The best dentist office ever! After far too long from my last dental visit (in another town before moving to Oly), my fears of returning to dental health were eased by the excellent care provided by Dr. Kim and all the cheerful and empathetic staff at Olympia Family Dental. They have already done a lot to help me correct not only the damage i allowed to happen to my teeth and gums, but also correct my regular hygiene habits, all the time with compassionately delivered solid facts.

I intend to continue my dental health journey with Dr. Kim and crew, and I would recommend you find out for yourself what a positive dentist visit can be with them.

Had a really great experience with Olympia Family Dental. Everyone had a fun vibe, Dr. Kim gave a very helpful explanation of everything and good advice for caring for my teeth properly, and the hygienists did a really excellent job of cleaning the stains off my teeth!

Outstanding staff! Dr. Kim and his staff are fantastic. They make the whole dentist appointment pleasant and comfortable. They truly care about their patients and obviously, enjoy what they do. I am a relatively new patient. I’ve had three visits so far in the past year. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. This office is so great! When I first spoke with Scheduling Coordinator Lisa, I was experiencing heartaches with my insurance’s customer support. I had appealed to other dental offices that yawned and told me to go to the provider's support line (and deal with more circular rigmarole). Not Lisa! She offered to take the burden out of my hands without even hearing my sob story and without my having to ask. She and Office Manager/insurance wiz Lindsey tenaciously pursued the issue until there was a clear answer. I breathed an enormous sigh of relief and enthusiastically signed up for care. When I went for my appointments, the office was clean and comfortable. The medical staff were bright, cheerful, calm, and patient. Hiromi and Trish were delightful to talk to and always made me feel like a V.I.P. while maintaining deft precision at their work. The doctor’s lidocaine application was surprisingly pain free – best ever by far, as other reviewers have agreed. He also maintained control and accuracy with the drill. I have osteoporosis so that was a big deal to me. I walked away with two smooth, well-fitting, lovely crowns and I love my smile.

Let's face it, nobody likes to go to dentist. Of all the dentist I've been to through out my life, Dr Kim is by far the best! He has a special way of administering the novocaine shoots, that make it so it's barely felt. He took the time to show me how to properly floss, which no other dentist has ever done. He is the best!
The staff at Olympia Family Dental is also great they make me fell comfortable and even call me the day before my appointment to remind me.

Olympia Family Dental is a wonderful practice! I had a horrible experience with another dentist and then avoided going to the dentist for about six years before going to see Dr. Kim. I was extremely nervous, but I’m very glad I chose to be seen here. The staff is friendly, takes the time to explain everything to you, and they genuinely care about you as their patient. The office is clean and bright, and their customer service is excellent! If you are nervous about the dentist please do not hesitate to make an appointment here- you’ll be glad you did!

I had a wonderful experience at Olympia Family Dental. I had a crown come off that had been placed by an out-of-area dentist. They got me in promptly, treated me with warmth and consideration, as well as gentle anesthesia. Trish took extra special care of me! I will seeing them for all my Dental needs. Love this dental office! Friendly front office staff, dental assistants were kind and Dr Kim thoroughly explained everything before he started. I barely felt him numbing me - big bonus! Looking for a new dentist after a move, I researched dentists in the area extensively and found Dr. Calvin Kim. His top reviews are well deserved. Dr. Kim is both personable and very competent. I recently had a procedure which he made as painless as possible. I can't say enough about his staff. Everyone from the receptionist to the dental hygienists to the dental techs are great! I think I can finally say that I won't dread going to the dentist!

Just wow! Dr. Calvin Kim is the best dentist I have seen by far. I have a lot of work to do for my dental health and Dr.Kim has made it a wonderful process in prioritizing the teeth that need saved. I have had three appointments so far including root canals, fillings, buildup of a tooth for an upcoming crown, gum adjustments and it’s been a lot but Dr. Kim has made it possible and not overwhelming.
He makes the dreaded needle painless and has such an art and gentleness with his work.
He is positive and encouraging not only to me and other patients I hear during my visits but to his staff as well.

When my daughter first came to Olympia Family Dental she was terrified. Instead of forcing her through the process they eased her into the process. Those balloon animals won her over pretty quickly. Now when she comes in, she hops right up into the chair and chats through the whole appointment. I am happy with my own care as well. The staff is always welcoming, the office clean and inviting, easily understood explanations of procedures and needs, and patient is included in the decision making process.

Doctor Kim is the best dentist I've had in my lifetime. He's very friendly carrying and has a gentle touch when it comes to working on your teeth. When giving you shots to help your pain He uses a technique that helps you not to feel the pinch of the needle. It is a very effective technique. He's very informative and thorough when it comes to Your teeth. All the women that work there are very nice and friendly people. The women that work with him Are very gentle and carrying.
