Hong Phat Market (Asian Grocery)

Very happy to find this gem of an Asian store closer to where I live that provides some staples any Asian recipe could need. Saves me a trip to seattle for betel nut, betel leaf, fish, cassava, fish sauce, moringa, Thai basil, lemongrass, ginger, turmeric, galanga, noodles, and so much more.

This is a classic Asian market with INCREDIBLE frozen food selection. If you want dumplings or pot stickers for half of what you'd pay at a regular grocery store, this is the place to hit up. There's a limited produce selection, but lots of sauces and meat -- plenty of what you'd need to make a good Asian dish. My only request is that they sell bamboo steamer baskets so that you can steam the dumplings rather than boil them!

So many great ingredients in one place, and the prices are good, too. Hong Phat has a great selection of most anything you might want or require to make an authentic Asian dish. There is plenty of parking available. Tip: if you want to avoid the busy College Street intersection, there are ways to enter/exit this location by going behind the building.

Walk in and smell the sweet incense, just nirvana. Far eastern foods and ingredients. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Will definitely shop there again.

I've been going to this place since I was a little girl. I love all the fresh herbs and other items I wouldn't be able to find at other stores. I always get excited to bring first time friends.

SUPER GOOD selection of vietnamese food. This is a primarily vietnamese market and they have a great selection of viet veggies/herbs, fresh banh mi and noodles, and items you cant really find in thurston county like lao fish paste. This is my favorite place to go! The staff there is very friendly and helpful!

Was going to buy some pork steaks but they were too big. A young man helped get them cut in half .Put them in a ice bag for me to keep them cold. I was going to the show. There meat looks so fresh. I'll be back.Thank you again.

I always love to go to this store. I can buy most of the ingredients I need for Asian cuisine. The owners are friendly and helpful.

This store has a great diversity in produce and Asian ingredients. I give this grocery star 5 stars for the consistency in having produce and products. Shelves always stocked. And the staff is always welcoming. Prices are reasonable, parking accessible, and much convenient location that driving to south tacoma way. 🙂

The best place in town for vegetables, fruits, and herbs for Asian cooking. This is my favorite place to buy baby bok choy, Thai basil, and mint. As far as markets in this area go I would say this is the best place for Vietnamese and Chinese options in Lacey, versus Arirang for Korean and some Japanese, Filipino, and Hawaiian.

Hong Phat also had great meat section including offal, duck, and seafood along with beef and pork and chicken you’d expect anywhere.

They always have a great selection of different meat. Things you don't usually find in regular grocery stores. Also a lot of different Asian groceries. Cool place fine. Something new every time I go there

Wonderful place! Was greeted very friendly by all the staff, Found everything I needed to make my favorite noodle dish kua mee. They had fresh vegetables and a fresh seafood area too! I will definitely come here again.
