreciates the new exercise area they put it. It could use some shade... My son is going to the rec center until the weather cools off but then he'll be giving it a try too.

I personally like bringing a camp chair and sitting and knitting in the shade while my busy family is running around. 😊 I think this is the best park in Englewood!

Twenty years ago, I looked Wash Park in Denver better but now it's so overcrowded that it's not fun. Cushing has enough people coming and going to feel alive and safe but not enough that it feels crowded. I can sit and feel alone if I want or sit near prior.

The new skatepark is amazing!!! As well the workout center is a pleasant add-on.

Per square foot definitely one of the parks ever.

Love my local skate spot at Cushing. They're currently in the middle of building a concrete park to replace the prefab ramps. So excited for the updates!! Englewood really seems to care about the area. Usually visit this park daily on walks and to skate.

They have the fitness court here too.

It's a vibe! It's mostly street parking and the restroom isn't open on the weekends. (When most parents bring kids... weird)

Now it's a 5.0 thanks to the art students of Englewood schools!! Beautiful work

Basketball court cool, a little lake under a bridge cooler, a skate park so cool, a nice playground even cooler and a area for gatherings plus bathrooms super dope and nice green grass so cool. All around total package. The parking is quite interesting to get to

It was very peaceful environment...there's a playground for the little kiddos...a state park for those that are brave enough to venture into the possibility of breaking a bone & a trail-like sidewalk to carelessly stroll through the park...I highly suggest checking it out by yourself or with the whole family.

New skate park experience is a must visit for any local skateboarder (roller skates are popular on the mini ramp also). Overall a beautiful little park.

They just rebuilt the skatepark really nice lot of kids and youth and adults and generally a great spot for beginners.

Super fun new setup- but definitely go in the morning cause the place is SWAMPED in the afternoon. 😤
