Despite my picky palate, I must admit that the food was truly exceptional. Each dish was carefully prepared, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced. The restaurant definitely met my expectations, and I will certainly be returning. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality culinary experiences!

Update - came back - it’s New Year‘s eve and got a quick seat at the bar. Likely customer 1. I have a really sick relative so a little break was nice. Lobster Risotto well done. Prices are very reasonable.

Thank you!

A lovely restaurant and bar on the Delaware River. The seating is quite nice for a meal. I lived in Yardley 30 years ago and it was not as cozy as it is today. I was impressed with the atmosphere and the food. Comforting elegance but not pretentious.

Main course is good but I don’t recommend happy hour, it was a lot of tomatoes sauce in chickens and in meatballs

One of the best restaurants in Yardley, offering excellent ambience, food, and service. We made online reservations and were warmly greeted, seated promptly even though we arrived early. The knowledgeable server checked on us regularly.

The menu had plenty of food and drink options, including an extensive wine selection. The Old Fashioned was a standout. For appetizers, we enjoyed Roasted Garlic and Fontina Arancini, while the Garlic Crusted NY Strip and Branzino were delightful mains. The Ricotta Cheesecake was a perfect dessert. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, making us eager to return and explore more. A true gem and highly recommended dining spot.

We pass this Inn on the way to my parents frequently and decided to try it out for lunch.

My husband had the Caesar Salad and I tried the Hummus. Both were very good. Atmosphere was very nice. The weather was still nice out and they do have outdoor dining, but we decided to go inside. It was quite busy at 2PM in the afternoon during the week. Only seating available was near the bar at a table. Staff was friendly and service was excellent.

2023
It was my father’s 85th birthday and we reserved a table for 8.
Right before we arrived, the Inn called and asked if we would like a private room and I said YES.
It was unexpected but very pleasant and great to have this service. Location is right on the river with a view. We had 3 appetizers which included the cheese board, Cornmeal Fried Calamari, and chicken wings. For the entrée, my husband had the Braised Short Ribs, one of my brothers and I had the Greek Whole Roasted Branzino, and some of the family had the Seafood Lasagna and crabcakes.

The service was excellent, and food was great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely would recommend this place to others and would return.

Visited the establishment this past Sunday for the first time. We arrived a few minutes before our reservations and we were still seated. It wasn't that crowded (around 7:30p) so that was great when it came to having a conversation.

Food: The food was tasty. My salad was a bit too saturated with the dressing but overall I enjoyed it. My partner had the crab ravioli which was delicious and filling.

Service: Our waitress, Angelina was great. She made sure to check on us to see if anything was needed.

Overall, I will definitely return to The Yardley Inn. Thanks for a great (and quiet) meal.

A dated but still comfortable and clean dining experience. The food is quite good as well. Could use a few more beers on tap. But I'm not complaining.

Can’t say enough about this place. First, the restaurant is located in a beautiful part of PA. Yardley. 2nd the head chef Robert is truly an artist. We felt like we were home in regards to the hospitality. Love this place and I’ll be back soon. Oh by the way, the food is out of this world. 🤝🏽

We hosted our daughter's bridal shower at the Yardley Inn recently. Planned it over the phone, Sue, the party manager was delightful, we had a waiter and waitress that couldn't of done any more for us than they did. We made a few changes to the menu and the food was outstanding and plentiful!! They packed up all the leftovers for us to take home...they gave us lots of time beforehand to decorate, lots of party time .....never rushed us....honestly, for a very fair price they made the entire experience wonderful and I would definitely highly recommend hosting any size gathering there.

The Yardley Inn Restaurant and Barr was an excellent dining experience. The view of the Delaware River was a nice touch and should be requested. The seeded, cracker-like bread served before the dinner was original and a refreshing deviation from the usual slices bread (although that was served as well).

The Asian wings -- served as an 8-piece appetizer -- were very flavorful and very plump. The shaved ribeye cheese steak was absolutely phenomenal: the meat was extremely tender and every bite loaded with cheese. The bun was very fresh. The plate came with a generous side of fresh-cut fries.

The Thai Chicken Burger was also delightful. The chicken was a tad dry, but one would hardly notice, as the delicious sriracha mayo more than compensated for it.

It would be nice to return, as my party was only in the mood for hot sandwiches and finger food. It would be interesting to try the other entrees, such as the filet mignon and pork chops.

Excellent food. We live over the bridge in Jersey and love being able to sit practically on the water here. I got the short rib filled raviolis - wow, incredible. My husband got the filet which he inhaled, the service was great and attentive. Restaurant was CV19 friendly and respected all guidelines making it very comfortable... It was nice being able to start getting back out to eat places, first time there and will most certainly be returning to.

First time ever going to this establishment and I GREATLY enjoyed. Went there for my parents anniversary and they fell in love all over again. They bonded over their caesar salad! Waitress was great and I had called earlier because we were going to be late and the hostess was more then accommodating, so sweet and kind. Will definitely be returning, hope to get the same staff, wonderful!

Was my parents favourite restaurant. Went for memories sake. Had a delicious Mediterranean board and corn soup. And their salmon. Beautiful presentation. Awesome food. The hummus on the board was very special

I have been to the Yardley Inn twice now and going back on my Birthday this week. The food is delicious and the staff is very nice. I have reviewed this restaurant before but failed to mention that they also serve Wild Seafood. This is a big deal to me. I don't know of another restaurant serving wild caught fish or seafood.
I can't wait to go back!

Food was delicious and atmosphere was great. John, our server was wonderful, he was perfectly attentive, great recommendations and friendly personality. The cauliflower bites and burrata salad were my favorite!

Stepped up and stepped right in. Couldn't believe it. The food was excellent. The staff checked on us about 30 times. The bill was surprisingly low, about 65 bucks for both of us including drinks and a dessert. Tip them well. They're working hard. Thanks again.

Came here for a late lunch after visiting a nearby orchard and it beat my expectations! I live in Philly and the cheesesteak here was top notch, I didn't even order it I was just picking the steak off the plate of who did! The Yardley burger was excellent, loved how it was cooked and everything on it came together well. The appetizers were nice, really liked the pork belly and the calamari was not too greasy or overcooked. The devil's on Horseback appetizer was a pleasant surprise for me, wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. Overall I'd come back for more!

We just had a Baby Shower for my daughter at the Yardley Inn. The staff were wonderful, the food was excellent, and the venue was a lovely room across from the river. I highly recommend the Yardley Inn for your next event.
