Absolutely stellar experience at Lacey Family Dentistry! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making my visit smooth and enjoyable. Dr. Persinger was exceptionally knowledgeable and took the time to address all of my concerns with care and expertise. The facility was clean and had an interesting collection of dental industry antiques which I thought was pretty cool. I highly recommend Lacey Family Dentistry for anyone in search of top-notch dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. Five stars all the way!

The best dentist ever! Dr Whistler and Nelly have been the best, most patient, understanding, and comforting professionals I've ever met and been worked on by. I had so much work needing to be done due to many years of neglect and theyve been taking it in stride! I have a new and improved smiled and my quality of life has improved all thanks to their hard work. I couldnt recommend a better team.

Not only does Dr. Whistler deserve this five-star review for her professionalism and skills, but she deserves a medal for going above and beyond, particularly in regards to humaneness and genuine kindness.
I had a dental emergency/nightmare. I was about to lose a tooth and not just any tooth, my front tooth…I was freaking out, crying and trying to find a dentist who could fit me in. I am so grateful they were willing to squeeze me in when the other dental clinics in town would not.
Upon arrival I was reassured that all my concerns, worries and wishes would be taken seriously here and I was in good hands. “We are going to get you out of pain and get you taken care of” Dr. Whisler said.
And she did.
The staff was equally attentive, especially Nelly, who helped calm my anxiety and was able to do the best dental impressions without making me gag.
Dr. Whisler herself may just have the highest standards of any dentist (or generally doctor) I have ever seen. She knows her craft, this much becomes clear, and where other dentists often display brutish strength and lack of motor skills, she carefully and skillfully worked her way around the damaged tooth without causing extra pain.
Most awe-inducing to me, however, are two facts. Firstly, the doctor stayed until 11 P.M. to help me resolve my issue. This is obviously highly unusual, and I would go as far as stating that I doubt any other doctor would have done the same. With this, she already demonstrated that she truly cares about her patients’ wellbeing, takes her oath seriously, and that she loves her craft. Additionally, I have never had any doctor follow up on our appointment, but Dr. Whisler did. I have never had a better experience with a dentist in all of my life and she was able to save my tooth and make me feel whole again. This is the BEST DENTIST IN THE WORLD!

I've been a patient at Lacey Family Dental for over 4 years. I've had cleanings and a couple fillings during those years, but just had a crown replaced and wanted to write about my experience.
Dr. Persinger is very skilled, gentle, patient and professional. He is also a perfectionist who pays attention to every little detail. His standards are high, which means patients receive excellent care with every visit. The staff is wonderful. Dental assistant Lori makes your visit not only comfortable but actually enjoyable. Prices are fair and competitive. If you are looking for a fantastic dental office, Lacey Family Dental is the place to go. You will not be disappointed.

I hadn't been to a Dentist in an extremely long amount of time but I recently had a Chipped Molar that became infected and unbearable. They where able to schedule me quickly and see me right away. Never once did I feel embarrassed about the state of my teeth or felt uncomfortable when I was being helped. I am so beyond grateful to the entire staff and team for being welcoming and accommodating. I highly, highly recommend Lacey Family Dental and look forward to working with them in the future.

Lacey Family Dental has been my providers for years until I moved across the state. When I was home in Olympia for the holiday weekend, I experienced a dental emergency. Dr W promptly replied to me and had me come in. She spent 4 hours making sure I had a useable tooth, and making a plan to give me a permanent solution. I can’t say enough kind things about the kindness and dental excellence they provide

Long over due! I found Dr. Persinger in 2012 when I moved to Lacey. Hes absolutely fantastic, as is his team! He’s so great that even when I moved back up North of Seattle I have still gone to his office for my cleanings. He’s great with kids, my daughter started seeing him at 9 years old. I liked his office so much that I recommended my sister and my little nephew (4 years old) see him too. If you’re looking for a great office, look no further!

It hasn't been a whole day since my filling, but I have to say the amount of relief I have already is great. The last dentist that I went to messed up my fillings to where it was excruciating to floss between two teeth and it hurt to eat hard things there too. I did go to someone else inbetween that found an air pocket and it collapsed and he did a quick fix. The pain was less intense, but still there.

Coming here I wasn't sure that the pain would ever really go away, but it seems like I won't have any issues. Like I said, it hasn't been a day yet and I'm able to finally floss there without any discomfort. I'll have to test out the eating situation with some hard candy, but so far I'm impressed.

He was very detailed when shaping my teeth to align with my bite and it was more detailed than any other dentists I have been to.

The staff there is always very professional and kind for the two cleanings I have had and my one appointment to fill a cavity. If I had only gone here in the first place!

I found Dr Persinger 3 years ago when I broke my tooth during lunch. He saw me same day and made my visit and every visit since comfortable and affordable. He's taken care of me ever since then and I've always had great service from him and the staff. They've developed a fantastic relationship and I would recommend them to all my friends.

Before I found Lacey Family Dental I had not gone to the dentist in about 4 years due to the horrible experiences I had at another dentist office. I started having severe tooth pains and knew I needed to go. A friend told me about Dr. Persinger and his staff and I could not wait! Right from the beginning the staff was very considerate of my time and my needs. I had major anxiety and fear of going to see a dentist but Dr. Whisler took her time and helped me feel comfortable and safe with her before she did any work. I had to have some extensive things done but it all went really well! I had a cap put on and it made my tooth extra sensitive. When Dr. Whisler heard she immediately set an appointment with me and fixed it for free. I feel 100% cared for and 100% safe when I walk into this office. The atmosphere is incredible and the staff are always smiling and personable. I am truly grateful I have found Dr. Persinger and Dr. Whisler! FANTASTIC Dentist to go to!

