Hands down best self service yard in the PNW! Staff that makes you feel like family and a great selection of parts, much less picked over than the other locations.

I got lucky, in that they had two Subaru vehicles for me to pick and pull from.
Helpful staff called me back with my annoying technical questions.
A++

Most all the staff are helpful and friendly. I come at times that I only really ever work with Melissa; whom is very knowledgeable and helpful and both Chris's which are always very helpful, knowledgeable and super friendly as well. Pretty good selection, and mainly the prices are fair. Only advice I have is make sure you are being charged for the proper part type, as it's easy while checking out to have the wrong part type entered and it can be the difference of $3 vs $40 😂 more or less depending on the part of course. Also, if you don't ever see a specific type of vehicle you might need just mention it to management and they will definitely help to get something to the yard which was super helpful for me and impressed me they went above and beyond to bring what I needed in give or takes couple years. Overall, awesome place to burn a few hours at if you have the time with some great people. F

I had no idea when they closed the yard and as it turned out, I showed up with a minute left. Instead of dismissing me and shooing me off until tomorrow, the woman behind the counter welcomed me in and in turn i told her that I would just make sure they had the part and would come back tomorrow when they were open and I would have more time to pull the part. Excellent customer service! I'll definitely be back. Thank you for helping to restore my confidence in the retail professional.

I needed a alternator and was short on cash. It only cost me about $22.00. It is still working great but if it only lasted until my next pay day I would have still been happy. They were great to deal with I would go back again for sure.

Except for it being absolutely and horrendously cold this morning it's always a decent place to be. Tinker with cars learn about them tear them apart and it don't matter usually you can find the part you need unless you break it like I usually do by accident. Prices are decent usually the stuff you know is helpful in communication and talking but they don't help you out on the floor I guess or the ground or whatever you wanna call it.

I spend a lot of time at Pick-n-pull they are helpful friendly and have a great selection of cars and trucks on there lot. There prices are rock bottom I believe that they are super low in pricing to avoid the haggling process you can still find at other wrecking yards. I enjoy the time i spend at this store as well as the Lakewood location but most definitely Tumwater is my personal favorite.

Great guys out there. Pleasant to deal with. Great set up and format for the type of business. Wish they had a much larger inventory. Had an older ( 2000 ) van to get parts for. But they did have what i need this time. Thanx guys.

Renee was very helpful and personable. I hated parting with my long time CRV, but was time to retire her and Renee made the process rather painless. The other employees were also very friendly.

You should know information on what you need year make and model of car as well as engine and transmission 4x4 or 2 wheel and bring your own tools be ready to be checked and get dirty no kids not under 12 anyway. These basic pieces of knowledge will help a lot.

Needed parts for my 2005 Outback, they told me over the phone how many vehicles they had that I could pick from, gave me a map when I got there and had very reasonable charges for my parts that I pulled!

Been going there since the 60's

It's a wrecking yard, It's been there since dirt was formed in Thurston County. It used to be Capitol Auto Wrecking... They have wrecking yard parts. They know what parts they have for the most part. This has been my first choice since the 60's, imagine that. If I wanted service like Starbucks I would go to Starbucks, this is a wrecking yard. They handle people one at a time per employee at the counter. It's a wrecking yard people... whiners

They are always helpful, get me to what I need and good prices. The lot can be a mess when it rains too much (pool in the middle), but its organized and safe. I don't go anywhere else, here first always.
