🌲🌿🌳🌼⚘Absolutely stunning!🌲🌱🪴🌳🌼🥀.
Very beautiful at dusk ...
Very peaceful sitting watching the city lights illuminate my imagination.
Shadows as if beholden tentacles peering through the foliage,
Invite me to follow it's photonic mirage.
🌟 🌙🌃.
Different flickers of light, the reds, oranges, and especially bright whites, dancing 💃 ♥ in unison hypnotically subduing self awareness until only tranquility remains....

P.s 💘..... 🐕 🚶‍♂ ⛰ plenty of paths wait to those who seek
This hypnotic path to tranquility.
Accept this nature's beauty as a gift 🎁.
My your heart ❤ find joy and peace ✌ ✨ 💕 among our mother........ nature.
She's precious 💖... let's help her thrive 🌍💖🇺🇲🌾⚘🌸⚘🌼💐🌿

Beeeaautiful park. A legitimate hidden gem. I've been hiking in Dishman Hills multiple times and never knew this was there! The rentable log building is lovely and even has a fireplace and piano inside. The restrooms are also open to the public (at least during the summer). The huge grass field is very well cared for with multiple picnic tables and a cute little play structure for kids. There are many trails leading out to the hiking areas. This is now one of my favorite spots in the Valley.

Nice area that is not too far to have a picnic or go explore nature that is not too far from the city. The area mostly has pine trees in the park . A playground for kids if you have them . The bathrooms lacked toilet paper and paper towels after you wash your hands.

Great hiking paths. Gets really crowded on sunny warm days. If you do go please be respectful stay on the paths and pick up after your pets. This is all volunteer maintained and should be treated accordingly. Nobody is going to pick up after you, pack it in pack it out. If all that sounds good feel free to enjoy a wonderful park.

Hike, jog, run, play in the park. Sunshine, trees and hills. Very green and family friendly. Grass and park below the trails. Enormous parking lots. Paved and dirt. Near main roads for easy access. A great spot.

Lupin blooming! Saw rare bench trash on Main Trail. Please know that bench service is not available on the trail: bring out your trash!

Camp Caro Community Park serves as the gateway to the Dishman Hills Natural Area. Located just south of the Sprague commercial corridor in the eastern portion of the Valley, Camp Caro features a maintained lawn bordered by the rising bluffs and rock outcroppings of the Dishman Hills Natural Area.

The park is nice, but the real draw here are the Dishman Hills. They are great hiking trails going up and down the hills of the south valley. Within a few minutes you will be surrounded by nature, having completely forgot you only drove 5 minutes to get here. Wear good shoes

Great place to walk around during lunch. The loop around the main park is 0.25 miles so you can get in an easy mile walk during lunch. There is a playground and tables for kids and lunch. Handicap parking is right next to the park and restrooms and drinking fountains are open in the summer. This is the main access to the Dishman Hills Natural Area with miles of beautiful walking trails.

Attended a wedding there. It was well kept, very clean beautiful place. I have lived here all my life and didn't know this place existed. What a great find for weddings, birthdays, reunions or just a great party.

My daughter found a PERFECT place to get married! It was clean, naturally beautiful, had plenty of onsite parking...and, the park lodge was really awesome! Complete with both men's and ladies restrooms, a nicely done grand room with both a balcony and wrap around deck. The entire motif was natural log cabin style laden with a beautiful stain and clear glaze to give it that extra shine! I couldn't have been more impressed and satisfied with the entire experience...its one Im sure to cherish with fond memories for the rest of my days!
Camp Caro, definitely gets my highest accolades!

Wow, what a difference a year makes, but last year, thick haze of smoke, could barely see across mown lawn at Camp Caro, this year, even during the typically smokey August month, barely any smoke at Camp Caro at all. Which remember Spokane you can thank our dedicated Firefighters and especially YOU! Yep you yourselves were one reason fire season wasn't so bad this drought year, bcuz you were more careful Spokane with your fire safety and fewer man-caused fires were experienced, making it easier for our dedicated fire fighters to.take on and contain mother natures pyro-show! So while thanking those fire fighters give yourself a good pat-on-the-back for doing your part in preventing wildfires this year. And remember what Smokey says: "Only YOU can prevent Wildfires and the damage they do!" In my day they were called Forest Fires and Smokey was a gentle sounding human looking Black Bear. That was centuries ago, remember I knew dirt when it was still rocks! Lol

This little park is a nice, quiet place to get on the Dishman Natural Area trails, which is a network of about 10 different short trails, many of which are comfortable enough for a family with young kids. You can start hiking and if the kids start whining it's easy to find a connecting trail to head home, or if everyone is feeling energetic you can take the longer paths and walk for a couple of hours here. There is also a small field at Camp Caro that is a good size for throwing a frisbee or something. In the fall, there are a few good leafy trees that make for nice leaf piles.
