Southern Comforts

When walking through the door of the restaurant, you are welcomed by the décor that showcases signs of positive sayings and the aroma of delicious smelling food coming from the kitchen. The menu is full of all of your Sunday favorites that are very reasonably priced. I ordered the overstuffed baked potato with broccoli, cheese, and chicken. The two sides that I had to accompany the potato were cabbage and collard greens. To add a little bit of a kick to my sides, I drizzled an adequate amount of my Chef Richard’s special hot sauce. This is definitely a go to restaurant you must try in Bucks County.

Very good. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet. The waitress and the cook made sure it was cooked good enough for us since it was our first time). We had the Reuben sandwich w/ Mac cheese and buttermilk corn bread, so good! Not many options but the waitress helped out. Pricing is very reasonable. & it is BYOB!

This place was amazing. This is a must try. They have a long list of food to choose from. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!!

Customer service is top notch. Very friendly and welcoming, and the cook even thanked us for coming. That right there means a lot to me. That's true gratitude and genuine friendliness. The food was great. Not 5 star restaurant food, but home cooked food that was real. The value is amazing, a lot of food at a reasonable price. Definitely exceeded our expectations. So glad we tried this place and it is now on our list to order from again

This place is all about comfort food. Love it! Had the short ribs last week and the Salisbury steak last night. Great stuff! The sides are on point too with terrific mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and stuffing! Can’t wait to work through the rest of the menu. Very friendly and fast service too!

We tried this place for the first time tonight and everything was delicious! A few of our favorites were the mac and cheese and cornbread. Everything tasted like a home cooked meal and we will absolutely be back! The chef was even kind enough to come out and thank us for coming. So glad to be supporting a great local business.

Just tried this place for the first time two days ago and it was excellent! Best cornbread I've ever had, succulent black-eyed peas, and delicious candied yams. Lots of great food for a very inexpensive price. Will definitely go to Southern Comforts more frequently. And I can't wait for the chef to add baby back ribs and fried okra to the menu!

This was my first time ordering food for myself at Southern Comforts. I've picked up doordash orders before from here and the atmosphere seemed so warm and welcoming. To say the food was phenomenal is an understatement. Everything was so delicious, the portions were huge and the price was very reasonable.I cannot wait to try other options that they offer, especially their desserts. 11/10 experience!!

Food was excellent. We ordered the white fish fillets, brisket (which was as soft as butter) and chicken tenders. Large portions and a great value for the price.
The apple pie was so good. We definitely will be back!

Tonight was our first time ordering from Southern Comforts. I can sincerely say we will become regular customers. The staff was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we phoned in the order, to when we picked up same. The food was phenomenal and so flavorful. My husband and son fought over the carrot cake. Well definitely order again.

OMG.....we try to order something different each time. This time it was the Meatloaf and the grilled Salmon. I swear to god this place had the BEST home cooked food around. None better. I have not been disappointed with anything . I hope you are around for years to come. This was true home cooked Sunday comfort food at its best.

Tonight was the first night we ordered from Southern Comforts. The staff was very helpful when ordering. I was on my way to pick up my order when I received a call to tell me my order was ready. Chef Rich came out and greeted me as I walked in and engaged in conversation as I checked out! The food was absolutely phenomenal with great portion sizes and even better pricing! We will most definitely be back!

My husband and I just got take out food from here for the first time. We will definitely be return customers. So much delicious food for a great price and the Chef/owner is super friendly and kind. 4/4 rating. Plus the decor is super cute.

Fantastic. Brisket was excellent. Lean and tender with marbling that melts in your mouth. Mac and cheese was excellent. Candied yams were excellent. Cornbread was buttery, moist, and sweet. Nobody likes dry corn bread. Phenomenal service and food. Very happy with my decision. Also, portion was outstanding. You will not be hungry after!

Southern Comforts is amazing to say the least. Best brisket I’ve ever had. Great sides. Every order feels like someone put this together with love. The staff is incredibly nice. If you’re in Bucks county do yourself a favor and order some of their food.

I don't understand the 1 stars... this was probably one of the best places I've ever ordered at. Chicken and waffles were on point. Cornbread was delicious. I'm normally picky with coleslaw but this was bomb! Definitely ordering again and trying everything else on the menu. Great staff too!

If you live in Morrisville and haven't given this place a try yet, do yourself a favor and fix that! We tried Southern Comforts food for the first time yesterday and were very impressed! The food was all very fresh and full of great southern flavors. (I highly recommend trying the collard greens and as the chef suggested, pour some of their hot vinegar over top. Soo good!!)

In addition to the awesome food, the staff are the nicest people ever. I ordered online and got an estimate of 40 minutes, and they actually took the time to give me a call and let me know my food would be ready sooner than that because they didn't want it to sit there and get cold. Small gestures like that go a long way in my book.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first dinner from here! The candied yams, hush puppies, ribs, brisket, and pulled pork were all amazing. Loved the complimentary pieces of apple crumb cake too!! Will be back for more of everything😋

Amazing! Was a bit skeptical at first since I’m from the south and know what good southern food tastes like but I’m glad I tried them out. Wish I would have ate here sooner honestly. Nice to find a good southern cooking place!
