Big Easy of Trenton Restaurant

My experience was wonderful. The food was good, and the service was even better... I let them know i was from out of town and new to the establishment. Ive been looking 4 good soul food when im traveling thru Trenton. I was very much satisfied. The pie was homemade sweet potato. Shrimp over delicious salmon. Garlic parm tenders, mac & cheese, greens.. 😍

We stopped in here on Saturday 12/30 for lunch after The Battle of Trenton re-enactment at Mill Hill Park. I had a Trenton burger with a Guinness stoudt. The burger was grilled to well done perfection and topped with a slice of Taylor pork roll with cheese. My friend had a chicken sandwich that she said was absolutely delicious. Our bartender/server was very friendly and helpful answering my friends questions about the various drink specialties. They both enjoyed their choices!!! It was a very enjoyable lunch and social experience. We will be going back to try their smokehouse ribs brisket pork n chicken menu choices. Stop in and check them out.

I ordered the most delicious lunch from here a few weeks ago, via door dash. Was absolutely craving their sweet potatoes and fried shrimp. But unfortunately they are temporarily "closed on door dash" Super bummed, but great food!!

Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! Definitely worth our 45 minute trip here! Fried chicken is delicious, tender & moist! Collard greens are a definite treat! Corn bread is a special recipe and I would for sure be tipping the scales if I lived any closer! Gotta try this restaurant! Owner and staff are lovely!

CASH ONLY!!! Learned establishment is cash only upon arrival. Time didn't allow for ATM look up. Only other option I had is Zelle (not accepted) besides Chase and Wells Fargo debit/credit card. Lesson learned call before visiting!!

As someone who grew up on the white version of grits - idk what y'all are doing but these grits are divine. Can't wait to try all the other stuff on the menu, I know that lobster Mac is calling my name 11/10

Chose this place from Google. It was a great choice! This sandwich was soooo good!! It's called The Maati😋 also, treat yourself to a slice of their lemon pound cake, you'll not be disappointed@

OMG....I cant say enough. THANK YOU!!!! Great supporting local businesses. Customer service was outstanding and food was perfect quality. And price point was perfect for what we needed. Food was read on time and you have a life long customer. This is truly a shining star of Trenton. When you are at work or just passing through...try it. Everything was made to order and was FRESH!!!!!! YOU COULD TASTE THE LOVE IN EVERYTHING.

Easily some of the best food in Trenton! I have been eating this brother’s food since I was a kid and it’s still delicious! Dare I say it’s even gotten better to me as my taste buds matured. Went to TBE in Ewing today for the first time. Ordered the Zaire sandwich; my sister had chicken, cabbage and yams…….both for take-out. On the way home (yes, was hungry) I tasted the yams and cabbage, both delicious. My sandwich was WICKED DELICIOUS ! The Zaire special sauce…..the sandwich role……the chicken……combined for a delightful symphony of flavors!!

The sign outside caught my eye and I walked in very cool little place I couldn't sit and eat so I had take out. I ordered some fried chicken rice and green beans everything was very good The person serving me was friendly and energetic and the food most of all was great I would definitely go here again if I was in Trenton

I always enjoy the experience I have each time I enter into this Restaurant to grab a bite to eat.

The best soul food spot in the Mercer county area along with the neighboring two counties. & I say that with my chest! Their lobster Mac is 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 delicious and the salmon nuggets are top tier!

The service and food is always amazing. They always give enough to eat off of it for two days. Its always worth the drive. You must try the salmon rice.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Trenton you'll find this gem of a place. Relaxed atmosphere, artwork on the walls showing talent for more than southern cooking. The default is that you'll step up to the buffet where you can be served anything from chicken or fish, ribs, oxtail, lobster mac cheese, green beans and on, with a piece of cornbread to top it off. Burger and fish choices off the menu come up in a jiffy. The prices were reasonable and the staff friendly. You will want to come back more than once.

I work right around the corner and I’ve been wanting to order for about two years now, I finally did and I regret not doing it sooner. Ordered the Ox Tails over Yellow Rice, the Collard Greens, and Mac & Cheese. Everything was so dang good! The only thing I’ll say is I wish the Ox Tails had a little more spice to them. I put a lil hot sauce on myself and it was perfect. The front of house could use a little livening up, but over all I will be back next week. A+, keep it up Big E!!!