What a delightful experience! Raquel was my hygienist and she did an amazing job. She was so gentle and very kind. I felt absolutely no pain while she was working on me. Dr. Persinger was straight forward, honest and very thorough. You can tell that he's a very good doctor and an all-around pretty good dude. I can't recommend them enough, I look forward to future visits.

Can't believe I'm saying this... but best dentist office ever!

Went in as a new patient for my first visit today, and left feeling happy... cavity diagnosis and all! ha

Staff was super friendly, as was the Doc. I'm currently pregnant and did not want to have x-rays or fillings done, and to my surprise they were on the same page with me. I was ready to full out fight them on that, but didn't have to!

Raquel (hope I'm spelling that right!) was probably the best hygienist I've ever had. She talked about what she was doing, was super friendly, and even gave my first flossing tutorial, which, as it turns out, I've been doing wrong all my life.

And unlike some offices, they didn't try to push out-of-insurance visits or procedures on me.

Bonus points for letting me pet the office puppy Cotton! May not be for everyone, but I'm a total dog person and loved that they had her on site. So cute!

I love this place so much. I have medical anxiety and I am always so comfortable here. Both Dr. Persinger AND Dr. Whisler are extremely professional, polite, and gentle. (For example, I just got done with a cavity filling 30 minutes ago. I have literally zero pain or discomfort!!) The hygienists are also wonderful!! I’m actually looking forward to getting a deep cleaning done with Tiffany. Never thought I’d say that about any dental work.

Dr. Jared was great! I’m always nervous at the dentist but felt very comfortable at his office and under his care. I had a lot of work to be done and he made time to do it all. My teeth feel great!!

My daughter has been a patient since 2015 this office is so great with young kids. I myself have been a pt here since beginning of 2018 after not going to the dentist in 5 years came to this office and always felt the dental compassion for my teeth. The way they prioritize the treatment plan and go over pricing made everything a breeze.

My daughter and I have been seeing Dr. Whisler or Dr. Persinger now for about 5 or 6 years and I feel very fortunate and grateful to have found them. Just recently my daughter (young adult) had to have her first filling. She has a needle phobia and it is extremely difficult to get her through medical procedures. Dr. Whisler and team, with their phenomenal personalities and patience (we had to talk my girl into getting the Novocain injection for over an hour!!), were pulling it off! :) And the most surprising followed a couple days later, when Dr. Whisler followed up on my daughter's condition with a super sweet text message! I was so impressed by this caring gesture, I almost cried.
Lacey Family Dental is a very kind, caring, and knowledgeable dentist office and I really hope they stick around for a long time because I feel it's very rare, finding down to earth but caring medical professionals.

If this review was limited in scope to the customer service, professionalism and caring of Dr. Jared Persinger and his team, it would be five stars. However, I recently was denied several times for a crown by my insurance provider and I want to highlight his persistence, values and commitment to his patients.

My insurance provider (which will go nameless, but I am retired military and the name starts with the letters U and C...) denied my preauthorization for a crown. A crown is the standard of care following a root canal and before a root canal was recommended, the tooth was visually cracked in several places across the surface and into the gums. Dr. Persinger submitted three different amendments to overturn the decision and even talked to the dentist employed by the insurance company, to no avail.

Dr. Persinger did not give up. In a last ditch effort, he contacted the state office for the insurance commissioner and within a day, the insurance company authorized the crown.

Dr. Persinger not only provides the most comfortable and technical dental work I’ve had, but as you can tell by my circumstance, he goes above and beyond to ensure his patients receive the care they deserve (and pay for). I highly recommend giving Lacey Family Dental a shot for your next checkup, cleaning, filling or whatever you and your families needs.

Let’s be honest, no one enjoys going to the dentist for anything outside a cleaning. At this office I can honestly say that they make the uncomfortable and dreaded appointment very tolerable. They are efficient, explained everything that was going to be and was being done.....no surprises. I didn’t spend the entire day numb, Dr Persinger only numbs what’s necessary. Not excited about my next crown, but not freaked out about it either. Dr Whistler (Hamburg) is also terrific! You should check them out!

Sold! I had a bad skateboarding accident over 10 years ago and knocked one of my teeth out. I had some dental work over the years from various people but the work was never complete and I felt a nagging pain for years. And noticed it often when I bit into something. Bad experience after the other, trying to fix the issues with various dentists, I decided to give up for a while. That was until the pain became so unbearable this weekend that I had to give in and see a dentist.

I couldn't get a hold of anyone over the weekend but left a message at Persinger's office, along with several others and they were first to get back to me. They scheduled me for the next hour and the drive was 2 minutes away. :) Another perk!

Did the normal x ray thing and checkup and then the good news -- I was told I needed a root canal. I've had a few of these before and never enjoyed them. I agreed to it and the procedure was quick and fairly painless.

Even though it's only been 12 hours, I am already feeling much better. I will write a followup on this if anything changes but I am very happy overall. Dr. Persinger is clearly an expert in his field and very professional. I have found my new dentist! Thank you again for everything!
