Cottage On State

I am new to the area and chose Dawn at The Cottage on State as my new hair stylist after reading several recommendations. I have been to her twice; once for haircut and second time for color. She did not disappoint! Dawn is super friendly and likable. I really appreciated the styling and hair care tips she offered. Reasonable prices and quality service. I highly recommend Dawn for all of your hair care needs.

The Cottage on State is a gem in NE Olympia. It’s a salon as well as a retail location for unique vintage and antique, new and used items like jewelry, decor and garden items. The owner, Shelley is a lovely, kind, and ethical person. There’s always a treasure to find, and a great conversation to be had.

Dawn has been my go-to stylist for many years, and and I love that she is now located at the Cottage on State. I can just zip up there from work downtown. Dawn will always do exactly what you want done, and is friendly and knowledgeable about hair products. She is also great with men’s hair and my husband goes to her too. One stop shop!

This is one nice boutique. There are lots of great finds and buys along with a great hair stylist. There are succulents in very cute containers of all varieties, all different kinds of jewelry to choose from. I didn't even get into the other areas to explore. if you are looking for something special and unique, stop in and take a look. Very friendly as well.

i’ve been going to donnie for a haircut for awhile now. she has amazing customer service and overall is a great person. she makes her customers feel like family. i would highly recommend anyone going to her.

My hair looks amazing when I leave Cassy's magical salon. My hair looks amazing even when I don't brush it for three days. Cassy is able to create magic with my head of hair. She knows what I need, and I trust her completely. She is a creative genius. Treat yourself to her yummy products and shop around the cute yellow house before or after your cut. Super great!
