VCA Millwood Animal Hospital

Great doctors, vet techs and staff. We had to take our cat Simon into the hospital where he had to spend five days between this clinic and an overnight clinic. Our interactions with the staff were always great and they were knowledgeable and friendly even when our cat was not. (LOL) We really appreciated the care and understanding that was given to Simon as well as to us. Since he had to be watched 24 hours we had to take him to another hospital and I was so thankful that the doctors communicated regularly and thoroughly which took a lot of stress off of my husband and I to relay messages. This is the second time we have gone here and had a good experience our previous time as well. I just wanted to thank everyone who helped Simon and we are happy to say he is doing much better!

We have been working with Millwood Animal Clinic for over 4 years and there are not enough words to describe the level of professionalism starting from first call to the front desk and leaving every appointment loaded with very valuable information from the doctors themselves. They know us by name and they know our fur babies by name.. That only shows and reflects the level of personal care as you were true family and part of a great team. Was referred here when my usual vet was swamped and we needed care right away. I was so impressed with their sense of urgency, attention to detail and the doctors care and concern. We are still in the process of recovery but the vet was kind enough to follow up the day after our visit. They even had us email photos of our progress to double check before confirming our course of action. This was a huge help since getting a 115lb dog with a hurt leg in & out of the vehicle isn’t an easy thing.
They have provided thorough, thoughtful care and I’m seriously considering switching vets simply because they are really earning my business! Wow!

The staff is very kind and thoughtful, it really feels like they are there because they love the animals. Their price breakdown and explaination of services is very informative.

I live in Airway Heights Washington I called the local veterinarians in Airway Heights I was turned down I drove & called 10 different veterinarian and Animal Clinic an drove to the shelters I got turned away with a dying mama cat an four week old kittens I prayed to God and my mom I saw Millwood Animal Clinic I decided to give it one more shot I called let them know what was happening they came running out and help me they actually care about the animals lives it wasn't about the money or you can't save your animal thank you I appreciate all your hard work and your kind heart and how you actually care about the animals and not just the money other animal clinics should be more like your company actually care about animals lifes Thank You

My fiance and I don't hesitate bringing our fur babies here. Everyone is amazing. They all love Calypso and Atlas. They make our kitties feel special and loved which makes their visits much more relaxing. We highly recommend this vet clinic! We truly feel like they have our pets health as a first priority tied with making sure the pets and the parents feel comfortable. Thank you for your awesome service!

I've been going to Millwood Animal Clinic for about 16 years with my cats and dogs, and they are the best! I drive all the way out there from north Spokane because I love them so much. They have taken such great care of all my pets (and me) through multiple procedures, a few overnight stays and a close call or two. I've never had a problem with them at all. All the Doctors we have seen there have been great, but I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT DR. WIESE! She has been with my dog and I through some really rough times, and has been amazing. She never rushes me AT ALL even though I have a million questions, addresses/listens to all my concerns, she is so sweet to my pet and does thorough exams, and somehow makes it hurt a little less when there is bad news. I had to put my best friend to sleep recently, and I feel so blessed to have had her with us every step of the way. She helped make it so peaceful. I wouldn't have made it without her 💜

The staff is very nice. Brought my puppy in for her first visit and was treated very well. The assistants got us checked in quickly and we were seen at our appointment time. The cost is reasonable and we got the checkup free for the first visit. Highly recommended

*Update* Recently brought my two dogs here for a general wellness and update on shots and yet again their service was beyond wonderful, even with the complications of COVID their customer service as well as pet care was off the charts. I will continue to drive an hour from Colfax just to know my babies are genuinely cared for without question. My mom and I have brought our fur kiddos here for quite a long time they have an incredible staff of professional, yet very caring and friendly animal lovers, over all a fantastic place to bring your pets both for general health and wellness and emergency care.

