Daniel, one of the cashiers at Dick’s in Olympia was our hype man after I purchased a Qalo ring for my wife. She opened the box and saw it empty, to only look to me beside her on one knee. Jokingly, I asked her “Will you marry me, again?” I put her ring on her finger, stood up and immediately Daniel clapped and cheered and the customers behind us followed with laughter and clapping. It seriously embarrassed my wife since we’ve been married for a while now but it was agreed, really funny. Daniel exceedingly shows customer service by being a hype man, despite the store closing within 20 minutes that day. 🙌🏽 lol

We went up here because my husband was looking for a bicycle for himself. Josh helped us and he was very nice and knowledgeable about the bikes. The store was really clean and the cashier was very nice.

Great experience today grabbing some golf stuff, Evan in the golf department was awesome. The place is even better now that some of the previous staff that walked around with a unfriendly energy have left.

I have to give credit where credit is due. Dylan Irwin in the shoe department impressed me with his customer service and people skills like I've never seen before. I was an Operations Manager for a lot of years and have been in customer service in corporate my whole career. So it's safe to say I know customer service. His attentiveness and the care he shows with absolute kindness to his customers blew my mind. Dylan is the kind of employee I would look for and hire. Thank you Dylan, you're appreciated more than you know 🙂

All staff at this store are so wonderful! Customer service is first priority here. Dylan and Evan especially helped this senior lady with a tiny mixup on my order and went above and beyond to make it right. They even gave me a gift card for the items that were out of stock, “to make up for my inconvenience “. I was so happy they did this, but it was unexpected amazing customer service.

My granddaughter worked at this Olympia store back in 2020, and I know she always gave the same high level of service, so I was happy the staff still offer that now. Thank you both so much for the help and kindness, and service above and beyond.

I just want to say that the 2 men working in the shoe department at the Olympia store are amazing. I went in a month ago looking for a good supportive, comfortable shoe and Evan was super helpful. I had ankle surgery 4 months ago and he helped me pick out the best shoes. Then the other day I called 6 stores to see if they had these Sorel boots in store. Nobody had them except you guys. Dylan I, and Evan were so helpful and I thanked both of them. I drive an hour and a half because I hate ordering online. Your store always has the new stuff I’m looking for and all your employees are so helpful and kind. Kaycee was my cashier and I thanked her as well. It’s not often that you find kind helpful young adults working. Thank you Dick’s Sporting Goods for great customer service.

Victoria and the Manager Kimberly went above and beyond to ensure that I got the kayak I went in to purchase. Very friendly and respectful. Kudos to them!

We purchased ankle braces at a different location and was also overcharge and realized that the items were swapped. We decided to come in to this location to exchange for the correct ones. Haley was helpful with the exchange and Alanda helped assist. Alanda understood the frustration we experienced at the other location and decided to discount us for the inconvenience. The store was also clean and organized. They have great staff working there.

To the last review. I work for this company and we are out of weights. During peak covid cases/shutdown of stores, the entire company was sold out. We get shipments 1 or 2 times a week and weights are all sold within that day or morning of the next. No one gave you a run around. Bathrooms are locked to deter theft and drug action.

Solid athletic shoe area. Person who helped me was really knowledgeable about running shoes and made really good recommendations. Sort of unheard of these days at retail chain stores to provide that kind of attention to a customer. Was a really pleasant surprise.

Golf Club Fitting with Ashton: Ashton was excellent. He is knowledgeable, highly highly professional, and clearly enjoys his work. It’s a great deal, money very well spent. Call ahead to ask specifically for Ashton.

Just bought two bikes for my kids there and Keegan and Gavin were super helpful. They answered our questions and helped us pick out the right bikes for our needs.

Employees were very helpful. My grandson got his new baseball glove. They broke in the glove for him. He's happy with the new glove.

Great selection of kayaks. Good prices. Wonderful advise on display on how to choose equipment. We will be coming back.
