Had a great experience. They installed a hitch on our minivan, quick appointment, even quicker install. They got us in in just a few days, and the service was completed in only a few hours. Looks excellent too, and lifetime warranty.

Best part: we arrived super early in the morning, but they had the managers text number on the door. Sure enough, I texted asking if it was okay to leave it in a certain parking spot and use the key drop. She said no problem, and we left knowing our vehicle would be taken care of.

I stopped into this location to have my car inspected because the lights on the trailer I rented weren't lighting up when I used my breaks or turn signals. James took a look and noticed a fuse was blown and changed it for me right away. While James was doing that, another associate named Billie noticed something was wrong with my tow hitch, and that it needed to be repaired before I traveled any further. James offered to put my car up on the rack and discovered some missing bolts. After a few minutes my tow hitch was repaired and I was ready to go. I'm not sure what would have happened without Billie's intervention to make sure my tow hitch was repaired before I left, but I can imagine something awful could have happened on my 1,000+ mile journey down the coast. I can't express how much I appreciate Billie and James, and how well they took care of me. Their concern for my safety means everything to me and my family. Thank you.

Rented from them a truck then a trailer, No issues, No problems, returns were a breeze. I suspect the 1 star ratings are NOT actual customers but people review bombing local establishments. I had to look up the local news and Thurston county police reports to understand what was happening.

We have rented many trailers and trucks for home projects, and recently had hitch installed here. Fantastic service, great inventory of supplies. James who does the hitch installs is very good.

We are moving for the first time in over 23 years, so you could imagine some of the stress related to our situation. We chose U-Haul based on previous experiences helping friends and family. I reserved a 26-foot truck with U-Haul online in advance of our move. Billie from the Olympia's store on 4th called a day ahead and asked if we'd like to pick the truck up early to provide us additional flexibility in our move. When we arrived, she and the crew were very helpful, curtious, and thorough in making sure we not only had the right truck, but the fuel, supplies, and helped us understand everything we needed to do for a safe trip and vehicle return at our destination. I rented a trailer on 12/30/23 and after having my lights checked out turns out my suv was not supplying power to the trailer. I had about 3 different employees checking my wiring and fuses to see if it was my car or their trailer. The tow master mechanic (sorry if I get his name wrong but hopefully it's James) he went above and beyond when it came to checking each wire with a volt meter (I'm assuming) to the point that he figured out it was a lil box that gets power to the trailer. Not only did he take his time but also he installed it with new wiring the last minute. It saved me from leaving a couple things in WA. From the moment that I arrived till I left I think was about an hour and a half...? I did have to wait since he was working on another car but it was amazing for me. I ended up leaving this uhaul with the trailer and made it to my destination with all my stuff thanks to all the girls helping and checking out my car wiring and thanks to James (hopefully his name) for helping me get a new box to control the lighting on trailers and installing it last minute. I'm so glad I rented a trailer from this place. I highly recommend anyone to do it since they go above and beyond what they could have to help me out and get my suv wiring done. Thank you everyone there that day!!

Customer service was the best I’ve experienced. Billy didn’t hesitate to ensure I had everything I needed to complete the job.

The person I worked with while checking out the equipment and hooking it up, and I don’t remember her name, was outstanding. I will rent from there whenever I need to rent equipment.

No issues, dropped off my truck and everything was fine. I was actually supposed to turn the truck in at 9 AM, and they gave me a courtesy call to let me know I was late, and didn't charge me.

No idea what all the bad reviews are about, all the employees were helpful and friendly. After I dropped off the truck, I had to go to a rental car place and pick up a car, and they let me keep my suitcase and bag with them while I was gone.

When I made a joke about other people saying they weren't friendly, they all laughed, and said it was mainly in courteous customers who created their own problems like not filling up the gas tank, or returning the truck late, and were mad about their own issues.

Totally quick and friendly even at 7 AM. I was hooked up and out of there faster than expected. Hauled a car from Tacoma to Olympia for a fraction of the cost of hiring a tow truck.

Ignore all the cult followers who place false reviews after their YouTube Cult leader assaulted a man there. According to police and the prosecutor the YouTuber was charged with assault and is awaiting trial.

I went to the Budget Commercial Truck rental place up the street.. nothing but headaches and greif.. these guys had me into my truck and on my way in less than 15 minutes.. great job UHAUL 👍

In conjunction with a recent move, I’ve had numerous transactions with this location. Even though some of the transactions were accompanied by hiccups, the employees did a fantastic job of resolving the issues and maintained an engaging and pleasant attitude. This has not been my experience dealing with many other UHaul locations.

The team was great. James helped me with trailer lights and troubleshooting. I would recommend this store to friends and family.

I stopped by to pick up a class 3 hitch for my 2006 Honda Element, they had one in stock and it was about $135, I've read that U-Haul sells high quality hitches for very reasonable prices and I'm going to have to agree. I did have an issue when I got home and discovered the hitch was missing all the bolts!

I tried to call and I was frustrated that calls go to the call center not the branch, but my rating doesn't reflect that because I'm reviewing this specific branch, not U-Haul in general.

I showed up the next morning and explained what happened and the employees were very apologetic, and the gentleman who was working with me looked up the hitch kit in his system and there were some branches with it in stock 30-40 minutes away. He said he would drive up to them to pick up a kit and get me my bolts that same day, probably back about 1:00 and he'd give me a call.

Right about 1:00 I got a call saying they had the bolts and I dropped by to pick them up, I did installation myself and it was nice and smooth with the supplied instructions and I'm happy with my new hitch!

I was disappointed that I got a hitch with no bolts but the way the employees at this branch handled the situation was impressive, I would happily return to this branch in the future.

Very nice and organized facility. People are great and listen to your needs!! Great Storage!!! Easy access to unloading into storage.

So pleased with the convenience of renting a truck for just a couple hours. It's like having a buddy with a truck.

Good customer service, large selection

I had a trailer hitch ordered and installed during a global pandemic, which is a huge service. The folks here were communicative and helpful getting the hitch I needed and the installation was quick and expertly done. Highly recommended.