I have three dogs and a cat and have been bringing my animals here for years and years. I have always gotten an excellent service and they really care about my animals. they take the time to answer your concerns call you back when needed and basically reassure you that they are doing everything they can. The doctors have all been wonderful and care for my pets as much as I do and take the time to listen to my concerns going over available procedures and costs before anything is implemented. We have never had any issues and have always been extremely happy with the care, service, and price point. Thank You Millwood Animal Clinic for always taking excellent care of my animal family. I enjoy calling in get excellent feedback from the front receptionist who knows what's going on at all times. Anyone who thinks she is rude is just unhappy because they are not getting prefferential treatment or the answer that they want to hear. thank you Paula for always being so helpful.

Our dog Tank jumped out of my car while I was driving. We called and they were able to see us 20 minutes later !! They fixed our hoy right up. Very compassionate and great trustworthy services. We plan to change over completely. We would recommend to anyone and everyone!!!

We cannot recommend this place highly enough!! Earlier this year, we were visiting family in Spokane (we live out of state) when our dog suddenly developed a serious eye infection. We called many, many vet clinics in the Spokane area, but none were accepting new clients. Finally, our run down the list of vet clinics reached Millwood Animal Hospital. The friendly voice on the phone assured us they could fit us in that day. From the moment we stepped in the clinic, we were given absolutely fantastic service! The concern for our pet (and for his worried parents!) was clearly evident. Everyone, from the front desk staff to the sweet vet and assistant, were friendly, helpful and took the time to answer all our questions (even about our other dog who was also experiencing some difficulties.) We highly, highly recommend them!!

We've been with Millwood Animal Clinic for over 15 years now and even longer with Dr. Schneider. Dr. Schneider and Dr. Freeman are wonderful, caring veterinarians who have many years of experience. You are told the facts and given all the options for your pets treatment. I've never felt a procedure was done to increase the bill. The pet's comfort and quality of life is considered in the treatment and you are given this information too. The office is very basic with no fancy decorations, but that's not important to me. The veterinary services are lower priced than others I've seen. We've never had problems with the staff, although there are some new people there now. I've had experience with other veterinarians in Spokane and I think these two are among the best. We have vets closer to us but choose to drive 35 minutes to go to these veterinarians.

Very warm, caring and thorough with their examinations and follow up. Not something I've experienced at all veterinarian clinics. From the receptionist to the technician to the doctor, everyone is excellent.I have several pets and extensive experience with veterinarians. Millwood and Spokane internal medicine are the absolute best! The follow up calls and concern are like no other.

Every one here is incredible. The doctors go above and beyond to connect with you and your pet. They work for your schedule and cater to your needs. Every time I've been in (3 large dogs and all things routine and serious) they have made sure to provide the best care, provide explanations, multiple options, and long term care for our pets and our wallets. They work with people with and without money. And I've sat in the lobby to see the Dr's give heart felt hugs to other people raving about the practice. Best vet in the area.

I'm not sure why they changed names, but in 2015 if it weren't for the compassion, dedication, and genuine love for their craft, my now 5.5year old picky wouldn't be lying next to me right now. They were able to work with me on a payment plan because they knew how dedicated I was to him, and with his three days, 2 night stay in the hospital because of a perforated bowel, and everything they did for him while keeping in mind, I will do anything for my doggy, they were conscious of the treatment costs and always called me if they felt a different course of treatment was necessary BEFORE doing it. They have been my only Get clinic since that day. Thank you, you beautiful people for saving Bentley's life, and doing everything possible to help me get my best friend back.

This clinic is top-notch! I would highly, highly recommend this clinic to anyone. Everyone from their office staff to their technicians, assistants, and physicians are all amazing! They are all full of compassion, empathy, sympathy, and they put the animals first. We take our own animals there and receive the best care. We recently ran into a situation where they were everything and above. A puppy was found abanded in a field extremely malnutrition and with a broken leg. They went above and beyond to do anything and everything for the little guy. They went right to work and fixed up Harley while money was not their first priority. We greatly appreciate all the work they have done and will continue to do. 100 stars for them!

They took my dog for a last mimmin appointment. They were so kind, helpful and thorough. 3 day after the appointment they called me to check on how my dog was holding up after the surgery. Great location and we will be using them going forwards.

Millwood Animal Clinic has been my veterinarian for many years. I have brought many pets here and I can't explain how good, sympathetic and knowledgeable they are in the care that is offered. They are no doubt my first choice when needing their service. I highly recommend them.
