Safeway

The workers were phenomenal. I had a stroke a few years ago and have mobility issues. I'd gotten about half of my shopping done when I physically couldn't go on. One of the young men tonight went and got me a mobile scooter to finish my shopping. He was wonderful as well as the there people who helped to price, package and help us with our groceries to my car. I wish I would have gotten their names. Exceptional workers all and it was all at the end of they're shifts. Thank you so much! Exceptional service!

Wanted to take some time to thank our cashier, Christy, who was so incredibly friendly to everyone she assisted. She had such a positive attitude and recommended some tasty dinner ideas for the chicken we bought. Our day was brightened by her sunny, kind soul. :)

I’m giving 5 stars for the Safeway pickup employee. She does an amazing job and is always friendly. My groceries are bagged organized by freezer items, refrigerated items and so on. She also doesn’t give nearly expired produce like many other store pickups do, as they try to get rid of those to customers who are not in store to pick them out. I really appreciate that!!!

Just a great store. Comparable prices wth their signature brand products. I get my meds here and they let me know when I'm ready for a refill! The deli is also very good! Great Chinese food and other... yum! Meats, bakery and produce are always good too!
Update 8/4/23- I still get my meds here and their produce can't b beat but I don't know how anybody that makes a regular wage can afford to shop here. I'm on a fixed income and I can't afford 20$ everytime I go to buy a few things. 😣
Update 11/18/23: new guy in the deli is horrible. Unfriendly and undersizes meals...

Love how many organic options available here. The aisles were wide, well-stocked and there were no lines to leave. I was there at 5:40 p.m. on a Wednesday.

I worked here for 2 years as a courtesy clerk, cashier, and every now and then filling in a few other jobs. The management and staff is great so it’s good to know that you are supporting good business. As for people interested in a job, like I said, coworkers are great but you have to work, it’s not always an easy or “fun” job. If you like a little bit of short term intense stress that is perfect. Front end, Deli, Starbucks, Bakery, and assistant store director are all great, can’t really speak to the other managers too much as I don’t know them too well/they started working there just before I quit (store director). The reason I left was to pursue a medical career.

Can get fresh, made to order sushi here. Love all the fresh vegetables and pre-made meals and soups. I always spend more than I planned and that is a good thing!

I was recommended Safeway's floral department by a coworker. I was very pleasantly surprised by the large selection & great prices. The employee working the section actually asked if I needed help finding anything, & took the time to help me find what I was looking for. Usually when I'm wandering the floral selection of two of the competitors, I get ignored & left to wander by myself. It was nice to be acknowledged!

I had issues with this store 6 years ago. Recently we started shopping there again and now that Wendy is in charge of this store, it is run like a finely oiled machine. Appears to be adequetly staffed and decent produce along with well stocked shelves.

Walked in to buy flowers for a coworker and this nice lady helped me pick the most beautiful arrangement. She even put it together for me in a vase and box! Ive always had great customer service when going to this florist shop in the Spokane valley Safeway. Thank you!

Fist time shopper in this store. Clean and bright. Great inventory and product selection.
A bit confusing having non organic among the organic. But not a deal breaker by any means.

This is my go to store for items no one else carries. They also have a friendly staff.
The store is clean and well stocked.
Safeway is also associated with Albertsons.
So with competitors in the area you need convenience. This store is where you need it.
So head on over for what you're looking for.

As far as Safeways go this one is very nice. It is clean, modern, and well stocked. I've never had to wait in line and their deli staff is very accommodating.

The best Safeway in the entire area. Recently moved here (yeah yeah yeah, not from too far away - I've been to this store several times before) and was pleasantly surprised that it was still great. Glad to be here, and glad to have an awesome grocery store right down the street.

One of the friendliest grocery store pharmacies I've ever encountered. Staff very efficient and tailors to all your requests. Store is well kept and equally well stocked. I will certainly return someday.

So I am a male MTF Crossdresser, and I regularly come in and get some groceries while crossdressed, both the male and female staff are very excepting and helpful. The staff never judge me or give dirty looks or refuse to help me. In my opinion they definitely deserve 5 stars.

Customer service is excellent, I havent had a bad experience here at all. Store is kept very clean and they do have a wide variety with several choices in cheap, median and expensive options. I especially like this store because they are the only ones to carry our favorite brand of coffee and hot sauce.

I love Safeway and the points you build up from the app have saved me a ton of money on gas and 10 dollars off groceries every month depending on how much I shop throughout the years. Update: still love it
