I have been taking the family here for a few years now. We have moved around a bit and have been to a lot of different practices through the years. We have felt safe and very comfortable in this office. Happy to have found such good care from the whole team!

I had a root canal and had no pain! For the first time in my 27 years of living I didn’t cry at the dentist office. Great staff and great insurance coordinator and the Dr. is awesome! Would tell everyone to come here

I absolutely love this dentist and I actually get excited for my appointments! Very clean place and the staff here are all so friendly and sweet. Holly is amazing to talk to and even called to see how I was feeling after having a root canal done. I was in so much tooth pain and they fixed me right up and I haven't had any pain since. Hoffman is a magic man and does great work! I highly recommend this place.

I highly recommend Dr Hoffman and his staff for any dental needs. I have been a client for 2 years. I had an issue with a filling that was performed by another dentist. This tooth was causing much pain. I saw 2 different dentist with no relief. Dr Hoffman was recommended to me and he was the only dentist able to fix the problem. Today, Dr Hoffman fixed my front tooth; it was a little shorter then the other. Dr Hoffman is an artist! My tooth looks amazing! It’s unbelievable how much it resembles my other tooth in color and size. I get my teeth cleaned at Hoffman Dentistry by Hilary. Hilary is amazing; I couldn’t say enough about Hilary. My dental care was never a top priority when growing up and then, during a visit to the Army dentist in 1990, I was treated so poorly and painfully that I never went back to a dentist unless forced to. Then I met Dr. Karl Hoffman around 1996. My dental health had deteriorated to the point that I was on the verge (if not THERE) of being diagnosed with Periodontal disease. Dr. Hoffman was straight-forward and told me the truth. He also told me that he and his staff would work alongside me in fighting this. He outlined the treatment path I needed to take and carefully explained everything I needed to do at home. And so began our journey. This journey proved to be difficult , and with some struggles (multiple filings, crowns, and cleanings), but through it all he and his staff were helpful, supportive, and, above all, gentle. With his care and guidance, I now have excellent dental health and can smile without worry. Now every six months during my cleaning there is almost nothing that needs to be done. The best part was that throughout the numerous visits I was treated with gentle and delicate hands. Every time Dr. Hoffman, or any of his awesome staff, worked on me they were fantastic. They were not only concerned about my dental health but also wanted me to be as comfortable and as pain free as possible. Now enjoy going to the dentist. Dr. Hoffman, and his staff, will remain my dentist for the rest of my life...even if I have to fly here to be treated. Karl, Thanks for everything!!

Dr. Hoffman has taken care of me and my family for almost 20 years. He and his staff are the most professional and comprehensive dental care that we have ever experienced. My wife is from Eastern Europe and had many challenges related to her dental care. Also, she had high anxiety about going to the dentist. Dr. Hoffman dealt with her multiple issues with such skill and care that she no longer has anxiety about going to the dentist. Thank you for all you have done for our family’s dental health!

So happy to be working with Dr. Hoffman! I am getting braces from Dr. E and have 3 front teeth missing from an accident many years ago making my situation a bit complicated. Dr. Hoffman was able to take the partial I had been wearing and cut it down enough so that it could be permanently placed with the braces instead of having to take it out like I was. His work looks fantastic and it has given me an unexpected confidence boost! I have had my teeth cleaned and had a large filling done (Dr was able to save me from a root canal yay!) there and couldn't be happier. I am paying out of pocket for everything and I feel like Dr. Hoffman has done everything to keep costs down. Everyone in the office is very friendly, I highly recommend them!!

Three years ago we moved from the big city up north where we had an excellent dentist who was closely associated with the UW and used the latest materials and methodologies. We were concerned when moving here but Dr. Hoffman was recommended by a neighbor and we have found him to be perfect. He is clearly very savvy, thoughtful, and skillful. The whole place is staffed with wonderful people who make it feel right. We highly recommend Dr. Hoffman for great dental care.

