We are so happy with our costumes! My wife and I Just played Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Sensory Tool House in Lacey. Working with Denise, owner of Creative Costumes, was fun and we learned a lot. She is an expert in costumes and formal wear. And she completely understood and appreciated the special needs of the children and families at our event. Her inventory is enormous, high quality, and fairly priced. Thank you Denise. Oh, texting is a good way to reach her.

If you have an idea for a costume and just need to find the parts you really should visit Denise. I can't begin to explain to you how much stuff she has and it's all unique and of theater quality. If it were allowed I could wander for hours.
To make the best of your visit you should call ahead and make an appointment. Have a couple ideas for what you want to do ahead of time. Denise works with you personally to design your costume and she is amazing helpful! Oh and the costumes rentals prices are pretty reasonable. Last year I rented an amazing shiny red 3 piece suit with shoes, shirt, suspenders and hat for about the same price I paid for a wig, wings and bow (I was cupid) from the Halloween store. And she altered it to fit!
Bottom line... If you are looking for a costume or formal wear due yourself a favor and set up an appointment. Denise will take care of you.

Denise the store owner is a delightful person to work with. She helped get my son a suit for his home coming dance. On very short notice. Last minute alterations. She's very passionate about her suits and costumes. Her costumes are top notch.

It was hard to find at first because the shop is a little hidden, but Denise was great. Very flexible and was able to fit my brother with very short notice in time for his homecoming dance.
He was very happy and looked great, we will work with her again!

Absolutely wonderful experience! Denise is kind, friendly, and professional. She was able to provide a tux for my son with just a few days lead time, for which we were very grateful! Everything was perfect and we'll definitely be back!

I just want to say Thank you to Denise for making our 2017 Halloween the best. I didn't find her until the beginning of October. You must make contact via email and she will make contact with you. She helped us put together our couple theme.
The place is full of amazing costumes, we are already planning for next year. The price is not outrageous for the real stuff.
I highly recommend Denise, make sure you make contact via email and then you are golden. She is so busy during October, if you plan ahead you will be happy. See you next year Denise.

From Leah- Had to post from my husband's account, but just wanted to say that Denise was awesome. She was able to accommodate my daughter (Jazmyn) with her school project and with very short notice of only two days. She has everything you need plus the creative vision...beyond anything I could have done. Needless to say my daughter got an A+ on her project. Denise is a one lady show so I advise making an appointment and being on time. She will take care of you!

Went to a costume party and she gave us many options for what we were going for. Has a lot of options for all body types except for petite men. She does hemming and alterations. She also has a lot of tuxedos and dresses for other events such as weddings and formal occasions! Very professional and would recommend to absolutely anyone.

We went to Denise for my daughters 15th birthday (High Tea) and we will be back ebery chance we can get to theme a party! She fantastic, the mind blowing amount of vintage, replica and period pieces she has along with every kind of accessory you could imagine. To call these costumes is NOT doing them justice! Titanic, Gone With the Wind, Ever After, 80"s, 20's Steampunk....soooo much more. We will be lifelong customers for sure!

Go here for all your costume needs. Huge selection and Denise will tailor it to fit you. She has everything for anyone and they are not the cheap costumes you get at Party City. These are real fabrics, real period pieces. You feel completely in character.

I've used her for two events and both times the costumes were out of the park. One was for an SNL Halloween party where she had everything I needed to get into the character of Father Guido Sarducci. Then a Renaissance costume to mimic a country peasant woman.

I have learned that it's best to call two weeks out as it can take more than one fitting to get your costume right. She is a one woman small business owner wearing many hats, so you need to plan ahead to give her time to help with your costume.

My jaw dropped when I walked in and saw the amount of stock and possibilities this shop has. I needed just a fake white fur stole and of course Denise had it. She has complete ensembles from head to toe, wigs and accessories, anything anyone would need. I can't wait until the next party or themed event so I can go back!

The owner is very personable and very helpful. She got me in there and got a suit the night before prom, without a feeling of being rushed or being a burden. She has a humungis selection of suits and costumes. I will xefinatly be going back for any more of my suit rental needs.

An un believable amount of inventory. She was very helpful and got me everything I needed to make a complete transformation. I would use her service again.
