Yummy Cafe

Had a **stellar** meal here with friends. Everything was delish, but the standouts by far were the flash-fried, shell-on shrimp dusted with cornstarch and SALTY DRIED GRATED DUCK YOLK (OMFG!!!), and the chongqing chicken. Light, crispy, perfectly seasoned. Best Sichuan food in town.

My favorite restaurant in State College! The spicy crispy popcorn chicken and sauteed green beans are best with warm white rice and homemade wanton soup. Perfect combination for us.

I went for a Wonton Soup and a fried rice. They were delicious and everything seems to be fresh made.

I drove from Long Island, NY and came across this gem. It was a little tiny "hole in the wall" family run business AND IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!
I love Asian cuisine, not American-Chinese but authentic!!!
I have made this drive 3 times and each time I have enjoyed a delicious meal that tastes like Yiyi cooked it herself. 👍

Best food I have had in State College, it’s not soggy and it’s full of flavor. The food is so fresh, the fried rice is simple but amazing!!!! The staff is so friendly and nice. I will definitely be returning to eat here or take it to go, I’m so happy I found good food in State College. They also deliver which is amazing!!!

One of my top 3 favorite places in State College. Every time I go the food is better. Get the lunch special fried egg and steamed tomato, you won’t regret it. The braised pork belly is amazing here too. 番茄炒蛋 and 红烧肉。Show the waiter those meals and you will love it.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in State College. I always get the soup dumpling and it is so delicious and juicy. The duck platter is also very delicious. Would absolutely recommend!!!

One of the best meals I've had i a while. Very traditional szechuan cooking. Very fresh tasting and well cooked. Good service.

The steamed pork buns with pork belly are very good as is the green beans. I was impressed with everything.

I see the place is always full of asians which makes me think that this is very authentic. From my opinion the food is very yummy. Fried rice here is comfort food for me.

I was surprised at the negative reviews for Yummy Cafe. All of my experiences here have been wonderful and I highly recommend it- very decently priced too. The Singapore Noodles are my go to.
