I have had nothing but great experience. I was already a patient of Lindsey's in the past at a different facility. I am so thankful I was able to start seeing her again. Everything has been extremely simple with setting up appointments and billing. The best part they are in the mycentura group so my pcp always has all my information automatically in the system.

If there could be more Dr. Brandt’s in this world, we would be in a much better place! I have been suffering with Major Depressive Disorder since I was 10 and no psychiatrist understood until Dr. Brandt came into my life and gave me my life back! Can’t thank you enough!! Highly recommend!

I have been a patient at Porter for almost a year and a half now and have yet to have anything other than delightful experiences with them. The receptionists are super nice, my psychiatrist Carolyn actually *listens* to me and has been so incredibly helpful in finding the right treatment for my issues, and my therapist Stephanie is an absolute delight. I have no idea why their google reviews are not more positive, because I love this place so much that I'm willing to drive over an hour to get there.

I have been coming to this office since moving to Denver in early 2018.
I just love this place!! The front office staff is amazing, and Dr. Brandt is the best doc I’ve had for a psychologist in ages.
I feel as though I owe this office a lot, they continue to help me and others become able to live our best possible lives.

I had been seeing another psychiatrist who was not associated with this office who had me on so many psych meds I was having neurological symptoms that simulated early dementia or Parkinson's. I switched to this practice and have been under the highly competent care of Jessica Fynboh. She got me off of all that harmful medication and I now take only one med. She is by far the best medication manager I have ever seen. The staff is always helpful and courteous. Highly recommended.

These folks have helped me turn my life around. I am grateful to have found this place. They have been highly instrumental in my recovery. Annanda is an inspirational and caring therapist . Their IOP was very worthwhile. The receptionist staff has been pleasant with me always. The staff have earned my trust.

I've been coming here for almost 4 years and am extremely happy here. The staff is helpful and quick to respond, Marsha has been here for years and always greets you happily and willing to help. Dr. Dacres is my doctor and is absolutly wonderful and listens to you. I recommend this facility to anyone looking for long term psychatric care, they truly are the best I have ever experienced.

I personally had a beautiful experience here. I believe it takes a bit of effort on the patient’s part to partake in the group therapies, but I found the staff to be above and beyond caring and interactive with us patients. This place made a difference in my life. I didn’t want to leave.

Coming here has literally saved my life. They are always loving, welcome, patient and understanding. Even though my coverage fluctuated they were able to take me back as soon as I was covered again. Twice.

This is the most compassionate/reliable; "group," I've ever experienced! I love Carolyn Dacres, Anna, Alexa, Susan and everyone up front!

Ive never had a bad experience here and am not sure how people could describe the staff as rude or neglectful. Have always found the staff in all departments to be very helpful and caring

I participated in the intensive outpatient therapy program on two separate, muliti-month occasions. The staff was caring, skilled, competent, and detailed in their treatment program. I found them to be very invested in my inprovement and customization of the finer details of my personalized treatment.
I have sought them out once again to address my resistance to traditional antidepressant therapy and we are now discussing a three month program of TMS. They haven't given up on me and with their help I haven't given up on myself. I have been more than satisfied and continue to be hopeful under Porter's care. I would recommend you include them in your search for treatments and care.
I will be happy to update this post as my newest course of treatment moves along. Wishing you all the best health.

I have no idea why people are so upset with this place, where do I even start? Good stuff first:

Number one, they listen to their patients. They acknowledge the understanding you have of your own mental health and any experience you have and no doctor or PA I or anyone I know has ever been dismissed as not knowing our own brains just because we're a patient and they're a doctor. They're so easy to talk to.

Furthermore, I've had to reschedule appointments on short notice--like fifteen minutes from my scheduled time stuck in traffic short notice--and have never been threatened with a fee/talked down to about it, let alone experienced refusal to continue seeing me. (If there is a fee--I fully admit to not looking at my receipts closely enough--it can't be more than about $90, which is standard for psychiatrist offices.)

As for medications, they've been great about trying new things rather than upping my doses on the same old same old like my last doctor did. I'm not maxed out on my meds anymore. My doctor is open with me about side effects and drug combinations, and keeps me appraised of why I'm on any given medication and why we think it will work. I feel well managed and like I have options if I need to make adjustments.

They also schedule future appointments based on my refill schedule, so I've never had an issue getting my refills. Anyone who has been doing psychiatric treatment for a while knows that you can't just call in a refill for these substances without an appointment--that's standard practice. NO psychiatrist is going to just say "oh yeah just go ahead and have 40 mg of Prozac we can't confirm that you need" and your insurance DEFINITELY won't go for it. And yeah, that means you have to think ahead about your appointments and understand that you can't just call and say "get me in this week because I screwed up" and have their schedule magically open up for you. There are other patients. They're a doctor's office, not your babysitter.

I also love that they have everything under one roof. It is so much nicer to be able to get therapy and psychiatry and everything in one place.

Now, one issue I have had is that if you call with a question and have to leave a message, they can be slow to respond. I've had one call where I never got a response and one where I got one right away, but they're amazing in appointments so I put up with it.

Also, some of their receptionists are kind of stuffy, but it's not like they're out here messing up my appointments or anything. Their nurses are also a little detached, they're there to do their job and keep moving. If you want to be coddled through your pre-appointment screening you won't get that here, but I've seen nurses do far worse, and I can't say I've ever been bothered by it.

And finally: really, people? We're going to whine about the decor? Yes, it is in a dated building. Yes, the waiting room looks like it was put together in the early to mid 80s. But you're not getting treated by the decor, now are you? Grow up.

These therapists do not seem to care about people; they will only do virtual meetings. Dedicated mental health advocates know the value of in-person communication. I spoke to 2 of them, all they did was refer me to other companies. Bizarre!

I requested a medication refill. My pharmacist said they’d have to call the doctor. The doctor denied it twice and said I needed an appointment. Well my doctor no longer works there and they gave no advice as to who I was supposed to continue to see. I left 2 voicemails indicating I was leaving town and needed a small supply of my medication. No one ever called me back and they never called the prescription in to help me out. They never even called back to schedule an appointment. I highly do not recommend coming to this facility. It is outdated, decor like a grandmother’s house from 1950s. The nursing staff is clearly unhelpful. My doctor left and they never pointed me in the direction of a new one. I am also left prescriptionless and had to abruptly stop taking it.

I love my psychiatrist, but the front office needs to get it together. Calls are never returned same day, there is never an easy way to get in contact with you doctor or the front office or medical staff. For a behavioral health center, they need to be more on top of communication because it is terrible.