My son and I have been grateful patients of Dr. Hoffman for the past 7 years since my son was a toddler. We have received outstanding care from Dr. Hoffman and his entire team! There are some critical factors that set Dr. Hoffman and his practice apart from any other dental care I've experienced in my life. They include a clear committment to prevention and evidence based care and highly personalized and safe care that reflects true caring about us as real people. When my son met Dr. Hoffman, he had significant bite problems that would have resulted in his needing surgery later in life. Dr. Hoffman was able to use advanced and cost-effective techniques to correct my son's bite and ensure his adult teeth came in straight with minimally invasive interventions. Everyone who knows my son is absolutely impressed with the results and the fact that Dr. Hoffman's proactive approach has positively impacted my son's future. We always look forward to our visits and to catching up with Dr. Hoffman and his team. My 3 children and I have been getting care from Dr. Hoffman's office for years. The waiting area is welcoming and entertains the kids with the toy box and reading material. The wait has never been long to be seen. The staff is great with the children and their manner is fantastic. One of my children has had some minor orthodontic work done here and I was quite pleased with the results. The results were so great in fact that I had my youngest one also participate in the same treatment.
Although I have had some minor issues with the billing staff, they are always quick to react and are very attentive to issues that I bring up.
Overall a great experience. I move every few years and when I moved back to the Lacey area, I had no reservation about returning to Hawks Prairie Dental Center. It has been one of the best dental offices we have been to.

I started seeing Dr. Hoffman because at my old dentist’s I felt like I was part of a cattle drive more than a valued customer.

When first referred to him, I was told Dr. Hoffman practices dentistry as an art, with great customer service in a modern environment. This has proven true for me.

When I go to their office, I know who will be working on my teeth, I know my hygienist, I know who I am talking to when I call; sounds funny, but it is refreshing and uncommon these days.

I am a white knuckle patient. My first major procedure was a root canal with a cavity right on top of the nerve. That day, after the Novocaine wore off, I hardly felt like I had been to the dentist, and the day after I didn't even feel sore. That was a first for me! They were patient and gentle through the entire procedure.

Since then, I have had a few caps and several fillings redone. I have never felt that any procedure was unnecessary. I am always made comfortable. I know exactly how much I will be charged, nothing extra and no surprises.

I am confident that Dr. Hoffman and his team will by my dental center of choice for many years to come. *****

I have been seeing Karl Hoffman for over 15 years and I have always received excellent care. He has always performed in a very professional manor and I have never felt the least bit of doubt in anything that he has told me in regards to work that was needed.
I have felt the least amount of discomfort during my visits as could possibly be expected under those circumstances. His staff are friendly and are well trained.
I have and would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Hoffman is an amazingly good dentist. I went through him for dental implants, and couldn't be happier with the results. I live over an hour away from his clinic, but am willing to travel that extra distance for the high quality care he provides.

Our family started seeing Dr. O'Leary and her staff back in 2007 (2007-2014). We have been away from the area for a few years and it is only Hawks Prairie Dentistry who we wanted when we returned. She and her staff are incredible. Wonderful patient rapport and customer service is top notch! Warm, open, and comfortable environment for children and adults. I have been very satisfied with this dentist and I am very glad to be back to have my needs taken care of by Dr. O'Leary. She truly is the best dentist I've ever had. Highly recommended by this military wife!

I was shaking in my boots having to finally address my terrible chipped front tooth!

For years i was going to different dentists having it filled, root canal and filled again after it fell out!

I couldn't afford a proper crown because it was so expensive.

As soon as i walked in i felt so comfortable. You can tell its a small team of people that are like a family! They had nice pictures up of them all which gave me a good feeling that they have been together for some time!

They could tell i was nervous, even getting a cleaning. The woman were so good about being gentle and assuring me i would be okay. I was so embarrassed about my teeth and never once did i feel that i should be.

I had to have the 'laughing gas' because i am such a wimp.

They never made me feel uncomfortable or stupid for needing it as a grown adult. They made sure i felt okay and told me everything they were doing before they did it.

Once Dr. Hoffman was in working on it he noticed it needed a post to hold the filling more in place. I never ended up having to pay for it because they understood it was a last minute add on!

Once i was done they took a picture, i could have cried i was so happy.
The receptionist at the desk didn't just take my money and say goodbye, she asked to see me smile, she was SO happy for me!

I'm making an appointment to go back and have the crown put on now that i have the money and i know i will be well taken care of and respected at this office- always!

I recommend them to anyone, especially ones that are scared of the dentist!

I have very sensitive teeth. I chipped a molar on Saturday night. Dr. Hoffman responded within 30 minutes of my call. He fixed the tooth with a painless injection. I was very pleased.
