Jimmy's Quick Lunch

Cool as hell hot dog/ lunch joint in Hazleton, PA. The smell of grease, friendly staff, and the fastest hot dog assembler in the East makes this a must stop!

You cannot go to Jimmy's and just have one "Jimmy Dog"! It simply isn't possible! Such a perfect custom dog, great snap on the casing nestled in its warmed bun, mustard I could drink by the glass, perfect chili and those perfectly dices onions!!!

Their CMP's (a sundae with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, marshmallow sauce and crushed peanuts) was velvety smooth! Just perfect!

While visiting, our waitress was positively delightful and we enjoyed saying hello to Jimmy himself!

Jimmy's Quick Lunch is a Hazleton institution. Just don't go there thinking you'll only have one hot dog!

We have to drive through PA a few times a year for work, and we always detour to Jimmy's for a stop off. My husband's grandparents were from Hazleton, and this place has remained the same with the same excellent food since he was a kid. What a treasure, there's so few places like this left.

I always try to stop here for lunch when I’m in town. Love this place. Hasn’t changed a bit since I was a kid and that’s what makes it so perfect! Comfort food at its best!

We have been going to Jimmies all our lives. My family was born and raised in the area but have moved away for years. They have passed. I live in Chester County but come up once a month to visit friends and will never leave without stopping for the best hot dog in the world. Love talking to Jim, such a great guy along with his servers. Will continue to go there for years to come. Thank you for fantastic food and ser.

When I was a kid in the 50'sy parents originally from Hazelton moved to CT. Every time we came back we'd go to Jimmy's. You bet'cha they were good. Excellent. Remember them well, and the Altamont Hotel, and the Skating rink on Broadway. 👍

For the absolute BEST Hot Dog you could experience you'll find it at Jimmy's along with other homemade meals. The staff if courteous and on the ball. For a pleasurable dining experience you gotta hit Jimmy's!

Great dogs, especially the hot sausage with onions and a chocolate egg cream to wash it down.

Best Rice Pudding Ever! Hot Dogs are okay, but didnt blow my mind. And this place is open much later than just lunch. Been around since the 30's, so they are doing something right.

One of the few remaining staples in the Hazleton area. Farmer’s Iced Tea, 2 hot dogs w/ everything, and a large order of cheese-gravy French fries is the way to go. I once got the fish & chips, and that was really good. You know what to expect when you come to Jimmy’s as the quality is always the same.

Best chili dogs in the region hands down and reasonably priced as well. This old time dinner has been doing it right for decades. This place gets crowded at lunchtime however the service is fast.

Hot dogs were great as usual and love the fried mixed vegetables. Onion rings, cauliflower, corn nuggets and mushrooms.

Grew up on Jimmy's hot dogs, French fries, and cherry cokes six decades ago... Whew! Where else can you have homemade meat loaf dinner for $6.30 or hot Turkey w/ stuffing dinner for $6.95. Add soup or salad for $1.00! In 2019! And leave completely satisfied!!!

I grew up in Hazleton. Jimmy's is like family to me. A couple of hot dogs from Jimmy's and I'm set. The restaurant will send you back in time. Sit at the counter and just soak it all in. If you have the chance, try their breakfast out too.

When I was in Iraq the owners sent me a Jimmy's t-shirt and a gift certificate to use when I came home. Wonderful people and a wonderful place.

Had breakfast here recently. We had omelettes: sausage & cheese and ham & cheese. Some of the best we've ever had!

Edit:went back again tried the hot dog omelette amazing,got a dozen hot dogs to go, and two picnic basically.

Best place in Hazleton! Breakfast lunch and dinner all amazing! Great servers and great cooks!

I highly recommend their hot dog with everything (mustard, onions & chili). You'll also want more than one. Their fries are always great whether they're plain, with gravy or with cheese & gravy. You'll never go wrong with a milkshake or two, either.

Pro tip: Get the rice pudding for dessert!

This place is the best. Been going here 25 years now. If I'm in Hazleton and they are open, I'm eating here.

Jimmy's is THE go-to Hazleton staple eatery. Even if you're just driving through town, it is a great quick bite to eat.
